What is your best growing plant in January? 🤔
Definitely dennisii and piestolepis 😊
definitely hoya luis bois!
My Christmas cactus is blooming. I know there's some plants that look like Christmas cactus but don't bloom during Christmas time. But, it bloomed the last two Christmases. So! It's not dead! Winning! 🌿💚🌵💚🌱
My best growers for January are Caudata and Rebecca. They truly took off. Gracilis, Khroniana and Carnosa are not doing too shabby, either. Next in line is the dragon fruit cactus. Fast grower calls himself a cactus 🤷♀️
@@Hoyalicious both on my wishlist for 2022!
My partner and I watch you all the time. He has his Phd in Horticulture, and he's impressed. But mostly I think we are struck by your charming and witty presentation. Thanks for keeping us entertained and informed. You're a darling!
Don’t apologize. I could watch your plants and you all day.😄
Love the grow tent, thank you. As far as the black spots, take a picture of them, then come back in a few weeks and take another picture. If the perimeters are the same you're fine. If they've grown, then it's organic. Possibly mold, or since you tried to clean it already, maybe a super alien mold not known to man and this is the only place on the planet it grows! Hmmm? Does Little Shop of Horrors come to mind? Maybe Invasion of the Body Snatchers? Don't fall asleep anywhere near the tent until you know!
Each of your videos make me smile 😊. Thank you for sharing, thank you for showing us YOUR beauties !! Wow! I am blown away! Thank you for making me smile. YOU are wonderful and an absolute pleasure to watch!
I have a new found appreciation for your term “moss pocket”! Love that!
Thank you for this Impressive show! I will need to see at least 2 more times to take it all in its full glory!!! Your collection is all so organised and all your plants look in perfect condition!! Please can you do a video on your typical care day , how you water and feed them.., you have truly amazing discipline…👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Thank you 💚 Oh, trust me, I am not so organized always :D And I do make quite a mess sometimes 😂 But I would love to make that type of a video in the future. :)
Beautiful plants!!! To be surrounded by them is the best feeling 💚
I envy your tent. Immaculate plants!!
Thanks! :)
After my Hoya multiflora did only grow a lot of leaves and no flowers, I decided to take a cutting. This cutting has rooted under a grow light and it's in bloom now! Finally, I can see the flowers of my H. multiflora "Philippines".
ENjoyed your tent tour! My worst growing plant in January is a propagation moved to soil in November 2021 of Hoya David Cummingii. Don’t know what it’s problem to living is all about, must have had a chat with the brevialata, which I can’t even prop in perlite, miserable little 💩. But you asked about my best growing plant in January, by far, my Hoya Carnosa tricolor (Krimson Queen), bought it in a 10 cm pot in 2019, propped a couple times, just had to bump from a bulging 20 cm pot and added all together in a 35 cm pot! It is just on a bamboo curved trellis. Now my other hoyas need to get the memo....
That is amazing about Hoya carnosa 'Tricolor'! I think you need to place your bad behaving hoyas around it, and once they become envious of it, they will start to grow faster. 😂 I think Hoya imperialis is the worst one for me this month. It has months when it thrives, and then months when it.... well, excells at being a little 💩
omg so that's the actual Hoya bertoniae! I've never seen it. How funny that sp. aff. bertoniae seems to have a bigger spotlight than the actual bertoniae!
Ohh I love seeing how your plants are doing. Mad respect for having to care for so many plants. Your burtoniae ? is gorgeous, so is your Splendid and Dean McDowell. And OK, that last orchid was stunning, though I still don't like orchids. 😂
oh I so understand I have building works here myself and filing for my channel has been put on hold because of the noise,
love the channel London uk here
long videos are the best lol, no need to apologize! I love hearing you ramble about anything and everything plant related! 💗🌱
Stunning orchid!☃️❄️🙃💚
Oh yes, my best january grower is hoya verticillata (outer variegated). It grew a huuuge vine in my tent, and it is filling it out very quickly. :)
It is all good unless it blooms before its mother that is staying with me. If that happens, we are going to have a problem.
@@BasiePlants You know that will never happen :D
@@jelenamitrovic9039 We will seee :D
Liked this video so fast!! I’m so excited to watch. I am obsessed with your channel. 😍
Had to stop the video to say, OMG your Florida Ghostie!!! 👻 so beautiful 😍
My ghosts thanks you 👻👻👻
Thanks, bunches!
That Philodendron gloriousum zebra is absolutely stunning💚
So beautiful!! Great video!
I am in awe of your plants❣️
What a bunch more of lovely plants you have. And flowers, wow! Thank you for this video today! 💚💚💚
Oh my your Dean McDowell is so gorgeous! It's on my list for this year. It's very pricey locally so I'm hoping to be a able to import one. Loved your collection tour, thanks for sharing it with us ♥️
I so want a mcdowell actually I think I have about 10 wish list plants that would come to over a £1000 so im trying to keep my wallet closed at the moment lol
Beautiful plants as usual. I'm always impressed at how well you pronounce those difficult Hoyas 💚
Thank you they were all so lovely but the star of the show to me was you and your lovely orchids!
Somehow I’ve been getting more and more orchids and I love them! Thank you for sharing your greenhouse
I love orchids. I did have a very bad experience with a virus on my Phalaenopsis orchid, that spread very fast and affected more than a dozen of them. I think if I start to collect orchids again, I will carefully select what I get. :D Thank you for the nice comment 💚
@@BasiePlants oh no!!
That’s devastating!!!
Nicely done!
Love this video!
Moj 1 year no buy me je ubio... Kakva kolekcija, umireeeem!! Sve je divno i prelepo i super napreduju!!!
Taman da nadoknadis 😅 Hvala 💚Svaka cast za 1 year no buy 😱
Great video! New subscriber for sure. Thanks for showing us your gorgeous plants and your amazing ideas 💚
Miro your plants are all looking so lush and beautiful. I especially love the Hoya grey ghost. Please, please show us your hoyas when they come into flower.
I love optimistic moss poles. Your plants are looking great. I love the florida ghost and beauty. Love those leaves
Flordia Ghost was such a tiny cutting when I got it. It still amazes me how much it grew. Moss poles are perhaps a bit too optimistic? We will see. 😂
Miro! Have you ever talked about your diy rock substrate? (dont know what else to call it lol, diy pon maybe?) I was considering experimenting with it myself, but couldn't find any videos on your channel where you talk about it, but would love to hear your experiences :)
I never talked about it! I am new to it, so I think I need to give it a bit more time. So far it seems to be doing well! I wonder how it will do long term.
My Hoya are growing exceedingly well this winter, I don’t think they understand that it is winter when you have grow lights on them.☃️❄️🙃💚
Love that cymbidium!!! Great job! (As if you birthed the blooms yourself!🤣)
My best growing plant(s) currently are my ficus elastica, which is kinda surprising, but I’m pleased with it!!
Loved it
Glad to hear it :)
Every time you do a video that isn’t 100% Hoyas I’m like “woah holy crap he has more than Hoyas???”
Your plants are beautiful! And your Hoya collection is amazingly! I would love to see you rearrange your milsbo cabinet. 😍
If I don’t become too irritated, I will probably record it 😂
Hi Miro. Love your tour! 💚 I have a grow tent, it’s 8x4. I have 2 six inch ( 15.24 centimeters 😂) clip on fans and it’s seem to be enough air circulation. Love all your plants! 💚💚💚
The atabapoense is yours 💜 I really love this video, it is nice to have an overview of how much they have grown, and they grew a LOT! ❤️
It too has a very large moss pole. We were very optimistic about its growth as well. 😂
@@BasiePlants It grows really fast. Even the top cutting continued to grow quite quickly and it didn't have many roots. I think it will go wild in your tent. :)
@@jelenamitrovic9039 Maybe moderately wild is okay then. After all, I only have so much space.
Amazing plants,
Your Hoya AH074 grew so much!
@@BasiePlants I see
A grow tent is nice and you have some gorgeous plants in there, but I prefer to see my plants and yes I haven’t any that are rare. Again your plants are gorgeous !☃️❄️🙃💚 Do you propagate to sell? ☃️❄️🙃💚
I can't believe how many more plants you can fit with only 40 more cm than mine. 😂
I did say in the first one that size does matter. I wasn't joking. 😂
Miro did you get through your $5 patrons with one tiny breath ? Amazing !
What substrate do you use for your Hoyas? They all grow so lovely!
Hi, I have a question, are considering moving? I worry a bit about the high humidity in your apartment. Also, you might be able to find a bigger place :) and be able to show us more plants ;). Beautiful melanochrysum! So excited about the undulata!! My plants are starting to wake up as the days start getting a bit longer... my fitchii has multiple new nodes...
It would be nice in the future, but it currently is not an option. :) Perhaps in couple of years.
Could be charcoal?.....those black spots?
Also, why don't you cut back your hoya vines, so the energy goes back into making more leaves?
I find sometimes hoya need a bit of a shock to shake them into growing.
Love your New Guinea ghost....its a lovely color.
It's interesting how the peduncles remind me of the rings of trees, as in everytime they flower, the peduncles get bigger and bigger. Not the best analogy but kind of tells a story.
For good sexy voice part go straight to 38. minute people!!! (Go back to watch from the begining after getting that hoya whispering to your ears 🔥I recommend watching this with headphones on 😁)
My dark star and black velvet alocasias are pushing out leaf after leaf. My first winter with alocasias and I thought they were suppose to go dormant. Nope. Fully expecting them to go dormant when the weather improves because why not.
😂 I hope they don’t! You are then much better with Alocasias than I am 😅
What potting media you use for Hoyas?
Hello. Could your black spots be sap from the plants?
Was that a Tortum or Elegans?
Lot of propagations
The Orchid is awesome
It was tortum :) The one in the back, kind of hard to see. 😅 Thank you!
I’ve seen similar issues with grow tents and the ‘black marks”. I think it’s the high humidity that makes the inner lining dissipate/ rub away 😔
Oh really? I tried to scratch away unaffected part to see what would happen, but nothing did. I will have to make sure then to pay attention and see if it will happen to other parts. Thanks!
Where did you find the wire that you put on the sides of your grow tent?
Those are left over shelf levels from my Ikea OMAR shelf 😂
@@BasiePlants hmm I’m going to see if my husband can make me something similar 😅
Where are you located?
On ur philodendron brandi,,did you have any trouble with the leaves unfurling,,and if so how did you fix..lol I jus need ur phone #so wen I have a plant issue,,I could jus call you right up..Well not really,,,but yeah really.
I love how it’s called Plant Minute but it’s literally 48 min long 🤣 not complaining though
😂 It is minute as in, a record, summary of how my plants did. As if we are having a plant meeting 😂
@@BasiePlants ohhhhh I always forget there’s another meaning to minute, English isn’t my first language either 😂
Florida has too much light
'Florida', 'Florida Beauty' or 'Florida Ghost'? :D
@@BasiePlants lol the one that keeps putting out white only leaves
Miro, what's wrong with you??? Your voice is SO pessimistic 😂😂😂!
Did you watch too much of Kaylee E.? Or Betsy B.?
Your plants look 2022 times better than you sound.
