Did you also get to know what was the reason behind the Connecting rod getting wasted. and was the grease of NLGI grade or generic grease used. what was the compound used for fusing of metal to metal parts and packing of RH Cover, was it also supplied by RE genuine parts.

Firstly engine overhaul/restoration depends on the condition of engine. In my case connecting rod was faulty and to change that had to open engine. Once engine is opened it depends what other parts need to be replaced Benefits of it - Engine becomes as good as new - Extends engines life - Better performance - Better mileage - No need to look for another 40 to 50k kms
