@@psychvision101 Seriously, man. The clarity is horrible. It's distorted/clipped hard and spiking 1khz out of every instrument to the point that they become chaotic at moments - like hearing trumpets through a megaphone. Upping the streaming fidelity isn't going to change it.
I've just listened to visions twice in a row. I have to say, the first song took me aback the first time hearing it cause it just started right away with vocals. But my take after hearing the album twice in a row is... It's fantastic. OK. To explain what I mean by that we have to go way back. Now, anyone whose a Norah Jones fan will know she's always going to sound great. However, one of the criticisms anyone who's "doesn't get" her would say, is that she could be a little bit, unambitious. Even long term fans have to accept there is a "grain" of truth to that in regard to Jones older music. [Don't get me wrong, I love the first 3 albums but... easy to fall asleep to is valid, even if for me and many other's that's a positive] Visions is not "like" that. And truth be told it's not like her previous newer albums too. I love Daybreaks, but it's identity as a return to Jazz, album, is clear. Pick me up off the floor, it has some great songs in there don't misunderstand, but it suffer's in places from not knowing what it wants to be. Visions however, knows what it is. It's a vivacious, colourful inventive true pop infused collection of thoughts that will keep you engaged with it from the moment it begins to the very final end. It's just so energetic and zingy I'm having to force myself to not go and play it again and likely annoy my neighbours. [it's near 12 at night where I live] I really hope this album does well because it really deserves to. And "Paradise" itself is just such a fun song.
