    You made me think about how in the sequel trailer we see Gannon possibly having power extracted from him and maybe he is hidden in one of the malice flooded places. Then I remembered how King Rome was always telling Zelda to stop doing research and focus on her training. What if he was afraid she would find something? She was snooping around and making him nervous. This has probably been thought of already but it was a fun lightbulb.

      @@Supersonicblue1027 Thats CONCEPT art though, and the fact the Malice is overfilling from this place, could be representation of the malice building up from Ganons body. I can respect your opinion but Concept art is very rarely what actually comes out, and shows their ideas along the way to the final design. I may be wrong, but its an Idea and a Theory, you cant be 100 percent correct until we see the actual reveal or gameplay when it finally comes out, and they may have returned to the castle but then fled when it came alive and went to find the cause of why it rose up, which could lead them to follow the Malice to its "source" which would be the overflow coming from the Citadel

    • @Supersonicblue1027
      @Supersonicblue1027 Před 3 lety

      @@HylianHuman Bruh the place in the trailer literally matches the architecture underneath the actual castle and secondly he's under the castle that's the whole reason calamity comes out from underneath it and not the citadel, because calamity spawns directly from his body shooting straight up to the surface and then calamity spreads it's malace across the land so the malace at the citadel is from all the dead guardians inside and from calamity Ganon, and the castle rose because Ganon woke up the trailer was suppose to tell us the castle rises after he wakes up so they didn't go to investigate because of the castle it's because Zelda said she felt something deep below and that they had to go back, (and where did they leave at the end of BotW oh yeah that's right the castle), like I would love to respect and agree with your opinion but it doesn't really make much sense.

    Hey HG! Video idea: five pieces of armor/shields that should have had different/additional effects.
    A few thoughts:
    -Snow and Sand boots should have had cold/heat resistance respectively.
    -Upgraded climbing gear should have reduced or eliminated the rain climbing penalty
    And the biggest one;
    *Fully* upgraded Wild Set should remove the cool down on the master sword. Yes this would be very powerful, but at the point when you’ve done all 120 shrines *and* gathered all those dragon parts, you’re at the end of the game anyway, and it would deliver the fantasy of letting you play as “classic link” in both appearance and style.

      All the overworld monsters have been hunted to extinction, excluding moblins, bokoblins, and lizalfos because of their sheer numbers. However, in the underground caverns, they thrived because of the lack of hylians. Shortly after the defeat of calamity ganon, the seal on the doorway down has been breached by zeldas own power, compelled to investigate because of the cries for help heard by both Zelda and link. With all information on these creatures lost to time, this makes link and Zeldas experience fighting them all the more terrifying to them. Dogs that fight? Insects too big to imagine? Deku monsters trying to bite your head off? That’ll make for some good gameplay potential.

It could be used as a prison, some storage or even a super secret lab. The boss could be either a malice monster or a mega guardian, or even both combined, like the blights, but that would be too repetitive (both ideas were taken from your dream bosses video). @Hyrule Gamer
    I think it would be cool if we could blow up an entrance into the Citadel in BotW 2.
    and the first things we see are Skeletons...
    Not Monster skeletons, but Hylian, Gerudo, Zora, Goron, and/or Rito skeletons...
    All overgrown with moss, vines, other green plants... Just plain skeletons.
    It's not until you get further in//down into the building that POSSIBLY ReDeads//"Mummies" awaken, etc.

    yes, there needed to be more places to go inside in _Breath of the Wild…_ the Akkala Citadel, the Forgotten Temple, that Coliseum place, maybe some ruin in Faron, or the caves in Hebra… they could’ve been like Hyrule Castle with fleshed-out interiors, just to a lesser degree, with lots of goodies and a Shrine or two hiding within.

    Although I don't have an interesting comment,I have a theory, citadel might be the main armoury source/defence tower for hyrule,because of the way that the canons were placed and the stairs are perfect for archers to shoot at an army and since in a war it's better to attack the main defense point,that can explain the guardians/other monsters

    Something about Akkala, both the continent and the citadel, has always intrigued me. Especially since the Spring of Power is there and yet there's not much there in terms of civilization compared to the rest of Hyrule. I think you talked theories in a video once about what the Citadel was used for, likely as a defense for that side of the continent. Which makes sense. I always wondered too if it could potentially be somewhere for the royal family to go similarly to possibly how the Snow Peak Ruins (which Nintendo, feel free to place somewhere in Hebra for BOTW2, maybe it was buried in snow).

    Expanding "Ganon is under the Citadel" theory with further points. Ganon has shown a proclivity to inhabiting towers before. So the Hylian structure could have been built as a defense structure to keep anybody else out of a dangerous place. The Citadel is also built around the buried Sheikah Tower, showing a possible focus point. An age old effort to keep monsters out, and investigate within. But not knowing it's the ancient grave of Ganon beneath. Additionally, there were no dormant guardians inside of the Citadel whatsoever, yet the ancient Sheikah plunged a tower straight down the middle. Could the tower have functioned similar to the sealing spikes in Skyward Sword? And then to bury the Dark King's body under the ruins of his own Tower Fortress. No guardians to draw attention, just a Tower much like the others. Leaving the husk of Ganon to decay, in secrecy and darkness, undisturbed.

    Zelda should already know the purpose of the towers and why they were activated, as with Purah unless they both lost their memory. The towers were built by the Sheika to help defend against calamity ganon, like the guardians and divine beasts, and can be used to see enemy force's locations etc.
    Play age of calamity.
