如果你們2年前已發現有白蟻出沒，証明已有白蟻巢的存在。
我聽專家提議屋的牆外四週不要種植物，確保屋內乾爽為佳。我見你屋前已種了一排植物。
朋友的屋也發現有白蟻入侵，是經由車房向上侵蝕掉部份入牆櫃和櫃內幾箱書籍。但白蟻專家是用了幾個月放餌，追蹤整個白蟻窩的跡跡，才徹底消滅。過程很長很煩，但也沒有辦法。

My 17 years old home was built with a termite risk management system required by the Building Code of Australia (BCA) at that time. It is a system of socked conduits, with holes, laid around the house. Every 5 year, termite killing chemical is pumped into the conduits and seeped through surrounding soil to provide a barrier. Termite control company always ask to book inspections. Threatened without inspection every second year would void their warranty but could not tell what did they warrant in terms of compensation. The inspection is merely using a moisture meter to check wetness of inside walls. Termite needs a moist enviroment. I have a moisture meter to do the checking and a pressure jet to do the pumping. My house has concrete pavement around that serves as double protection. When I walk around the pavement, I look for mud build up to the damp course which can provide the entry for termites. I also regularly check my roof void for airborne termites.
sorry it is no good to fix the hole in the wall like this. The timber stud behind the gyprock is badly destroyed by the termites, all the way to the ceiling and beyond. You should replace the stud entirely behind the wall. What you have done is hiding the superficial damage, leaving a much bigger problem behind. Also there are better product to patch a hole for gyprock, you used a timber filler, when you really need a gyprock filler if you have a hole. The outdoor termite bait system requires digging a perimeter trench to the house, and install the stations at regular interval. Randomly install a few of those in the ground is useless.

We did. In fact, we employed two professionals in a row. What we showed is the after-work. And the bait trap is for preventive measures. We still have a pest control expert with us.
