Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel at the Louvre in Paris, France

Enjoy a 360 degree view of the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel at the Louvre in Paris, France. We go around it, through it, and around it again! What can you spot new each time?!
This arc is not to be confused with the larger Arc de Triomphe, even though you can see it from here. This was the first arc Napolean had commissioned, but when it was finished, in true Napolean fashion, he felt it wasn't large enough, and that's when he commissioned the larger Arc de Triomphe. He wanted his soldiers to ride through it in victory. Sadly, he did ride through it, but it was after he had died.
Finally, on either side of the petite Arc de Triomphe, there are two underground entrances to the Louvre. We highly recommend these entrances during rainy or cold weather, or when the lines at the pyramid are long.
