Taylor Swift Paris Eras Tour - Getting to La Defense Arena from Paris
Two very important things about this video first! If you're coming to see the Taylor Swift Eras Tour in Paris and are wondering how to get to the concert at the La Defense Arena from Paris via Metro or RER, this video will show you how! Second, we greatly apologize for the severe audio issues we experienced. We weren't aware of them until we were done filming and with the concert next month, we didn't have time to film it all over again. And yes, some of our voiceovers will look like a Kung Fu movie ;) If you pay attention the video will give you the info you need to navigate from Paris, to La Defense metro/RER station, and then all the way to the Arena.
We will also show you how much and how long it would take via taxi, uber or private car, as well as where you're likely to be dropped off by the arena if you take these options.
We know for a lot of you it will be your first time traveling to Europe and safety is a huge concern. We can say that there was extremely great security visible all over as we filmed this video and the concert taking place at the time of our filming was a local French musician, not an international star. So we have to imagine security will be as good if not better for the Taylor Swift concert.

I’m late to the party but great video….we live in 340sqm (3700sqf) two adults, 2 chihuahuas & 3 cats in the Golfe de St Tropez, France.. My bathroom is roughly the size of your apartment and I’m in awe of how you use your space.. I’m under no illusion that the way we live is ridiculous.. Thanks for the great video. Coming from Colorado and this is helpful to see. What is the best stop to get off if riding the RER A? It looks like on the return trip you are riding from the La Defense stop. Both City Mapper and Bonjur RATP are telling me to ride to Nanterre-Prefecture.
Hi there! Where are you retuning to that it’s telling you to go to Nanterre?
@@LamourdeParisPhotographers I am staying in the 8th and will be riding the RFR a from the Auber station. And it keeps telling me to ride 3 stops, pass La Defense and get off at Nanterre-Prefecture and then it says it is a 10 minute walk to the arena.
Ok so it’s a 6m walk from Nanterre and 10m walk from La defense but La defense will be the more populated route with fans.

I didn't see the part about the taxis/ubers -- how long does it usually take to get one after a show?
We didn’t stay for the end of the show that night but we have to imagine that there will be plenty of cabs waiting after the show at the location we showed in the video. I imagine Uber will be there as well but in more demand. Hope that helps!

This is such a great video~ thanks! You didn't mention the Porte des Lions- could you please comment on it? I've read that it is quieter, that you need to already have a ticket to use it, and that it isn't always open/available. I like the 'quieter' part!

This still feels quite complicated for me- I have never used a metro system like this in from a very small place and and nervous about taking my daughter
I understand it can seem overwhelming as we tried to cover all the possibilities. But if you get app cirymapper and pay close attention to the directions and the signage in the station you should be ok.

Guys I really would like to say thanks, I'll be visiting the Louvre in June and your video was exactly what I was looking for! So helpful and well explained! What I can see from your video is that the "official" entrance and ticket check is done downstairs, correct? I already bought my ticket so I'm planning to use the Carrousel entrance to avoid the Pyramid as I'm limited in time! In normal conditions, how much time before my scheduled entrance (9 am) should I arrive? I really hope you can help me out and thanks a lot again!

Hello. Please can you help me the official louvre museum will not return my many emails.. We are from New Zealand and we have tickets for the 2pm guided tour with including entrance included in the one ticket..Where do you meet for the official site louvre tour...Also confusing is rhat the time entrance is 2pm when the tour starts at 2pm. All it says is be 30 minutes early...Any help will be so much appreciated

Do you know that if I have the paris museum pass (obviously I must book an online reservation even If i have the pass) can I enter by the carrousel entrance? 2. If not, is there any is a specific waiting line for paris museum pass holders at the main entrance?

This is what I found on the Paris museum pass website: To book a time slot: log on to ticketlouvre.fr, select "Visitors with a Paris Museum Pass", choose the day and time of your visit, and indicate your name and your PMP number. You can then download a QR code that will get you through the first checkpoint at the entrance to the Pyramide du Louvre (the only way to get in). You will then need to show your PMP at the various checkpoints in the museum, located under the Pyramid. Thanks for watching!

It’s highly recommended to buy a ticket in advance but there is one line we pointed out to buy tickets onsite.

When I visited this park in March 2022, it seemed more residential than touristy. I was told this park stays open longer than most and is used as a cut through for the residents around the park. There is also a school close by so lots of kids enjoying the outdoors.

We have purchased tickets online for a Friday evening slot. Would you still recommend entering through the “secret entrance”?
Good question! It depends mainly on weather. If it’s bad weather than certainly go underground. If it’s nice weather then above ground should be just fine. You can always check out the ground level line for your time slot and if it seems long then head underground. Thanks for watching!!!
