The reason that you don't know what it must have felt like is because he is actually mixing in a way that would have kept people dancing, not just making sound effects with the records. There's a good reason that he won two years in a row, a feat that wasn't duplicated until eight years later.

It's impressive and it's a good routine, and I mean what about todays djing, just flashing buttons and beat juggling.
