My dad bought me my first car (a used 77 Toyota celica, a bit beat up) in 1984 and when I picked it up and drove it home, I turned on the radio. This song was playing. I felt like I was in heaven, I felt free. It was the 1980s and I was in high school with my whole life in front of me. I was driving a car. It was a Houston summer. The traffic was jumpin. I'll NEVER forget the ENERGY this song gave me that night!!!!!!!!!!
