It is not even that. Delta state is not South East.
Their request is right but not realistic, lt couldn't make more sense if they are protesting for the creation of the Anioma state as proposed by Senator Nnedi Nwoko.
If the state is achieved then automatically they will be part of this Development commission. But requesting to be part when they are still in SS region does not make any sense.

We Igbos are all one, from the Igbo speaking towns and villages in Benue to all the 10 Igbo speaking local governments in Rivers, From Owerri in Imo to Agbo in Delta, we are all one and it is a shame that we have allowed the "divide and rule " strategy initiated by the British and Fulani's after the civil war to go on for too long. We must all join forces in ensuring that Anioma state which would become part of South east is urgently created.

It could have made more sense, if the demonstration was geared towards the creation of Anioma State. Before the people of south east should support this creation of anioma state, the people of anioma need to tell us where the Anioma state is going to be actually.
