Tip: you don't need to make all of this, or even to waste a week, just get an old book, put the flowers inside, and apply pressure. After a few hours it should be flattened.
when you wait, the moisture has a chance to completely evaporate, meaning the flowers will be brighter for longer and won’t rot later on. The point is less to make them flat and more to dry and preserve them
Haha, NO. My sister taught me a much faster way. Wrap your flower in a paper towel, put it in a plate, and then smush it flat with a glass, then microwave it for 10 seconds. All the oils will soak onto the paper towel
You've probably already realized this by now but you don't want to use any materials/paper with printing or texture. It transfers to the pressed flowers.. found that out with four leaf clovers😔 Acid-free blotter paper seems best. Books aren't great because you don't know if it's acid-free and you don't get uniformity with thickness.
Didn't you see some little bugs in the flowers? :( recently I picked up some flowers from the park and after some days I noticed some tiny bugs :( what can I do to avoid them?

@@abitaylor7853but still In a book you just have to wait around 3 days not a week

@@abitaylor7853 I didn't know abt that, thanks
@@theyluvmisha that seems like a good idea but will it flatten the flowers?
Really easy.
*Proceeds to whip out saws and drills*
Looks lovely though!
Beautiful, seems a lot more guaranteed and secure than the normal methods. Love it!

Isn't that why you put parchment paper on both sides of the book pages before you put your flowers into the book?
Kitchen roll / paper towels are textured & will leave those texture marks on the flowers you’re pressing. 😞 Not good idea to use …😮
Creative 😊

How many holes does your table have. Please buy a workbench for cheap from B&Q or tool station. 😅
Just use a book instead 🤡
