Such a special and interesting player. Never was an all star but was definetly all star calibur. Even this highlight vid basically shows he can do anything you ask of him. Happy to witness him win 2 rings and a 6th man
He was never underrated, he fell off the path too soon, otherwise I believe he wouldâve been great....just when his career was taking off, the wring way caught him.... his downfall has nothing to do with the NBA but his struggle with his own demons!!! Some of us have to really experience hardships to become wiser.... I pray he finds his way back because he can still be great....and hopefully the NBA will believe in him just as much as we do....
Lamar was elite in terms of talent. He can even play defense and rebound. The only weakness he had is that he is his mental state. There are games where his head is not into it.
He couldâve been a superstar back then too, talent and fitting in the game was never an issue. His work ethic, dedication to greatness and just overall motivation were just not there for that.
I am a big fan of Kobe but Lamar is my fav in Lakers expect Kobe. He makes me feel like NBA player is also an actual person in life even though we might not able to know them especially for the people like me who is living outside of America. Sometimes when I look at Kobe , I will feel inspired and touched by his spirit but for Lamar, somehow I feel a invisible link with him. He is like someone I know in my life, having his climax and struggling at the same time. Not hero, not perfect genius, just a moral person like everyone in the world. When I experience the pity for him, I am feeling all the regrets in my life. He is someone I donât know but feel very familiar to. Wish him the bestđ
+Patience Barnett he was a great player and had a great career....he had it all, fame, money, the rings, fans, everything. dude came from nothing and it's crazy how he pissed it all away
+undertoes money or fame doesn't make people happy sometimes. Lamar lost his son, he just lost a really good friend recently, his wife left him, his mom died when he was young, he was in a car crash when he was young and had to see his cousin die. This dude has been through A LOT.
undertoes the only happiness he had was playing in front of adoring fans in staples center. Once that was taken away from him he had nothing to escape to.
there will never be another lamar odom. 6 foot 10, running the point off the bench. 2x champ. kobe could sit back and relax when he went to the bench knowing lamar got it
I can deff feel that. I feel the same way although it's mostly because there are so many talented people in the nba that we don't notice role players as much... only greats. still sad though.
+J Sax Musik you are really right on that. Many guys who were good or had the talent and die, and sometimes get over shadowed. A lot of guys who died that were really good or almost made it too the NBA i can name. Hank gathers, Ben wilson, Reggie lewis, Len bias, Eddie griffin, and Drazen petrovic.
Damn, I just heard about this. I grew up watching this guy play. He is a BEAST on the court and was such an important piece to that lakers squad. Once he left, that team lost their identity. I really hope he gets well.
+Pat Sajak It already saddens me watching kobe play in this day and age in this fashion and it only saddens me more hearing the news about lamar odom. The offense run by kobe-gasol-odom was once the prettiest thing in the league.
One of my all time favorite laker! Such a unique player who could do it all. Was such an instrumental piece when they won back to back championships. Hoping he pulls through.
At of all the men that ive seen come into the reality TV screen this is one of the ones that seemed to b 100% genuine and not full of himself like others, their for I took a like 'en to this man he's very talented but has also been threw alot but I'm glad to hear he's doing well...Be strong big homie keep making progress and we will keep praying AMEN.
LO was good but should have been even better. 6'10, could shoot, dribble, play D, go coast to coast, pass etc. If he had Lebron or Kobes work ethic maybe he could have been an all time great. He had the size for it.
tghetto5 he sacrificed to win that doesn't mean he didn't work hard when he won sixth man he was coming off the bench getting triple doubles u think if he played for a team that lacked a scorer he wouldn't of averaged better stats?
R.I.P Lamar Odom I won't only remember you as a Kardashian Ex by as a Two Time Champion and a Sixth man of the year award winner. You gave your heart to the game and any fan should respect thatđ
Players like him are the most underrated in all of basketball⊠not a superstar⊠but a glue guy who can do a little bit of everything. If you have a 6th man like him coming off the bench then youâre always going to be a contender for the championship.

Masiah Henry stfu bitch boi
+Patience Barnett I know you dawg đđŸ
Strokes
Masiah Henry kobe went go see him
One of the most underrated players of all time
Ben Simmons has nothin on lamar. If lamar was in the league today he would be better now then he did back then
Very underrated rebounder as well... he knew where the ball was going to come off the rim... him and gasol complimented each other perfectly too

Very underrated but super talented best high IQ player
This dude was way ahead of his time. Wouldâve been a superstar in todayâs game without a doubt!
He couldâve been a superstar back then too, talent and fitting in the game was never an issue. His work ethic, dedication to greatness and just overall motivation were just not there for that.
How can you be 6'10 and have the skills of a 6'2 PG. With incredible defense and swag. So perfect for the triangle
Donât forget the range đŻ
Cause he was a 6â2 point guard.
He looks just like KG. With his handles he could have been an all time great like Kevin Garnett.
Who's here in 2019? Just missin' a player like lamar.
One of the best big man with handles

People need to realize who unique of an player Lo was. He could play every position on the court, and his rebounding and pick & roll defense was top.
*how

Sincerely, a Mavs fan.
He is breathing on his own and is talking! Hopefully he gets right back to his old and talented self.
Praying for him.
+hanshen wang me too, but his talent never comes back
Yi Feng no he won't be able to come back to the NBA.
Hanshen Wang where is he now I havenât heard from him in years
Han W snorting COOOCOO
there will never be another lamar odom. 6 foot 10, running the point off the bench. 2x champ. kobe could sit back and relax when he went to the bench knowing lamar got it
people used to look at me funny when i said that LO was one of my favorite players. look at these highlights. he was ahead of his time
I loved that at the height of his playing days he was boldly christian when it wasn't popular to do.
I find it sad that I can only treasure someones greatness when they are almost gone.
I can deff feel that. I feel the same way although it's mostly because there are so many talented people in the nba that we don't notice role players as much... only greats. still sad though.

Damn. These highlights are nasty. Heâs doing everything! Incredible passing, what a phenomenal player.
LO had a style of playing that was beautiful to watch. His movements were Graceful when he was zoned in.
He was graceful yet had the attitude of dog on the court.
Came here after he was found unconscious.

+Pat Sajak same, i just needed to see when he was happy & loving life. he doesnt deserve this. he is actually a good guy.
Same thing also
Jack of all trades and heâs 6â10. nothing was left out of this mans bag of tricks.
I loved his skillset! Rare talent. I miss his game in the NBA...
3 hours later. refresh. views are up by 12k. Lakers nation showing up. Get well Lamar.
Fuck yea
he plays like magic johnson
Get well soon Lamar! Always loved watching him play, one of the more unique and versatile players of his generation.
miss this guy
I miss those Lakers using the triangle to perfection. Always that extra pass never forcing the issue on fast breaks.
Man, Lamar was sooo viscous. He was the smoothest Laker on that squad
6'10 playing all positions
Lamar is one of my favorite Laker. So underrated
Sad to see. Odom seems like the type of guy people want to see succeed. I really hope he pulls through and turns his life around.
he did. im sure youre happy dude
One of my all time favorite laker! Such a unique player who could do it all. Was such an instrumental piece when they won back to back championships. Hoping he pulls through.
Still alive and kicking. I really enjoyed watching him on Celebrity Big Brother. Such a down to earth, kind individual.
Jus so beautiful. That refreshing feeling. I love basketball. Lamar should be in the nba manual.
Lamar would be much more valued in todayâs league. That size and mobility, shooting, defense, rebounding. He had it all.
Video was well done! Music matched perfectly with lamar's play and personality
Superb feel for the game, so versatile in several facets. Our prayers are with you Lamar, hope you'll pull through a full recovery.
Lamar is OK now! Nice to see you again Man!

Always have liked Lamar such a fundamentally good player.. big love for him đ€
This just made me tear up
Man this dude would thrive in todays nba
Lamar was the prototype for the "perfect player". IMO, the only one that could literally play every position and not get outclassed.
One of the most talented bigs of the 2000s era
LAMAR COULD OF BEEN A SUPERSTAR! HE HAD A LOT OF POTENTIAL AND TALENT!
I miss 2000-2010 LA LAKERS
Great player happy to see him doing better after all heâs been through
Love and miss him
2023 I Still ComeBack And Watch Ya Highlights LO!!

Special form of comfort comes after watching this especially seeing that smile after winning the championship. Fight on Lamar
prayers all around! man, you got this.
Wow this is such a nice looking highlight. Such talent.
Great video I think I saw like 1 clippers highlight for Lamar lol this was really a Lakers Lamar Odom mix.
Silky smooth game man
These highlights make him look top tier
Lamar should've been a hall of fame player bro was elite
One of the most versatile players Iâve ever seen, could do anything a coach asked him too, very unrated.
Damn LO was ahead of his time he was a demigod and seeing Kobe brings back memories of those great Laker teams
Great video/mix!
Lamar was the OG demi god
One of my favorite Laker players of all time. If the Lakers had a player like this playing with Labron they would be unstabable.
definition of a true baller
LO was good but should have been even better. 6'10, could shoot, dribble, play D, go coast to coast, pass etc. If he had Lebron or Kobes work ethic maybe he could have been an all time great. He had the size for it.
Ben Simmons if you ask me.

eric coronado easily would have averaged 25+
He had the work ethic drugs ruined his career
@@LeBeautiful Nah. Ben can't shoot.
I didn't know Lamar was so sick...

During those championship runs Kobe was Kobe but Lamar Odom was the X factor.
THE GENERAL**** yea Lamar and Pao
Momma, there goes that man!!!!
That was the nastiest pass I've ever saw!
Here I am in 2024 watching Lamar Odom highlights⊠the league just aint the same anymore đȘ
