Hasan is totally correct, being right wing/conservative and being a One Piece fan is an oxymoron. Like to the point that if someone tells me they're a OP fan I feel like that says alot about you as a person and we could probably be cool just in general. Love the OP community.
I'm a fan and Christian. Op tells me a lot about Eastern culture, paganism as the government like most near to far east governments of the past had these kinds of god king governments. The lense of politics is so narrow and doesn't even look at the different variations of right wing in the past you would not recognize as Hinduism which this is based on is completely different than the Egyptian model of conservatism as this stems from different family structures. I just look at op as an exaggerated view into an alternative past where Hinduism is true and people have the power to claim they're gods and might makes right but their limited view of completeness is their downfall when a monkey pulls up. Ironically these cultures with more communist pasts in the east have rather similar leanings to a doflamingo, or crocodile except with portraits everywhere, if there was a power system tied to blood, breathe and life I think it would be considered public property and stolen. The point of op is balance, not anarchy, not tyranny but freedom with people being taken care of who don't choose the hard life of the seas. It would not be ok with what would amount to stealing haki if in universe and it wouldn't endorse might makes right. My theory is the op is related to a complete smile which is related to haki and that ties things together for the end.
It's really not. Wano is a shogunate, Alabasta, FMI, Drum and Dressrosa are kingdoms, Water Seven kinda looks like your typical democracy but there doesn't seem to be any dissent and Iceberg basically acts as a benevolent king, the only actual globalist power and representative democracy in OP is the world government, which is portrayed as corrupt, and the only ideal that comes close to the social modern left in OP is Big Mom's.
One Piece talks about freedom from the tyranny/government which is more popular with right wing… Not to mention a lot of OP fans are from Asia/Europe where it’s massively conservative

Like you simp for big corporations and oppressive systems for your own well being, but you care for the navi? or the stars wars' resistance?
All communist regimes are oppressive systems. They're some of the most oppressive, in fact, being authoritarian regimes. Meaning that by your own logic, One Piece should be right-wing instead
a lot of the mainstream one piece content creators unfortunately think one piece is unironically right wing. They purposely twist the narrative to fit their agenda and promote it to their audience.
Luffy: I don't want to be a hero, I just want to make a world where everyone can eat good food whenever they want and without worry Some moron: this is clearly a right wing ideal
@@GuacJohnson op is about balance and is based on Hinduism which predates communism by a little bit. They don't want anarchy which is blackbeard who ironically steals people's ability, and is a taker of women which sounds familiar to an anime version if pure envy and covetousness put on screen. Wanting to take from others at any cost and coveting money and women by nature cannot be separated. Morj did a video on op politics being not monolithic as the seas are where pirates roam willing to die for freedom but luffy wants those who choose not to do so to have equality for them. Not everyone wants or needs the same thing. If you look at something based on a 4000 yr old religion and assume it's endorsing a modern, incomplete system that causes the problems of starvation and people claiming to be deities like the celestials you need to expand your view of history, read myths. See what the non 21st century man thought in different places. I promise they weren't arguing about gdp and if a man's daughter is private or public property. The Greeks would be a good start as their art, myths and culture expanded far. Human history is deep and wide, most things in the last 150 yrs are interesting bit it's rather stable and not as dynamic as the rest of history and doesn't give a deep well to ponder on.
Tbf, the navy isn't entirely corrupt... or at least isn't entirely "the bad guy." Yes there's lots of corruption, but most of it is in the world government side. From Luffy's perspective, the navy is the bad guy full stop. And since Luffy is clearly a good guy, it also makes us think the navy is bad by default. But remember that most pirates aren't like Luffy. Most of them are awful. In fact, I'd say that there are more bad pirates than there are bad marines, 100%. And for the average citizen, the navy protects them from those bad pirates. And most citizens aren't going to encounter those bad marines, much less Ohara level corrupt shit. So to the common people, the navy are the good guys.
8:58 - "pirates in general [were low-key based and left-pilled], I mean except for the ones that betrayed their abolitionist roots, like Blackbeard, fuck that guy" Heh heh heh... Oda-level foreshadowing, but completely on accident.
Funnily enough, I think right now, Nami beats Robin straight. No problem. Mirage tempo to counter her seeing where to use her Fleur, cause Nami can go Full Invisible now, then any lighting attack and she is done. There's not much Robin can do to counter Zeus. Maybe if you make the argument that Demonio Fleur can make her entire skin bone-y or something (given she can grow horns, so maybe she can, who knows right now), but still...

Ussop’s sniper king arch put him higher than Sanji for me I love Ussop so much. Zoro is still number 1 tho
I don't love or hate Hasan, but I'm very invested in these One Piece updates.
I don’t know how far into one piece hasan is right now, but once he gets to impel down arc. He will start to like buggy
Thx
Nami is fire later though, for a non haki user she packs a punch.
Oh my god the zoro and sanji subtitles! 🔥
One piece is as leftwing as it gets, but that doesn't stop right reactionaries to like anime. It's like the same for stars wars and things even more recent like avatar.
That's what I'm saying, hate this guy but I'm pretty invested in his one piece journey now
He’s right about one piece being more left sided story
Doesnt like buggy...lol
a lot of the mainstream one piece content creators unfortunately think one piece is unironically right wing. They purposely twist the narrative to fit their agenda and promote it to their audience.
Luffy: I don't want to be a hero, I just want to make a world where everyone can eat good food whenever they want and without worry
Some moron: this is clearly a right wing ideal
Huge one piece fan. Im one of the those haters simply because he doesnt know what hes talking about when he goes on fresh and fif
I find it hilarious that so many people don't like Has but like the one piece content. (Me included)
I think i like him now
Tbf, the navy isn't entirely corrupt... or at least isn't entirely "the bad guy." Yes there's lots of corruption, but most of it is in the world government side.
8:58 - "pirates in general [were low-key based and left-pilled], I mean except for the ones that betrayed their abolitionist roots, like Blackbeard, fuck that guy"
Heh heh heh... Oda-level foreshadowing, but completely on accident.
Hasan is like nami a strong independent woman
thats more like Robin though
8:57 right wingers when they get to impel down: 😮
He’s going to love Nico Robin I’m wano
Funnily enough, I think right now, Nami beats Robin straight. No problem. Mirage tempo to counter her seeing where to use her Fleur, cause Nami can go Full Invisible now, then any lighting attack and she is done.
There's not much Robin can do to counter Zeus. Maybe if you make the argument that Demonio Fleur can make her entire skin bone-y or something (given she can grow horns, so maybe she can, who knows right now), but still...
Am I high asf or is this a guy just watching himself talk
