Love the m160. Used them on drums on a x/y 1,5 meters from the front of the drums aimed between kick and toms. mixed with condenser mics on the kick snare and toms. with just 8 mics i can have a great drum sound.

Question: What is the length of the microphone cable you would recommend?

It’s usually 3 feet but could be more

      @@ramencurry6672 3 feet isn't nearly enough. 10-15 minimum.

@@beyerdynamic Dear Celine, thanks for replying. Yes, I would love to listen to the M130 in action, in sources like Piano, Trumpet and Sax. Vocals would be great as well. I'm planning to get 4 pairs of it, for jazz ensembles, which is my core business. But here in Brazil we don't have access to these mics, then I would have to ask somebody to buy them in EU. So, I'm doing a research for sound samples on the internet, even on the Gearspace forum, but it seems to be tough to find M130 sound samples. Thank you very much and have a great week.
