So many entrepreneurs come on the show and say “the reason we’re here is mainly to have a shark on our team”. And then they offer like 1% equity for $500,000. Off of mild sales. One of the few very genuine requests. They seriously meant what they said what they wanted

I respect them greatly. They know they can be a million dollar business if they get a deal but they don’t act like their a million dollar business when pitching.
It used to be more like that in the beginning. People seemed to be there to get a deal and actually want help. Now people just use Shark Tank as a platform for advertisement and the deals are usually ridiculous.
