Panama City Part 1: Miraflores Locks (Panama Canal) 🇵🇦

This is the first video in our mini 3 part series this week: our visit to the Miraflores Locks!
Opening in 1914, the Panama Canal connects the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans via Gatun Lake, offering a shortcut for ships instead of navigating a longer, more dangerous route around South America. On the Pacific side near Panama City, the Miraflores Locks have two chambers to lift or lower ships, using water filling or draining to adjust water levels. Have you ever been or wanted to go?
