I remember an old mate of mine who came into the pub I was in for a drink and someone asking him how he got here when he was supposed to be doing time in the Green, the biggest hotel in brum.
He just said, he walked out as he was cleaning the staff reception he noticed that the door was open so he just calmly walked out.
I understood later that after he'd had a good night out with his mates he just drunkenly walked back into the Green and asked to be let back into his cell so he could get some kip. They hadn't even realised he'd been missing.
To this day, he's the only one other than buster the train robber, who got out of Winston Green without being released. Hilarious man.

@kenneththompson seemingly he was a paraniod wreck tam mcgraw and didnt go out his home after 6pm unless he knew it was treble safe to do so. And had men checking the place out before he went? Just incase. Wich doesnt make a bit of difference as they wouldnt be sitting waiting on him with a drink. The way it happend to billy mcphee. The guy wasnt waiting in the pub for mcphee but seemingly he wasnt far behind him as he knew mcphee would change what pu he was going into. Like something out of the godfather, and these guys knew it all too well. But mcphee and big gordon ross didnt give a fuck about all that. Well billy did as he told his driver to take him to a pub but to get out then change his mind and went to another pub, a just dont get all that. Of course hes being followed. It was all set up what would happen after all the mickey mouse games. And big ross was told some one wanted to see him out side It was a scene he had dealt with a hundred times and came away unscathed. But big ross had to be held from the back as 1 guy held down his arms and held as hard as he could as the other stabbed him at least twice. It was a cowardly murder. It had to take two or three to take gordon ross down, one wouldnt have been enough. And if they failed and gordon saw them and knew them they would have got killed in days or weeks a believe. Gordon could fight without a knife as well. So one of them wouldnt have got ross down that nite thats why he said no fckin chance its the two of us or three or nobody. But mcphee a dont believe could beat ross thats why one of them took there chance to do it, but theres meant to be more to that? But its old news now.

Absolute bullshit about McGraw’s death. Ferris hated him but was obsessed with him same as he was with Arthur Thomson. Neither man ever spoke a word to press podcasters or publicly participated in any ego driven shows like Ferris has never stopped doing. McGraw had cancer, he died of cancer and a multi millionaire unlike this skint member who grafts podcasts for beer money.
Worth noting he claims he knew the guy who shot Arthur Thompson’s son? His two pals who were charged with the murder along with him died in a blaze of glory on the day of Thomson’s son funeral. The guy who stood against for Ferris on the murder also went out in a blaze of glory found shot too in his car in Thompson’s street. So, out of a Gang of four Ferris survives and no revenge?
Maybe the 15 year old boy murdered by his brother for which he is serving life is a measure of Ferris revenge?
