Actually Frankie valli and the four seasons wasn't the original four seasons. It was the four seasons but when it was just Frankie and some other people who weren't in the original band it was Frankie valli and the four seasons because there were four other people, none of which were in the original band

I remember seeing this in the theaters back in 2014 with my parents never having heard of the four seasons and loving it so much.There was so much emotion in this movie Frankie Valli went through some emotional roller coasters in his life and hardships.

just saw this movie and it was much better than i expected it to be. Solid film making and the ending was an unexpected surprise. Loved Clint Eastwoods sneaky little cameo too.
If you would have told somebody 40 years ago that Clint Eastwood would direct a movie-musical, they would have laughed in your face.
He was originally going to direct another musical starring Beyonce.
Clint Eastwood WAS IN a musical. Look up Paint Your Wagon; it's an old movie but he sang in it with his acting role. There's even a soundtrack for it

My gf and I both like their music and went to watch this together, everyone was old I felt young lol. I'm 18 and I love this band I've listen to them since I was little and it was one of the best movies I've seen I loved it!

the fact that there is a movie about a group from the early 60's and we have the show counting cars and people are starting to cruise again, and get into American Graffiti again gives me a little hope froe the future love the 50's! we need a remake of a movie about Buddy Holly! that shows how buddy holly really was
it is ridiculous how excited i am for this. yes, i am but 23 years old. saw the musical once live and can't get enough of it. i was seriously born in the wrong decade.

Please don't tell me I'm the only one who is very excited to see this movie. Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons music was so original and authentic I am so glad they made a movie about them and not just any director , Clint Eastwood ! You can tell it is going to be good !
This was one of the best movies I have seen and will ever see, and is definitely one I will never forget.
Saw this play about a year ago in Vegas, loved it. Nice to see some talent involved in this movie, I'm excited.
This movie brought tears to my eyes.. TWICE. It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, other than West Side Story. I love this movie with so much of my heart. Thank you, Mr. Eastwood for making a wonderful movie. Made me even love the Four Seasons. Please make more Broadway Musicals to movies, Eastwood. You do it justice.. I still need to see this on stage though ^^'

joshua parker I've never had a reason to go. I just waited until my friends bought the movie and watched it at their houses.
Don't worry....a lot of people do that since it's so cheap to rent movies now. We only go if it's a movie that we really want to see on a big screen. Other than that we wait till summer to go to the drive in. Two movies, one cheap ticket, and we bring our own food. 100 times better than any movie theater

I loved this movie! All the actors were great and their singing was incredible! John Lloyd Young who plays Frankie Valli definitely deserves an Oscar for his amazing performance.
My mother and her family grew up in Newark, New Jersey in the 60s as Sicilians and grew up with Frankie Valli's voice I can't be more proud of where I come from then I am now.

I NEED TO SEE THIS. I saw Jersey Boys on Broadway a year ago and I loved it. I'm so excited, ever since I saw that this was going to be made into a movie on the list of upcoming films on IMDB like, five months ago. God I'm so psyched!!
Watch this on Broadway and it was absolutely incredible! So glad the same actor that I watched is playing Valli - can just tell this movie is going to be awesome and can't wait for it to come out in the cinema!!!

Definitely going to see this. All of the good music was made in the 50's, 60's & 70's...a handful of good music in the 80's...after that, it all turned to shit. Always loved Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons.

Breathtaking trailer. It really grabs me at the end, at that last "ahhh" before the title was revealed. Beautiful stuff. I can't wait to see this movie. I usually dislike Eastwood's work, but this one is a definite watch, especially to hear those songs!!!!

Clint Eastwood have made a wonderful movie again, based on a true story. The actors explain their lives while they perform the movie. The last act is a masterwork that we used to see for those years.

I do not disagree, I just happen to thin that is is too early of a release for any serious consideration, unless there is a weak awards season. Because The Butler had a summer release and when that came out there was a ton of Oscar buzz for it and it got zero nominations. Although Clint's name does carry a lot of cache and that could make up for the summer release. Mostly I'm saying that I won't be surprised if this winds up in a situation like The Butler.

Saw it on Broadway, seeing it at the Theater as well. I give Clint props for finding the Broadway guys to play Valli and the Seasons. All because lately musical adaptations get actors to play the roles. Starting in 1996: Madonna as Evita, sucked as a movie. Madonna came no where near Patti Lupone nor did the supporting cast. Then in 2004 Phantom of the Opera; Good movie but the only flaw was Gerard Butler as the Phantom. The Phantom should have been Seth MacFarlane or Howard McGillin. Lately in 08 with Mama Mia: Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, and everyone else all sucked at vocaling.
My favorite song in the movie is what a night.😊😊😊

Alex McGillvrey I just hope it's good for now, lol. It's being directed by Rob Marshall who also directed Chicago and Nine, both of which I liked. Though he also last directed Pirates of the Caribbean 4, so I'm a bit nervous.
IngenFiles Well I really did loved Rob Marshal's Chicago, which was a great movie. Also remember the last Stephan Sondidam to be made into a feature film, which was Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd.
Another reason why I'm looking forward to Into the Woods because it's Disney's first ever adaptation of a Broadway musical and I think Into the Woods was the perfect choice because we all know Disney is all about fairy tales. And with the show original write writing the screenplay. hopefully this musical will be a million times better than that horrible animated remake of The King and I, which was nothing like the original Rodgers and Hammerstein classic.
