Story 1: Using bees as a weapon for revenge is certainly... different, but damned if it isn't effective. Guy insulted and mocked a lady behind her back, and to her face, then attacks her and her brother after she rightfully leaves him in the dust. Honestly, I think the bees thing is one of the craziest things I've ever heard, but at least it didn't go any farther than it did, or there wouldn't be any justification at all.

The bee story I am on OP’s side. She said she was a sophomore, so around 15-16 when this happened. The fact she and the brother were more focused hiding the incident from the dad than telling him they are in over their heads and need help, kinda tells me that they don’t think cops would do anything or that the cops would just tell the dad to deal with it. A teen would be dumb/emotionally insecure enough to think of dealing with it on her own.
A possible 18 year old bragging about banging an underage girlfriend while making fun of her in the same sentence is a scumbag, then when slighted decides to beat her, he deserves scars. He probably would have done worse if her brother wasn’t there.

Story 1: Harris is a major jerk here. You dont make disparaging jokes and comments about your own gf like that. Just goes to show how immature high schoolers can be. One comment is bad enough, but to keep going like that is beyond rude. OP had every right in the world to leave him there, he deserved it. Honestly, the moment he laid his hands on the OP and did all that around the house, all bets should've been off at that point. That was assault on a minor, plain and simple. Harris deserved all those bee stings. I do think that the OP should've gotten her dad involved, but who knows what he would've done to Harris. I also think that the OP and her brother shouldve let everyone know about the assault and home invasion too, probably would've stopped the OP from going to jail and all that too. Story 2: Old people and technology..... always a recipe for disaster. Also another case of "You speak when you should listen". If the old man had just calmed down and listened for a split second, all of this wouldve been avoided. Im sure he'll be yelling at a cloud, if he's even still alive at this point.

Story #1 to preface this, I'm not overweight or have ever been (to my knowledge), nor do I condone the words or actions of anyone involved. Don't come at me pls 😬 as a person with a disability that gets worse as I get older, I know on the really bad days, I'm really not myself due to the pain, discomfort and exhaustion... You really can't compare disabled or sick people against each other, since no one is handling and/or experiencing their illness the same. Some know not to go out on bad days... But others might not have a choice. Im ashamed, like so much, that I've lashed out at total strangers before as well, just due to my mental and physical health on said day... I feel awful about it still. But it wasn't something I could control at that point and I imagine it may have been the same for this guy. 😢 It's just impossible to understand what someone with an illness or handicap, or whatever.. Is going through at any given point. However I am absolutely sure, none of these people WANT to be like that... 😢

I think I was in my freshman year of high school. I used to have hair that would go all the way down my back. A hornet got stuck in it during band practice (final period). That was the last straw. I've been having nightmares about bees chasing/stinging me ever since. To make it worse, I'm one of the few people who feel pain in their dreams.
If I was playing Minecraft and discovered that somebody was attacking my sister, I would go up to him, and say, “Okay. Listen here, mate. I’m gonna have to ask you to f*ck off.” Then I would probably begin forcing him towards the door. Sure, I would get hurt, but nobody hurts my sister and gets away with it. She is my baby hippo.

You missed the part where she called him over to the house later. She was already safe at that point. Like the guy was gone, and she then decided to call him back to the house to unleash bees on him.

First of all, I am speaking as a father who has raised a daughter to womanhood. I raised her to be strong, even though she is very petite.
Also, I'm certain that I will get some kind of backlash for what I am about to say next, but I taught my daughter, just like her twin brother, to defend themselves. With not only firearms but with several other weapons as well, including a knife.
This also came in handy when she was twelve years old, and a boy who was almost 16 years old tried to take advantage of her in the woods. He was also over 6'1" and weighted over 230 lbs, while she didn't even weigh 97 lbs at the time.
Needless to say, before the police had arrested him, he ended up with several new scars because I taught her to never take that type of abuse from anyone.
Also, the reason why my daughter didn't get into any trouble was also due to the fact that he had gotten himself into trouble before trying the same thing, but not to the degree that he was attempting with my daughter.
In all honesty, if you were my daughter, I would be truly proud of you for not taking SHIT from a boy in a man's body. I mean, what kind of man hits a girl and not expect something in return in the way of punishment for that unprovoked attack. And in your own home no less.
However, I do have to admit that you should have either contacted the police or called your father to handle that situation.
However, if your father can't understand your reasoning for why you retaliated, then maybe you should consider trying to speak with him about the situation.
Regardless, I believe that you should sit down with your mother first about this and how you felt about being attacked as well as ask what they think you should do in the future, aside from another "Tactical Insect Weapon".
I also believe that every girl and woman should learn how to train themselves to defend against attacks from bigger people, and not just from men either because I've seen women who can fight just as well, if not better than some men can.
Now, I'm not talking about trying to be the next MMA fighter, but there are many self-defense classes that are available everywhere, including in suburban and urban areas. Just check online for those type of classes.
Other than your method, I believe that you were justified in your reasoning for retaliation.

I'm a terrible person, but I laughed my ass off about the bees. I know how awful it was. However, as someone who has been in an abuse relationship. I know the only time it stops, is when the abuser finds out that you could hurt them badly. Generally restraining orders aren't helpful. Especially if someone has physically assaulted you.

Honestly, the only person I feel bad for is the OP’s dad. If bees are a business making venture, then that would’ve costed a FORTUNE. Plus… why not just lie? Preface before i was my opinion on story 1, my fiance is overweight. Now that ive said that, the ex deserved it. If it was just the humiliation the bees would bee overkill, but when you account for how emotionally unstable someone has to bee to punch someone for humiliating him, it was definitely justified.
But overall revenge was dumb. I'm sure the life long criminal record isn't worth it. Like talk to your parent because they honestly could have created an equally severe revenge without the consequences OP face. Maybe even OP could have gotten a better revenge that would be life long for the trash boyfriend if OP did it smartly.

He's clearly awful, & not worth losing more over. Being stung multi times at once can cause them to become allergic. It isn't till the next time they get stung that they have an allergic reaction, so could actually kill him later.

I have 2 grown up daughters. When they reached the age of 12 they learned karate. Then I bought lip stick sized pepper spray canisters that can be carried like a pendant or in the purse.

To make sure he won't attack her again, she drives a fist into his nose breaking the septum. Then she scampers back to the tour bus to tell the rest.
