Oh YES 🙌 !!!

Pure, clear, sincere, modest, honest, what a voice, what a soul. Norah Jones is an angel. Voice from paradise.
Oui, il y a des moments comme ça qui font espérer en l'humanité...
I would love to 'HEAR her record a whole album of "Oldies but Goodies" whose lyrics have become mutilated through the years!
Can't say ENOUGH .She does put screaming into the mike and disrobing to shame, doesn't she ?
SIMPLICITY with honesty...Hope she never goes to perform in Hollyweird; well the Hollywood Bowl might be nice ?
One of those "types" of voices that could make you feel better, but just hearing her call you on the phone with it!!
Wonder which comes first to the listener; which came first, the song...or the singer ? this is one that presents the debate well.
The "song" has "become" synonymous with "her."

Always wondered why UT doesn't mention who wrote the song; only the singers and bands ' names show?
What a beautiful bed of guitar chord roses, on which to base the flowing feelings of a Nora Jones; Just beautiful...wonder which came first, Jesse---? the chords, then the melody, yes ?I think many bands and producers PUSHED many great singers through beautiful lyrics, just to meet their own goals. (Poor Patsy Cline comes to mind-pushed to sing COUNTRY when she had the feelings of a Nora Jones behind the lyrics!)
To those who claim to not "understand" the lyrics...Haven't you ever wondered why you procrastinated on a good deal, then thought about it later as having been a missed out on a good deal situation? Most humans have.

She now has a song called Paradise. From her 9th studio album, "Vision's". A departure for Jones in a way. But it sure is good, if a little different. A lot of the songs have a 70's era pop vibe but don't ask how I'd know, I'm an 80's child, so I shouldn't. But that's the vibe...
For me, this is the definition of happiness, peace, soul serenity, and the perfection of life...
I feel it... truly.
I totally agree, MrGoodintentions 😊
Bill FRISELL is a guitar monster 💙🤍❤🩹 FROM FRANCE
The band should be mentioned in the description, too:
Brian Blade - drums, vocals
Tony Scherr - bass, guitar, vocals
Bill Frisell - guitar
Jesse Harris - guitar
Oh Bill!
the drummer was amazing!
Exactly! Just went through the description cause I thought it looked like Brian Blade on drums! Amazing! :)
Yes. Absolutely fabulous.
I so want to write for her. And her band.
Right you are ! Thanks !
So its been twenty years since it first came out. So much life has passed by but the nemories of this album are still vivid. What an influence Norah Jones ❤
I feel the same way! One of those album that stays vivid forever timeless
This classy lady has it all; beauty, class, and raw soul. She literally calms my nerves listening to her smooth flawless music. Thanks Nora from Canada.

20 years has been incredibly kind to her. She sounds as great as ever! Kudos
Oh but that's the thing. She doesn't sound as great as she ever was... she sounds BETTER than she's ever been. Time has not just been kind, it's been GENEROUS. And long may that continue and long may we be blessed with more great music from Norah Jones.
I’m literally crying. I wish I could go back to my life to this time…Norah was my company in my most important moments, actually Norah was my company for many years. This album is a masterpiece and Norah the best singer ever.
a minha também também, Renatenha. quantas manhãs escutando todo little broken hearts, o dia já começava relaxado
I have a sneaky feeling we all do....😍 And of course, that handsome-est of bands❣
She really is. Hope you stop wishing going back in time and start enjoying the present :)
So good.
@@kevintamk Wow. Your comment hit hard. I was feeling the exact same way as her comment and then now somehow I feel so much more positive about my current place in life. Thank you. 🧡
This woman's voice and her ability to communicate a feeling is enchanting! Enchanting! Thank you Ms. Jones for delighting the world with your gift. And to those musicians who accompany you; my respects. What an absolute treat.
Music is so healing, from the first note. The first touch of the piano. The antithesis to the highly distracted, instant gratification culture of our day.
Soft, buttery, smooth, the build up, the crescendo. Don’t go anywhere, just sit.
exactly . well said.
Well said!
Time flies.
But your music would not fly away from my memory till I die.
I, 39 seconds in I am already reminded why I love this woman. Norah Jones. Never change. You are a true class act. One of the greatest musicians to ever live.
She personifies the WORD " CLASSIC"
She's sort of stopping the world temporarily, so a few of us can get off!

Norah is class personified. Nora and a glass of red!? You can’t go wrong.
white also good enough
@@user-wg3dx8br8i You ain’t lying! Even give me some Gatorade and a Nora concert and I’m good.
Bill Frisell, Tony Scherr, Brian Blade it is quite quite quite complementing band. Never realized they were all on original recording!
That unmistakable voice. Your artistry enriched us all. Artistically blessed are those of us who get to hear it. 👍👍🙏🙏
i allways come backto this.....thats how music should sound....it heals the soul...after a long day work ....and all the pain in life....thats what i need...thank you to all of you guys!!!
one of my colleges told me when she had a tough day, she'd put this album on and everything is better.
Norah Jones, please recruit these gentlemen for an album of any kind. I've watched this 7 times in the nine months it's been released and the art of communication is so beautiful in all sincerity. Your leadership shows in how you let each song breathe, letting each contributor make every moment seem natural and organic. It may sound cliche and cheesy, but thank you for sharing all of your gifts, but more importantly the thoughtfulness you all shared in each moment of this recording. Priceless.
I would highly suggest discovering the music of .....
Bill Frisell guitar
Tony Sherr bass
Brian Blade drums
@@SoundCastle00 Thank you. Yes, I have heard of these great musicians before; mostly Frisell and Blade, but I do know some works by Scherr. The interplay between them on this is incredible.
The thing is it depends on the music, and what it needs. Sure, you can ask, but it's like asking an impossible question. only the musician will know who and WHAT their music needs. As example, Brian Blade was a good fit for main drummer on Norah's 6th Studio album, Daybreaks. Furthermore, I must presume you are aware all of those musicians involved with this live recording, were involved with the album this is a celebration of? In this case, well, let's just say Norah's experienced enough to have a good handle on who she needs for any project she's doing.
Norah Jones is timeless, classy, love her bluesy style the is unique, she's an old soul, awesome!!!
Talk about old soul. How about her Dad! Ravi Shankar. What amazing roots she comes from.
yep!!! the dad! one of the producers to The Beatles

I bought the CD of Come Away with Me for my Daddy years ago. He loved your music. He is no longer with us. However, when I listen to your music I feel He is with me. Thank you!
Absolutely beautiful!! It has been my all time favorite from the first time I heard it and has remained until this day. This just took it up a notch. I didn’t think it could get any better but it just did. Thank you Nora for blessing us with your beautiful voice!

I love you Ms.Norah Jones .Thank you for the beautiful music. Happy 20th anniversary of the Album Come Away with Me .❤️
Thank you, Norah! That was a beautiful performance! Everything from the soundmix to the videomix and camera angles, and of course the performance was perfect! You made all of us watching from youtube and chatting in the chatbox feel like we were all in the room with you together. So much nostalgia and positive energy! Can't wait to get the vinyl of the 20th Anniversary Edition and see you in Napa!
I was homeless, got into drugs, went into prisons, then i got to know Jesus, He changed my life.. Now i have a home, a wife, a lovely daughter and a new identity... A child of God.. Hallelujah
I'm extremely happy for you.. God bless you and your family...❤❤❤
You joined a cult so you can spam the Internet.
I have so many things to say about this disk and this concert, but, I can't. Just can't find the right words, and the only thing that I can say it's: Thank You Norah. From the deep of my heart, thanks for your music.
I am listening from Japan. You are a wonderful and irreplaceable artist to me. Thank you for your inspiration. I will always love you.

I am watching her in Budokan the coming October
I remember seeing Nora on ‘Later with Jools’ on TV here in England. I went out and bought the CD the next day, saw Nora live and met her. Was it really 20 years ago? Thanks for being you and for your music..🙏🌞☯️🌻🇬🇧🙏28.4.22.
Norah, thank you for being there during the pandemic. At 70, I'm single and have my kids far away. You were the marvelous company that made things a lot easier! Greetings from Mexico to ya'll!
This version of, "Come Away With Me" is pure magic. (APPLAUSE APPLAUSE) to each musician. Just the fact she puts a Hank Williams tune on here, speaks volumes.
Classic Music and a classic Lady. The way she acknowledges each band member with that look. Majic
It was a great album, it's been with me all this years. But now it sounds even better, more mature, like a good old red wine.
I just discovered this yesterday! What a gift! Thank you Nora!
i just found i today; bad weather and stress; she is an angel of the jazz ladies calming my tired being. cheers from canada.
The great part about this music is that it's good for going to sleep by and entertaining, too!
I missed the live but I can watch this as many times as I want so I’m happy
I wish I could give a round of applause after every song this was amazing
Plus you get a commercial right in the middle of every song as a bonus.
You can tell when musicians love playing with each. They’re having fun.
BEAUTIFUL 🎉❤😊. SMILE 😀
Lovely as ever.❤
Time flies. I remember that when that magnificent CD was released the world really needed it. 2001 and the following years were not gentle with peaceful hearts. "Come away with me" arrived as a musical balm for the souls. And it still is.
"Come away with me" ends way too soon. This could be edited to a double wide song easy and there'd be no nay sayers.
Hello Norah! I’m an 18 year old student from Korea. When I lived in the U.S, my mom used to turn on her favorite songs and shared them with me. And among them your songs were always her number one picks. However, I was too young to understand how beautiful your songs were. But time passed and I got the chance to listen to your song Don’t know why” and all my old memories came back to me. I was so stunned by your voice and how it made me feel so relieved. Ever since that day, you’ve become my favorite singer and I’ve been listening to your albums whenever I felt lost. And now that it’s the 20th anniversary for my favorite album, I had to come and celebrate. Congratulations and thank you for everything!!
Un regalo exquisito y maravilloso para los que amamos la música. Una dulce y perfecta interpretación de cada canción. Un saludo desde Costa Rica. Muchas Gracias Norah Jones
Last person you'd expect to listen now biggest fan. Thank You
Norah is truly one of the very, very best. Her voice, emotion, precision, and how she touches every key on the piano would make her exceptional even if she were just playing solo. Her style of music has multiple genre influences and is truly her own. She is so unique. But bringing all that into an ensemble brings her into the stratosphere.
She surrounds herself with amazing talent. I've become very sensitive to listening to phrases and chord progressions and hers are just amazing. Enthralling. She uses those magical transition jazz chords right in the perfect spots better than I've heard anyone do. I mean it's just perfection.
I'll probably have to listen again because with her as with many artists, sometimes I'm so caught up in listening to the intricacies of the music e.g. (instrumentation, rhythm/groove, chord progressions etc.) that I can't giving full attention to the poetry of the lyrics. Perfect 10
I'm crying watching this. I love you Norah. Real love.
What I wouldn't give to be in that room. She is an immeasurable gift.
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE
Can't believe it's 20 years already!! Thank you for this album..💕

I love that the voice is supported by the instruments not the other way....she has the voice. Love Norah
Love it. This performance should be released as an album.
some of the tracks are on the Come Away WIth me Anniversary Edition. But wish this were released on bluray or digital download. Love this session...
This album was like a warm blanket in difficult times. So much love for Norah.
This video needs a Super Loved It button! My ears are very happy! :o)
I didn't realize how much I needed this. The nostalgia has swept me away... What a gorgeous album.
Thank you, so much, for sharing this.
Nora - your voice has aged like a fine wine. What an amazing session. For a vocalist, there is nothing to compare to a trio of drums, bass, and keys - except when a superlative guitarist is added. What a treat to be able to listen to this re-interpretation. ❣️🙏🏼👏🙏🏼❣️

I have been listening to your music ,but can't believe it is 20years thank so much😁
It's been just over a year since my best friend of 54 years was murdered, and we adored listening to Norah sitting on the couch drinking a bottle of wine and catching up. Talking about her concert we got to see. Blasting a few on the Bose as the windows shake and talk about past loves. She would have loved this. I hope you can hear it up there wherever the wind blew your soul. Things that make your heart pound are the reasons we cherish memories.
Your album Come Away With Me was my university music. Over many late nights your voice got me through writing up my thesis till the early morning. Whenever I hear songs from the album I’m back in that familiar zone of peace. Thank you for making beautiful music.
Norah is a classic. This album is a classic. Having Bill Frisell on guitar is a perfect complement to her -- great choice. Thanks Bill! Thanks Norah!!
Thank you, Norah. Greetings from Brazil. Fantastic performance.
2023!! Timeless!! Currently my fave vocal lesson tune #comeawaywithme ❤ than u NJ 🙌🏼
Nora personifies the WORD " CLASSIC"
She's sort of stopping the world temporarily, so a few of us can get off!

I'm Just IN LOVE WITH ALL OF NORAH JONES MUSIC 🎵🎶🎵🎶 & HER VOICE IS SO SULTRY & ROMANTIC, PEACEFUL , SOOTHING TO THE SOUL😊😊
This was wonderful, I enjoyed every every moment of the live performance. Both Norah and her band were brilliant.
This has to be one of the most influential vocal jazz album, solidifying Norah as the true legend she is. Her voice takes you places, breaks your heart, cries with you and console you at the same time. Incredible. Just incredible.
what LP is this, please?
@@susanpayne4225 lmao... It's Come Away With Me...
Is it me or does this sound even better than before? Norah, you haven't lost a thing girl! I could swear you sound better!
Working and listening to those Masterpieces! Norah Jones, you are the Best Ever!!!!
Bill! You are a living legend! Great album. Great performance.
A breath of fresh air, every time we play this remarkle set of music. Thank you Norah Jones, and ensseble, and crew.
Come Away With Me, is a gift that keeps on giving.
I remember sitting right in front of Norah in a concert, people were moaning with love and joy, she was so vulnerably present, laughing, chuckling, at the sounds people were making as she sang, ♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️ love you Norah, you carried me along for several years with your beautiful grace and ease
One benefit of being in the "cheap seats" the two times I saw her live, believe me, I wanted better seats. But then, she can't hear me bawl like a little baby, cause of her?
From his Muse, Michelle: The 'Artist' is sleeping and all I can do since I started listening to The Great Norah Jones here 'n now, is make sure he listens to this as soon as wakes up. She makes you feel what you wish you could express. And so we continue, hopefully, to inspire and be inspired...To be able to, hopefully create from these deep wounds that true artists are doomed to and destined to 'feel'. When I 'feel' the comments I've read today, I see one more beautiful artist after another getting 'inspired'. You are all so beautiful...I love watching each one of you... coming out of 'life's cocoons' and letting your Colors Fly in a way that only YOU can do! ❤🩹❣😿💔❤😺💌
Many listeners crank up songs to make them ignore their feelings; Some aren't afraid to HEAR their feelings?
Nora personifies the WORD " CLASSIC"-easy to hear the Gershwin in there in places too.

So generous of you to post these time stamps.
Long time fan, 20 years apparently. Wow! This never gets old. Love and adoration ❤️
Very nice!, I forgot how good and relaxing her music was/still is 🙂
This is sooooo good. I almost feel guilty watching it without paying Norah something.
On the contrary, I feel very comfortable.
The amount of adds happening mid song is enough to give her a few bucks haha.
@@thewolson220 Who's willing to have their time wasted by adds? Beside which, I'd wager the anniversary sales have been quite substantial. As in via CD and Vinyl editions of the 20th anniversary box set editions of CAWM. TOTALLY worth getting I must add. [I love that box set so]

Quel plaisir de retrouver Norah avec cette interprétation que j’ai entendu lors d’un concert à Marseille en 2002 💖
Such a beautiful touching album, then and now. My how we've grown, collectively! Thank you 😊
This album was my twenties. How I define my youth. thanks norah jones!
I came back to this to calm me down from anxiety. Thank you!!!
This was the most perfect way to start my day this morning. Norah Jones is incomparable, brilliant voice, brilliant performer, brilliant band and the mix was amazing. Can’t wait to see you on tour this summer. Please release this session digitally!
Absolutely sublime! I too would like a digital copy of this performance. Vinyl would be better, but why not both? :)
both please!
Thank you for performing my absolute FAVORITE album by you, Norah!❤❤❤
I could listen to the entire Come Away With Me album all day long. It gets me through my shifts while working from home, and it brings back so many memories from when my children were babies because I used to sing your songs to them while they were in utero and when they were babies. You are such a talented lady. Keep up the amazing work!❤☮🙂
Norah and her tunes got me through a lot of hard times...never got over them, but she made it easier day by day ❤
I love Norah Jones, as a performer. She really gives justice to jazz music, one of my favorite ❤
Best and God bless!
