I keep hearing reports about how different things are now today and how the younger people do not understand, I have to tell you there is no need to worry about the kids of today, I know a little boy called Rafferty (named after the famous blind poet) who is 18 months old and he loves the great Rory Gallagher's music. Those are Rafferty daily record requests which he has to listen 3 times each and every day 1st thing about 6,30am, following at his dinner break at 12 Noon and again at about out 7pm before he goes to bed for his night sleep first up is Shadow Play, Shin Kicker, Tattoo'd Lady, Cradle Rock, Bull Frog Blues. Who's that Coming, Too Much Alcohol from Irish Tour 74, Wayward Child, Bad Penny, He then likes to slow things down with the following tunes Crest Of a Wave, Daughter of the Everglades then finishes off with As the Crow Flies, Out on the Western Plain and finally Going to My Hometown then it is down for a good nights sleep until is all kicks off early the following morning.
Around the time this was filmed many acts would not play in Northern Ireland because of the political turbulence and concerns for their safety. Rory Gallagher was one of a select few who did play in Northern Ireland.

Aquí el brillante tecladista en una performance en todo su talento en el Irish tour donde pasó a la inmortalidad (1974). Murió en el hospital de Bournemouth, Dorset un 17 de agosto del 2012.
