I had a go on a mini digger today. Only the second time in nearly 40 years since I spent close on 3 years driving one. Your skill and deft touch are appreciated by this old guy. Thank you
In my experience, the smaller the machine, the more difficult it is to operate, since the little ones jump around so much it’s hard to have a smooth control of the sticks when you’re bouncing around on them!
Those are going to be some fun burn piles to watch, probably not to tend! Love this, can't wait to see the pond drained. Thanks for sharing this, Chris.
The owner of that land is a lucky man! First for owning such a beautiful piece of property and secondly for having you there to shape that beauty even further.
You are going to have a lot of burning to do when it rains. This farm looks so much better now that you’ve cleared all the brush and trees. I could sit and watch you work all day. Thanks for bringing all of us along on all your jobs.
love to watch you working on the clearing and stacking burn piles.. will be a great pond once it has been dredged.. thanks for sharing your work with us..
I always enjoyed it when there's a new Chris Letsdig18 episode of him doing a little clearing and stacking up burn piles on Sunday evening. Chris is definitely a master at his profession. Only thing that tops the stacking is the burning episodes.
Waiting on rain but when it comes there is a lot of burning to do between this job and the other clearing job. Sure looks dusty as a popcorn fart out there today so yeah, need some moisture. Looks like Chris is going to be busy when the rains come.
Chris's favorite things, Stumps!! The Land looks 100 % better and more land production for the farm. those piles are gonna be on heck of a winnie roast when you can finally light er up..
By the Pon6, how You the Way around the Pond clearing. The greatest Clearing have You make and Burn Piles beginn to building. This Day You clearing, the last and building massive Burn Piles, that You by a Rainday Rainday make the great Fire. The Work however very good. Gladden my of the Burn Day. ☔And 🔥🔥
Chris, using goats works well for lots of things too. Fence them off, make sure they've got water and are protected from predators (like putting a donkey in with them-donkeys'll fuck shit up!), let 'em be for a bit, and poof! So far as I know, too, they don't need DEF. It does work, and in a way you can't get any other way. Even on jobs where you'll use regular equipment, you can prep the areas with goats while you're working on other stuff. I'd give it a try at your place, just to see how well it works.
Looks like you get some of the hot-bots infecting your site too, Chris. I get them on 'X' and report/block them. They do learn and adapt, tho. Good luck with that.
You have cleared a few acres now. Besides the pond is definitely going to be a lot healthier without the trash going into it eating up the oxygen for the fish.
You know; those fields, surrounded by trees, including that beautiful oak that really resembles an English oak, plus the wonderful lake with it’s little island; would make a perfect little estate. All it needs is a modest little Georgian mansion, two stories with attics, built in orange red bricks, twelve paned Venetian styled sash windows and a good barn and a coach house similarly built with the same bricks and you’d have perfection. Sheep grazing in the park; horses in a paddock and you would have heaven :-)
I used to follow 5 channels likes yours, but I cut the others out. They couldn’t hold a candle to your amazing skill that’s mesmerizing. Keep it up brother 👍😎
SOB !! Man, Fire is gonna shoot off those piles 70 ft. into the air !! lololololol... Yeah, it's going to have to be real wet , when you catch those on fire Chris !! lolol.. Great as always Man, Have a Great Evening, And, On too the Next !!
Sitting Rock under the oak tree - when all is done will be a place to escape to and contemplate absolutely nothing. Huge area opened up to pasture and pond enlargement will enhance it all. Burn time will be a spectacle.
Your fire burns are works of ART if you have never seen one of Chris's Burns they are something else he does get the job done and as dry as this is she will g fast ,It's so mush more than than breaking up concrete
FYI CZcams has not allowed me to see any of your videos for way over 4 months I have even tried to find your videos with a total blank for my search I have actually been using your videos to get ideas on digging out trees with my micro mini excavator with a 1000lb lifting limit and only 3 feet wide
Good Morning Chris. I hope all is well with you. You are doing a remarkable job on this piece of property. A bigger pond would like nice. Have what's left of a good weekend. God Bless and Good Health.
I’ve a question, is there an optimal size for the burn piles, the excavator can only reach so high but that being said do you have a size that you like. Thank you Sir for this video
Chris...I know you work your butt off ever day, but I have a strange request that I am sure others would support. How about this burn session you film it at night, from beginning to as far as possible. Please 🙏🙏
Can’t wait for the dredging section of this project!! It’s when you can put your style into the design!!
Awesome clean windows makes higher quality definition THANKS CHRIS

@@tomrogers9467 And the valves are way less of a quality product so they lack all modern smoothness capabilities
I am looking forward to you cleaning up/smoothing up the pond edges with your smooth bucket. 🙂

Great progress. Looking good Chris!
Great to be back and watch you working the machines...love the videos...Stay safe and see you soon
The fire that is put off from that pile will be seen from Mars.
Thank you and have an awesome day.
That fuel trailer has already paid for itself.
love to watch you working on the clearing and stacking burn piles.. will be a great pond once it has been dredged.. thanks for sharing your work with us..
I don't know who the farmer is but he has some deep deep pockets. Chris has been working for this guy like two years steady at least.
Was thinking the same thing! Chris definitely has a great customer
Nice big piles to make big fires.
moving material 3 times is waste of money
Can’t wait for the burning day! And especially the island clearing and dredging, really looking good Chris! Like this project.
I hope the land owner has put you on the health insurance plan with all the work you been doing for him 😎
Let’s dig it
Yeah that’s going to be a good burn pile .
Another awesome viewing , Thank You ,Chris .
THANKS!

Between Jeff and this customer they both keep you busy bro, looking forward to the pond work on this bit. Safe travels. Ken.
My goodness those piles are huge. Fire day maybe soon. Thanks Chris. Have a great week.

Thanks for the update, property is really looking good. Those fires are going to be hot not to mention huge. Looking forward to seeing that burn.

Great job, Chris!! Thumbs up! Jim

I wish I could be there to enjoy that fire with you. It’s incredible how nimble you’re able to be with that big of a machine
I used to follow 5 channels likes yours, but I cut the others out. They couldn’t hold a candle to your amazing skill that’s mesmerizing. Keep it up brother 👍😎
Lots of wannabes with garbage content very few good ones
That fire is going to be epic.

Oh, btw, Geoff wants a moat around the castle now! Mrs. Bealy Good doesn’t know yet. Don’t worry if he’s not home just go ahead…😊
That’s going be a beast of a 🔥
When you light the big one the ISS will be able to see it.
Your going to see those fires from the Space Station.
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHRIS 😊
I use Rain X on my glass, with the machine moving and vibration the dust usually doesn't stick.
Just wanted to know about the scary pond with the island in the middle. 😮
Sitting Rock under the oak tree - when all is done will be a place to escape to and contemplate absolutely nothing. Huge area opened up to pasture and pond enlargement will enhance it all. Burn time will be a spectacle.
It sure looks much better. Im sure there's more could be done, but its already a big change. Hard job to the finished product, but you're great at it.
Your fire burns are works of ART if you have never seen one of Chris's Burns they are something else he does get the job done and as dry as this is she will g fast ,It's so mush more than than breaking up concrete
Good job sir
Another mount brushmore film coming.
When they used to build ships from wood the keel was often made from Elm. For being stronger but still flexible than most woods.

Nice video Chris.
Good Morning Chris. I hope all is well with you. You are doing a remarkable job on this piece of property. A bigger pond would like nice. Have what's left of a good weekend. God Bless and Good Health.
if the owner's going to use it for pasture you will need to clear a fence line so he can maintain the fence you have job security
I was hoping to see the window wash😂
❤ seeing the land transformed. Thorn bushes to pasture?
Yes that was a lot of work Peace out
There is heavy rain in the Carolinas right now. Start those fires !!!
You do so much clearing work, have you considered a tree shear? Or a felling head for the excavator?
use soapy water and squeegy...works excellent
Oh fun, two minutes in and we get stump chucking.
We want to see the fire. Cannot wait.
Dusty is better than muddy.
I’ve a question, is there an optimal size for the burn piles, the excavator can only reach so high but that being said do you have a size that you like.
Thank you Sir for this video
LetsDig18!😊
good burn pile
Would you ever get gps then ?
What is it about oak that makes it such a preferred tree?
5:00 That's what she said 😂
Nice
Would love to see a thumb on the 330
You've probably got enough material there to stack it up in an LD18 logo pattern, light it and take drone shots of it!
What is the pro vs cons of pit and pile burning
👍👍👍
Chris. Would you not get the dredging done while you have a big pile of ask to mix in with it?
Man” you’re a busy man.
I beat Frank, that's all that matters LOL
Cherlock Holmes here sshh.
@@Rick_Lane lol
Chris...I know you work your butt off ever day, but I have a strange request that I am sure others would support. How about this burn session you film it at night, from beginning to as far as possible. Please 🙏🙏
He might be burning today. Been raining in the Charlotte area all day. I live about 3.5 hours east of his area.
Was dry West all day.Weather is funny.
He has
Yes, it would make a good video, but make clearing around the pile as it burns a challenge in the dark!
We need to do a rain dance for Chris because that burn 🔥 video is going to be epic
about time you did something I mean dang...
Hola Chris
Rain shower? You're gonna need a hurricane and two burn permits.
What does the top screen in the 220 do? Like 2 d dig program for getting depth if you use a lazer
👍
Do you have to get a permit before you can burn all that?
going to be a bonfire the space station can see again.
Does it need an island ??
