The evening discourses were so amazing, I remember this one very much. Goenka had many examples/stories in store...
We often had so much laugh during the evening discourses that it was hard to go to sleep one hour later!

How strange you suddenly shifted in devotion from talking of doctor. But unfortunately in reality ur story is flop, i never saw a doctor being worshipped in alter. Foolish attempt to make us forget of God.
God is a sideways being. He doesn't come between us and us suffering. So Buddha teaching is not to neglect God, but working on to eradicate suffering being irrespective of God. ⏳✔💠
