Batman is a licensed NES video game adaptation of the 1989 Tim Burton movie of the same name. Here, the hero of Gotham City goes against the villains of Gotham City, the Joker and whatever unfortunate lackey that teams up with him. His fists are more powerful than any weapon in the world, but he rarely kills anyone. It's not like his enemies can hurt him anyway. After all, he's the hero, and heroes are supposed to be invincible. But let's not dwell on that and enjoy the excellent graphics and music by Sunsoft.
DreamYao ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/D... ) improves on the previous run by 7 frames due to a minor conveyor belt glitch on Stage 2-3.

The soundtrack for this game is great
Level 3 and 4 were my favorites. I still don't know how they could make songs both so blood-pumping and mournful at the same time.
the other kind of batman TAS
"Hey, Bill! I heard you ran in to Batman earlier!"
"Yeah, he shot me in the face with a rocket gun."
"Holy shit! Then what happened?!"
"I stopped moving for a half second."
INVULNERABILITY FRAMES MARK
Ah NES Batman, when he used a gun and actually killed someone.
The cogwheel animations on stage five are very very pretty
I like how this video lets us really savor that Batman logo at the very end there
This is how I imagine the real Batman taking care of business
Pretty much started the good run that Batman had in video games. One of the greatest NES games. And he'd have continued success, moreso than most other DC characters at least, or even superhero games in general. Only Spidey can rival Batman in having consistent good games.
the idea of Batman rocking up and giving the Joker the Hokuto Hyakaretsu Ken is extremely funny to me.
Alright, famous video game composer Naoki Kodaka, it's just a silly licensed Batman game. There is no need to go super hard.
Famous video game composer Naoki Kodaka:
Batman's guide for defeating jokers: Run up and punch him in the junk until he falls over.
This tactic can work on many other jokers too
Batman only gets hit by inanimate objects, punches giant machines to pieces, humans don't die easily, Batman freezes space and time to manipulate hits and also hops around ALOT and proceeds to punch the Joker to death all done over a bad ass 8 bit score. A+
You know…. Technically this is what happens when batman gets prep time…
Amazing Tas 😏👉👉
This looks like a decent platformer. Besides the character sprite, the batarangs, and the Joker, I cannot recognize anything else that is Batman.
But...this game is popular! It's good! I owned this game!
I'm not sure how to feel right now.
I played this game for hours upon hours as a kid got to joker multiple times and never beat him. Fantastic game
Отличный забег
woah Batman MURDER the Joker in the end lol
Man he was just so cool 1:10
Still no major shortcuts
кайф
9:06 the joker was hard
1:28 When TASers mock games by beating with music
You should see the splatterhouse dance.
Missed opportunity they didn't even try to use the first theme on any movie or new game for batman.
I wish every person who does TAS and make soundeffects that match the background music a world of happiness and love
lol i've actually beaten this game and didn't know that damaging an opponent takes away their hurt boxes
I don't remember any of this from the movie.
5:18 Wait a minute, how come he didn't took any damage touching these on the wall jump!??
I'm going to guess, wonky hitbox
you can complete this in 9 minutes
yet Sunsoft didn't break the game just to make it unplayable
like most western devs did
60% of the time
I liked the game I played it ❤❤❤❤
