The deal with Katt blew my mind because I watch all of these guys and had thought to myself that some of them weren’t funny and Joe was just keeping them alive (mainly talking about ari) and to hear him say it out loud kinda put everything in perspective
Ari is a gatekeeper for younger comics and has helped heaps of better comics get noticed. I'm not a huge fan and didn't like him in the Rogan days but this opinion is kind of stupid unless you aren't aware that he has been one of the most popular podcast guests on the gas digital station and helping others get noticed?
It's not all that...at all. These guys are his friends first and foremost. Sometimes it's just simple shit. Joe didn't seek out the best comedians...but his friends.

But yeah it was a number off the top of his head, when your ranting for minutes upon minutes numbers do get a little skewed, but he did hit the sweet spot. He was imo more focusing on his real rival Kevin Hart who spoke about this on the breakfast club calling out Katt Williams for not going to his promotions and not showing up to work. It seems like other than the one quote about Joe Rogan promoting his unfunny friends was all I could really see was directed at Joe and his group of friends. Seriously though…I love your videos.

Schultz is not a part of that group. That would be Segura, Kreischer, Redban, the kill Tony guy, Ari, Trussell, Callen…they guys who are Rogan or have Rogan on theirs several times a year. Or tour/hang together

I don't know about you, but if you can remember word for word your last 10 conversations with your closest friends or even your parents I bet you cappin. The ability to have the internet to dig up the audio/video of those conversations and back his words is unreal to watch unfold. Mans on a mission and did it on a level I have never seen before. Dude truly is savant level with words and retainment of history.

Comic View was my second favorite comedy show right after stand up, stand up on Comedy Central. Between those two, you were up on a lot of current comedy. Plus, Carribean Rythms with my girl Rachel came on right after CV.
People are reading into this way too much...Katt could have said any number, but people are out here thinking it was a specific number meant to be pinned on exactly that amount of people...he was just making a point that some of Joe's friends have been elevated by their involvement with Rogan's podcast and their friendship...

They care if he disapproves, he's one of the greatest comedians of his generation. I have no doubt that many of the people he was punching down at look up to him in a big way. It's a sad thing to see.

Yea that is Katt Williams entire point. These guys are all very funny on their pods but they suck at standup, If you catch them doing 15 on a showcase I'm sure it's hilarious. But no one in the Rogansphere has a good special in recent history, with the exception of Gillis, and Normand to a certain degree.
