Thanks for sharing a great film!
The greatest band ever
Wood obviously wasn't ready to give an example of a "pretty tricky" RS song. I mean, what's tricky about that chord in Honky Tonk Women?
IMHO, the trickiest thing about the Stones (and a whole bunch of others) is not what they play, but how they play it.
Quincy Micheal and Lionel setting there like they are better than thou 😂😂
Charlie always looked miserable until he was in a situation where he could show how quick witted he was, the man was hilarious, but you have to break into his inner circle to understand the man
Imo when he got to talking/interacting he became handsome looking and interesting. His drumming is underrated. He keeps time and makes their music sound good.
@@red-baitingswine8816Machine gun drumming.
Drumming on undercover of the night is awesome 😅

Hang Fire and Neighbors are two other songs he was great on!
2:25 awe struck
Keith spraying his hair at 28:40 and smoking. What great TV if he had gone up in flames.
These were very dark days for the stones ....yet you wouldn't think so by watching this
In what way, "dark"?
And did Mick call rock 'n Roll "cautious? Cautious in not being mainstream, or being mainstream enough to sell records and concert tickets?

@@dianeward5405 This was in the 'World War 3', when Mick was doing his solo stuff and wanted to ditch the Stones. He was at war with Keith and they weren't getting on at all. I think this was when Charlie was addicted to heroin, too. Plus, Keith hated their new album as it was shitty, he didn't like all the fluff on the tours. Basically, everyone was arguing and they needed a break.
We as fans see the story unfold with out any of the jam or stuffing. Pretty well only relying on carrier pigeons for our input of information and gossip on this very subject. I say timing in life is something that is out of our hands as individuals so as a group it's just that much more unpredictable. Mick wanted to go for broke in the mid to late 70s and definitely Keith reciprocated but didn't add to the creative pie and in the 80s along with the money of song writing checks started coming in like falling ripe apples in the middle of June. But a much clearer thinking along with the hunger for the game back in Richards blood wanting to go back on the road with fervor and to keep his time and frame of mind on the sort of straight and narrow didn't match up with the high and fast decisions that Mick was already doing with but now much more faster and important for the flash of the moment commitments for the past 12 or so years already. Plus at the end of the day being a catapiller in a petry jar expected to entertain on a daily basis daily basis with 5 different entities involved with the working engine can get clogged no matter iron and steel or the much complicated human element, at times they need some restoration.
Never saw it before, good one, good rythm and variations.
Strangely or not, Clapton forgot to name Mick Taylor between Brian and Ron.
Yep missed Mick T. Probably an oversight.
@@agentbillstoll6235 Or not :)
@@Methilde Yeah who knows. Mick J doesn't seem like someone that would forget Mick T but who knows. Clapton seems like someone that would forget/omit.
@@agentbillstoll6235 Well, the fact is maybe that Clapton couldn't give what Taylor realised with the Stones, just my opinion.
@@Methilde Gotcha. Clapton seems to be a dismissive person as a whole, JMHO.
They look friendly
Where am i gonna find a drummer like Charlie Watts....
Keef❤
Jane Rose!!!!
Interesting that just a couple years later, Bill became very adamant that it was Brian's band, and Brian's initial advertisement that started it all. Here he's being much more general about it, that they were all just there.
Charlie…. Work 5 years spend 20 hanging around 😂 nothing like a honest answer
Hard to believe Keith was only 42 here. He looks and sounds as if he was 55.
???
Even 56 possibility 57

A dozen some networks- all asking them the same few questions.
Hello, Rolling Stones Data
Do you still have the original files of this video recording ? I would like to restore the colours of it.
I will appreciate your help ! Thank you.
Sorry, no, this is all I have.
Wyman is a glue guy.
They are all thinking about themselves could not give a shit except Charlie just because they got doe

Poor Charlie is so painfully awkward 😮😮
They were never the same after Mick Taylor left, they’d lost a jewel in their crown. 42:20...No amount of prancing around can cover up a crap song.
Mick who?
I love them with or without Taylor. However, now that Charlie is gone, I can't watch or listen. Very difficult.
One Hit is the only good song on Dirty Work.
Hmmm, Clapton forget Mick Taylor, they was as best under those years he was a member.
He was reading a prepared statement by the trustees
And Stu
Never wrote anything truly original, almost a cover band for American black artists.
That's just insane and stupid
I can't wait for their new album
That’s just not true is it.
It's cool how they dug up "Harlem Shuffle"! The Beatles were also a good cover band. And also, like the Stones, productive song writers.
It doesn't matter
No mention of Mick Taylor...?? What BS!
