I collect Barbie, Monster High, Ever After High, Rainbow High, LOL OMG, Na Na Na Surprise, Disney Princess Dolls and so many more! I love fashion dolls and I believe that dolls are the best toys for people to improve empathy and to explore their creativity!
She's so gorgeous, i love her! But i have a little theory about the white. Her last name is Onyx, which is a black gemstone. But if you look up Onyx stones, a nice chunk will actually have white in it, usually in a stripe pattern. So we got the stripe of white in her hair and the dress has the layers like stripes. Just my idea lol

wow i was shopping online for my daughter she wanted make up and I stumbled upon this doll I've never seen or heard of and I ABSOLUTELY HAD TO HAVE. I've never seen a black themed doll before. the entire shadow high collection which I'm just learning about is absolutely stunning. new fan
This is one of my favorite dolls. I absolutely love her dark side skin. The hombre skirt is what makes me want her. I could see her being the night sky. The baby hairs and even streak of white in her hair is absolutely beautiful. Her hair is so soft and i love the high pony. I have watched nexjen video but I love both reviews. The detail they put on her face and the lavender pop of color in her eyes definitely makes her a doll i want in my collection. Also the attention to detail the streak makes a white baby hair too.

She's just beating the meanies to the punch. She's gotten some really mean comments about how unprofessional she is... some folks just don't get that "so profesh" is part of her charm.
I meant don't be mean I had to reread it. You weren't being mean you're actually having a beautiful comment for her. She shouldn't be so hard on herself because she works so hard I love her makeup I wish I could do my makeup like that.

OMG you know Jen I watch her too that's so crazy I also cannot wait to get Chanelle she is an amazing doll for being totally the shade black but still being a woman of color I recently got my hands on Ash and Heather and Ash and let me say I love ash to death they really got the monolids down perfectly for a big eyed Asian doll

If you haven't opened Luna yet, the gladiator sandals are really hard to get off. You gotta pull of the top part off the little peg thingies in the back and they're easy to rip off when trying to get the sandals off (I did that). You kinda gotta push the peg thing in while you're pulling the top part off but it was really hard because they're so snug. I got frustrated and just pulled which is why I ripped a peg off. Even the ones I didn't rip off got ripped on both sides so only the middle of the peg is still attached. So those sandals will be forever undone.
Anyway, I love my Shanelle and the entire concept of Shadow High. As for the art vs the doll, the belt on the dress seems higher and the bodice seems longer in the art so maybe that's what was throwing you off.
I'm really glad this line is getting so much love. I was afraid only collectors would like them and MGA wouldn't continue it. Glad I was wrong.
Natasha’s skirt with shanelle’s gem top is a serve it looks so good! Shanelle’s skirt with heather’s corset and the jacket is a serve as well!

i got her (i wanted to buy heather too but now theres a month long wait lol)!!! genuinely one of the prettiest dolls ive ever seen. her monochrome colors dont blend together and make her look same-y and her hair came with very little gel so its not even necessary that i wash it out :)

I wasn't a fan of Shanelle at first, but she's really starting to grow on me. Her face is cute, and I love her dress and her black jacket.
I haven't grabbed any of the shadow high dolls yet myself but I'm definitely impressed with them and plan to grab at least Luna, Shanelle and Natasha - who surprised me in person with how lovely she is. There's just SO much to budget in right now and probably the rest of the year lol

The Shadow High dolls' designs remind me of old black and white movies (think The Lost World, Citizen Kane, Casablanca, the Universal Monster movies, or the original King Kong).
Shanelle, by far, is my favorite…. But I bought the whole line anyway!😂 I’m working on my second video on them now! 😉
I also live in Jersey and I have seen all the dolls except Shanelle. I don't want her (she is not the type of doll I collect) but I just want to see her in person because she really is a beautiful doll.

She is stunning. I was a bit...unsure of how the Shadow High dolls would look or work but they looks so beautiful! I love the almost monochromatic look here. The pops of white and grey really work. I am a lifelong member of Team A Bit Much so I loved the last look with the big ruffle skirt and the jacket with the dramatic shoulders and her lace socks.
These outfits are just too cute. You know they got you when you start thinking about how you would swap this outfit to that doll etc etc.

I fell in love with Shenelle when SH leaked. I knew I'd get her first! I got Ash too because he's the cutest RH/SH boys! As soon as she listed on Walmart website, I was on it! I have all the dolls. Shanelle and Nicole are my fav girls. I love this line so much! SH4 is coming soon and they're beautiful but Shenelle' breathtaking beauty isn't matched!
I LOVE THIS!!! I so appreciate you making this video. You are so right, you really do have to check out these dolls in person to make sure that the details are correct. There were several on the shelf when I was purchasing my Shanelle and I was able to choose the best one. Honestly, she and Nicole were the first RH dolls I purchased. They were just so striking. I recently ordered Monique Verbena from Amazon and held my breath. Luckily, she was gorgeous when she arrived. I was at Target before she arrived, and I was so tempted to buy one in case the one from Amazon had those tiny flaws. But, I waited, and she did not.

Hi Melissa, it took a couple weeks, but I have had all the Shadow high dolls for a week. Had to pinch myself figuratively a couple times. My faves are Heather and Shanelle, had to get another one of those two, 1 to play & 1 to display, 0f course. What the heck, I’m going to end up with doubles of them all. My 2 Shanelle’s are also lacking glitter at their eyes. I LOVE them regardless…. Right? Right! Thank you for introducing RH to me in 2021. And to many, many other series of dolls too. My fav of shadow high are Shanelle and natasha with the grey scale others..BUT Shanelle is my first love of these dolls. yeah i love the others with colors but shadow to me is white grey black ♡♡♡ i need all of these... and im not a doll person... UNTIL i watch you and other dolls channel... its your fault melissa! im more action figures but now i see dolls like they are action figures but deluxe... and i love it. Shadow high is my first love of dolls line/company... i love these colors ... i always be the weird one so... lol

I feel like shadow high brings a lot chaotic energy to the webisodes which is making it a lot more interesting than last season. I’m a little annoyed they just bypassed pacific high though because I just liked their vibes better.

The only thing I don't like about Shanelle is the sparkle on her face compared to the rest of the line that have matte skin. I really would've preferred a matte face for her as well.
I think the sparkle looks really good on her dark skin. Looks like a starry sky almost. Beautiful.
I really love her but I’m scared of some of the repaints I’ll see. I’ve seen some people joke bc her skin is literally black that they’ll be Jim Crow styled make up. But I’m praying the that doesn’t happen. Also because her name is onyx I think the layers in her dress are supposed to resemble a geode.

She’s my fav I still gotta unbox & review mine. I don’t have Nicole, Luna or Ash yet cause I know Series 4 is coming and I want Green, Orange, Yellow & Purple. I also want Monster High Frankie & Lagoona and possibly Draculaura which I heard release May 13th. I was so happy Shadow High released (well preorder) when Target had the $10 off & $25 off coupons. I plan to dye Natasha’s hair grey I really hate her 1st dress & shoes but she’s def my 2nd fav then Heather I do love that I got Heathers dress with more details. I expect lol omg will have dolls soon as well I’m so excited for the new larger Royal Bee & Swag not sure yet if I want Lady Diva I don’t have her original so I’m undecided on her. Also excited for Kicks & Figure 8 as well as Sketches & Melrose and series 3 tweens. Also those Barbie fancy extra dolls are 😘😘😘❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍👍😉🎉🤗 there’s a couple new mini extra I want as well especially the 1 with purple hair her outfit is so 80s/90s I love it.

everytime I tried to order any rainbow high doll it said it was in stock but when I place the order I get a email saying they are out of stock so I gave up on them I think these shadow high doll are creepy trying to rip off monster high
