Dad do what they have to keep little people happy and am with you on the tablet, mine will live on it if I don’t stop them they will go all day. They need to see the world and understand it. Great that you are showing your daughters the trucking world and what dad has to do, for them to have what they have. Kids need to see what parents do for a living so they understand what is involved in life even from a young age. Great video looking forward to more.
Agreed. Me and my Brother work together with my Dad
I remember travelling all over Britain with my father, delivering firstly timber products and in later years he drove a Glass delivery truck. We saw lots of England and Wales from the Passenger seat of an HGV.
Mate you are a good dad… you cared about your child to get rest… good decision…👍… I would do the same.. got dads always put children first… after all they are one of the reasons we work hard
Bought back happy memories of me and my brother getting up early with my dad and going in his lorry in the 70’s no seat belts and sitting on the engine in the middle feet against the windscreen 🤣🤣 not sure how I got to 52 😃👍
Nice to have your young boss with you on this one. Amazing how tight these builders yards are for deliveries. Thanks for a very good video. Stay safe and take care.

Great to have your family along, to see how Daddy works his job.
I remember taking two grand daughters with me, slept all the way there, got a sausage roll each, and spent an hour vacing cab out, happy days, stay safe
In the days before satnavs, I used to take my daughters to work. They're unusual among their generation now as they can actually read a map! Used to fight over who was not going to have to read the A-Z for me!!!!
This takes me back to going with my dad in the holidays...loved it. Great content as always
My Son is nearly nine and the moody conversations you have with your daughter remind me of those I have with him. One minute you can't shut him up and the next he turns into a sullen teenager.
Cracking video Luke, good to see you have the boss with you! Nice that you finished early for her and an early start for you on Monday! Dads and daughters eh!! Keep on trucking and keep safe! 😀🚛
Just received my copy of HGV drivers manual on your recommendation. Have to say so far very impressed, lots of info a must have for new and experienced drivers. Thanks Luke
"OK Bye" 😉 Lexi was a lucky charm for you Luke, empty yards, quick unloads and the Oxford TP guys doing you a solid.
Absolutely loved school holidays in the truck with my dad fantastic days
Why no name on this truck Luke
Excellent Luke..Great experience for the young one being a father of 7..Enjoyed the video chap
My dogs are sitting barking at the nodding dog on the dash 🤣
Enjoying the vid so far. Lovely to see children come to work with their parents. She may get a liking for lorry driving, or not!!🤣🤣🤣
Hi Luke, the Mother in law just had the floppy eye lid operation, all went well, the worst be was the local anaesthetic. My Nephews dog is called Lexie 😄. Your video brought back memories of my many days out with my Dad in his truck in the 60's and 70's, no mobile phones to play with then but I made a big list of truckes I'd spotted. 👍
Used to love taking my daughter to work with me, if i had to work a bit later to save time the next day or week the bribe of "where do you want to get food from on the way home?" used to work nicely.
Love the videos and the varied content, destinations and your general chit-chat make great entertainment.
Stay safe and take care.
I'm over in Canada, but hazarding a guess, it appeared that H+H produces lumber products of some sort? I'm thinking all that smoke may have just been steam, as steam kilns are often used to dry wood.
I’m the totally opposite to your daughter when I go with my dad my phone first in the draw and only comes out for pictures and videos
Another great video Luke 🎉and your daughter is so beautiful she is the image of her dad ❤ all the best Luke to you and your family love your content buddy so much so I want to do my HGV now ❤
Hey Luke, another great video. I got my sunglasses from M&M Direct for £20. Superdry ones and they're probably the best and strongest pair I've ever bought lol 😆
reminds me of when I used to go with my dad on a Saturday in his horse transport truck to the races.
Great video luke
Sick video luke! As a fellow garden centre worker I fully know what John Innes is no1, 2, and 3 is. Think in the upcoming years it’ll get phased out of sales as peat is harmful (to my knowledge).
we loved seeing lexey she is a credit too you both xxxxxx
11:54 - I'm sure you was meant to say 'He was turning LEFT into the garden centre"? 😂
Another great vlog Luke 👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome video buddy nice to see you and your girl with you buddy from Alan in Lowestoft
Hi luke great video again keep trucking mate
You did the right thing. Do what your little girl tells you. Homeward bound.
Thank you 👍👍
So, any other driver who is not LUKECINAHGV can foxtrot Oscar if they want to get unloaded. Thanks for nowt, TP!!
Nothing to do with the CZcams mate. It’s all about building rapport. I’ve delivered to this particular store plenty of times during my career and we’ve spoken about many topics including what our kids get up to for hobbies.
If you’re a decent driver who likes to interact and look after their product and talk to the forklift drivers, of course they’re more likely to tip you AFTER they normally stop.
i really like the dog never seen that kind if dog for a truck😂👍👍
Introduce Lexxi to strap winding techniques?
I don't understand how car drivers want to 'get out before the lorry comes', but, especially in a town or city where everyone has to do a speed limit. I don't mind waiting for lorries to pass because at the end of the day we all have to do that 30 limit.
Probably because then they can't speed
ur wee daughter is so funny and classic u should bring her more when u get a run home
I’m having the same problems with my right eye but not the long eye lashes. They have told me I have floppy eyelids too. They also want me to be tested for sleep apnoea. I really don’t think I have that. I have now been to see two different Drs about it one said the same as yours about a nip and tuck. The other said no not at this moment whatever that means. Been going on for a couple of years now.
Hope you get yours sorted soon.
Happy trucking dude catch up with you down the road. 👁️👁️👍
Yeah, I’ve been tested for sleep apnoea. They said it’s moderate, but not severe. I will be getting a mask in the next few weeks to try out just to see if that helps with the eye. Otherwise the doctor said I wouldn’t need it.
Important, to note that there are two types of sleep apnoea . Sleep apnoea with sleepiness during the day and sleep apnoea without sleepiness during the day.
I am wide-awake and alert all day and don’t feel tired . Even when I come home and sit down on the sofa, I don’t fall asleep. I don’t have any naps during the day or anything like that.
Blimey, there wasn’t a block of flats on the corner when I last delivered to Lawsons in New Malden!
A very good Sunday evening to you all
Big hi from Australia 🇦🇺🥇🦘 👍
😂 your daughter is funny. Tell you to load up Monday morning😂
Another great video
I'm from a place called west malling and drive to sevenoaks everyday on the route you did on this vid!
I think i have the same condition as you because mine grow down and into my eye aswel and it really is a pain to deal with every day.
She looks so much like you!
One question about lighting: when maneuvering, aren't the beacons enough? Does putting the hazards on at the same time have any meaning?
@9:46 she looks like my daughter did when she was on her phone. I dont even think she knew i was there lol
as to the sun glasses have you heard of ZEISS. ??? they are the BEST
That can’t be your daughter; she’s much too pretty! 🤭🤣🤣
Seriously though, how lovely to be able take her with you so that she can see and experience what you do when you’re away from home. Great to see. 👍👍
Hi Luke I’m just starting out on my class 1 and was wondering what satnav you use
Could call the dog Bob 😊
What sunglasses you wearing Luke? 😂😂
what sunglasses do u wear
most receivers if you give them enough notice they will accept a late delievery,, dont just turn up late and expect to be unloaded
Very much 50/50 I find. I’ve called up before and asked and I’ve been told outright don’t even bother. Turned up anyway and they’ll say well we did tell you.
Other times you can turn up and they’ll just say go on then seeing as you’re here.
Depends on the place you’re going, what you’re offloading and evidently who the driver is.
You know 10 year olds can't drive trucks, you can't use this as a work escape route
Morning Luke
How did your company get permission from insurance to take youngster as a passenger ??? Every company I've worked at won't allow this
No idea.
👍
how's the owner driver journey going Luke😀👍
hes not owner driver
Family home first next year and then owner driver :)
@@eddiecross689 there's a video saying " on the the road to being an owner operator" just wanted a update on that
Can’t love a nodding dog. Remember when you are about on your own the nodding dog is part of the family
How does insurance work with kids in the cab
No idea. I asked if she could come and the answer is yes.
Your have the nodding dog, what are you going to call it. You do know we expect it see in future videos.
Just curious, why wouldn't they have tipped you? Do they lack the storage space or what? What happens if they refuse to tip you?
Because they go home at 5 o’clock. Most places don’t take deliveries after 4 o’clock.
It was also a Friday
Worst case scenario, they refuse to take me and I would’ve given back to the yard anyway . I then reattempted on Monday morning.
Luke c 2022 “I like boobies” I think everyone does mate 😂👍
Did I see you earlier off the m4 on the a329 slip road? I wouldn't of looked twice if you weren't standing behind your trailer, hope you weren't held up long.
Yeah that was my mate look forward to seeing that in a upcoming video! 😂
In fact, it will probably be this weekend
I used to watch your videos when you first started, the first one would have been how much the licence costs and I used that as a guide right up to when I passed back in April this year!
Last week I watched your review on the sat nav that I bought and then saw you within my first 1000 miles of using it.
I'll be looking for the video from yesterday for sure.
A massive thanks from me for all the information you've put out there.
What would’ve happened? If they didn’t take your load I mean usually you stay out but would you do that with your daughter? As well
Na it was a Friday. I’d of been going home mate regardless😂 with or without the truck and trailer.
@@lukecinahgv
Haha 😂 😂
Sounds like a plan 👍
When is it my turn in the truck?

Hi Luke, I'm 18 years old currently working at mcdonalds and don't really know what I want to do with my career, I thought I would enjoy lorry driving because I really enjoy my own company and think it would help boost my confidence, do you have any advice for someone my age who's a bit lost with where they want to go. thank you, your videos are inspirational.
I'm 19 years old. Passed my class 1 when I was 18 and I'm starting my first HGV job on the 21st. If you don't know what you want to do. Id say go for it. Better than working at maccies and you'll earn more. You'll easily make back the cost of training if you decide it's not for you. And in the future if you choose a different career other than HGV driving you will have something to fall back on just incase.
@@ThePilotWhoCantFly yeah, that's what I'm thinking, I feel as if I have nothing to lose if I give it a go, How did you get over the anxiety of Learning to drive a lorry, that's one of the things I'm quite nervous about. Thank you for taking the time to advise me, much appreciated.
@@taylorpreston8502 well I don't think I ever really had anxiety, I was more excited :). It was a bit stressful at first sure but I just kept on going and passed first try. Might sound a bit silly but I used to have a steering wheel and play a simulator called euro truck simulator 2. I think that helped me understand how a truck would behave under certain conditions and that sort of gave me a head start to what I could expect. If you're really unsure on if it's the right thing to do maybe call up some training companies and see if they would let you "experience" it and drive around for a day and see what it like before paying for full training.
@@taylorpreston8502 you would still have to get your medical + provisional to try out trucking. In terms of the work, it carries more responsibility and sometimes stress depending on the type of work. Could be as easy as dropping and swapping trailers from one large depot to another. Or, you could be delivering to small business with little to no manoeuvering space and you have to manually unload everything your self.
@@ThePilotWhoCantFly Thanks for your great advice, ill join r/uktrucking, Good luck with your Job. I Really appreciate your time and advice.
Luke your daughter looks like u 😂😂😂
What happens with insurance with taking the wee one out with you?
She has life insurance. With regards to Trucker insurance, I asked and got permission so all good on that front
@@lukecinahgv that’s great good to know for the future I’ve been watching you a lot as I’m looking to start my class 2 training soon
Gas man mate “I like boobies “ 😂😂
She will see how hard Daddy works Luke
Tough I would have not given your daughter the choice . That's why I didn't have kids lol my misses already had 3 before me met wouldn't have wanted to get up that early Monday morning.
no 🤣
Hope your second man is on min wage
Hi luke they now you on CZcams and if they don't they now they will get a bad name.
What happening with the race????
Lewis for the win
why dont you trim your eye lashes??
They grow back. I get them epilated regularly
You do you are your kids pee if there is no toilet around
She’s 10 years old and can hold her bladder mate 😂 that being said, there are toilets at collection points, but also delivery points. Also there are services en route
