Why have there been no updates to the podcast recently, theres been no new episodes on spotify since last Thursday
@@togsana there was an issue that is being fixed now. new episode will be up in less than an hour! :)
whats the name of the game in the background?
@@Spasattack69ghost runner if you haven’t found it yet I think it’s only PlayStation tho
Story 1: the OP could have called the police to report the mother for child abandonment and opted to not call CPS and let the police handle calling or not calling CPS.
And it would also have gotten the husband's attention far more quickly, and may have resulted in a good outcome much sooner.
@@gamester512 It might have also given him ammunition in a divorce and to potentially get full custody.
Yeah I'd have called the police one the second or third time. The first OP was way too nice about it for someone she only met once before.
@@umani9983 i would have done it the first time 😂
It's a dumb fucking story where op is no better than the shitty neighbor, just wrong in a different way. CPS should have been called the moment the kid was abandoned the first time. And op claiming she tried everything when she didn't try the one thing she should have done to begin with.
When the mom left the kid on the doorstep, knowing the neighbor wasn't home, the police should have been called. That's abandonment and endangerment. Same with leaving the child in the car alone.
Story 2: There's actually just a good chance that that wild Karon was just a, well, Karon. There's now actually been sociological studies exploring the Karon phenomena and they figured out that there is a certain type of personality that presents with extreme levels of narcissistic as well self-righteousness that they just deserves to be treated better than anyone else.
Yup it's called a Narcissist
I'm gonna be toxically optimistic - if they were the same age, they could have known each other and had a history. No one plays victim better than a "Karen" that switched from bully to victim.
@@anne-vc7bg no excuses. Family or friend or not, stop making society pay for your piss poor attitudes. The problem in society is the lack of accountability and everyone wants to be toxic and make it everyone else's problem.
@@vaporwingfauxmcloud1190 I fully agree society's problem has to do with lack of accountability. And context does matter with assigning accountability. Things don't happen in a vacuum. I'm sure you had at least 3 classmates that were called stupid nerds all school year round, then asked nicely by their bullies with puppy dog eyes infront of a teacher "can I borrow your notebooks, please 🥺 I really wanna learn and need help."
I would also appreciate it if you would take more care into reading comments that you reply to and use arguments that apply to it, instead of just going at someone with "I'm bigger lobster than you".
Exactly. Karens don't need reasons to go off, it's just in their nature. Once again this narrator tries to justify stupid behavior and attacks the victim right at the end
"Hello? Cps? Hi, there's a random child at my door, says his mom left for work and there's no one to watch him at home"
"Forces" you to babysit? The only thing you're morally forced to do is call the police.
yep, what that entitled mother is doing is borderline slavery, and oh boy if the op is well, African American then things would've escalated like alot.
Story 1 Shows the Karen doesn’t care about her kid and rather have people watch him instead of her
If I were the unfortunate husband in that scenario, I would have *immediately* filed for divorce and fought tooth and nail for custody of the kid (and considering the fact that the Karen was, for all intents and purposes, *abandoning* her kid at OP's house without OP's permission or consent, that would likely have been a very big mark against her being able to have custody....the argument could even be made that she shouldn't have custody at all, since if she ever had custody she may just go right back to her old tricks by trying to force someone to be a free babysitter for her again). If Karen was willing to do all of that while also lying to her husband and essentially stealing from him by taking money he'd given her for the express purpose of her using it to pay OP, then what *else* isn't she being honest with him about? I wouldn't be surprised if that Karen was cheating on her husband on some of those days that she abandoned her kid at OP's house.
I would file for divorce immediately. Imagine not caring for yr own flesh and blood who is so young, totally selfish.
@@gamester512that or she's spending it all on herself while at a beauty salon or on expensive items, which would've normally go to op when babysitting the kid, if the entitled mother wasn't lying to her own husband there.
True
I've been out in public with my kids before an I tell them not to do something, like talk in the movie theater an they will respond with "But that person is doing it" my response is always "I'm not responsible for their behavior, I'm responsible for yours. If their mama didn't raise them right that's not my problem, but you WILL act right."
That's what the mom shoulda said to her kids.
You know what I would have called CPS on this woman. Sorry but I repeatly said that you are not a babysitter
For the Child-dumping story: If I were in OP's shoes, I'd report her to the autorities the second time it happened.
I would've done it the first time, no tolerance for that crap, that's how entitled people are created, when people don't say "no" to their crazy demands or shut down their antics from the start
3rd Story: You could apply the same logic to them. Say something like: "Well, there's a rule in our family that we don't drink soda. It damages teeth and is very unhealthy. And as I see, you little girl ordered herself a soda! By your logic, she should pour it in the trash can and order something else! Water, for example!"
They would either shut up or we would witness mother literally following the advice.
Story 1: Should've called the police for child abandonment. This mother is a horrible mother who does not care about her child.
Story 1: Damn! OP is a total pushover for letting this go on for as long as it did.
I'm a petty person and I would have told Karen to shut the F up and mind her own business! And maybe check out a mirror before she left the house. She had absolutely no room to talk about anything.
What kind of mother just dropps off her child at som random strangers house?? After the first time this happened, I would find the father and put this woman on blast!!
The person who paid for the young mother's baby supplies is definitely one of God's own earthly angels. 😇
Last Story: The post office could get in trouble for violating numerous laws for cranking up the heat to dangerous levels as well not providing toilet paper especially since people with various disabilities could be susceptible to potentially severe harm from both dangerous heat as well as no toilet paper. Also OSHA and the health department could also fine them for work conditions that are dangerous due to extreme heat and unsanitary work conditions.
Dude that mom was an absolute phycopath
First story: I would have called the police for child abandonment the very first time. You even look after the kid once, it would set a bad precedent.
Your neighbor leaves the kid again, call CPS.
That story with the post office, screw that. I wouldnt put up with that crap. And, with the thermostat issue, report it. They cant do that
Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her
Amazing, how did you get a spiritual counselor, and how do i reach her?
Thank you for this valuable information, i just looked her up now online. impressive

first story, call CPS damn, people need to stop being chicken
There's an epidemic of weak pushovers and spineless humans that can't manage to speak up even to save a child from a neglectful monster. It's terrible 🙄
Too many weak people who are doormats. If they have a middle name, it would/should be “Welcome”
1st story: "hey CPS, I've got a neighbour who's actively leaving a young child unaccompanied.." yea Op has no spine in this situation. I'd have went to the police to begin with. Even if the karens husband didn't know what was going on it would be one hell of a wake-up call to divorce the woman
Story 1: OP let this get way out of hand. She should've called the police and report the lady for child abandonment on the very first day of this madness.
Story 2: Give OP a medal, they're a hero!
Story 3: The rules for your family and children don't apply to other people. Would it have been that difficult for the mother to say 'OP is not part of our family so they don't have to follow the same rules you and your brother do' to her kid? Seems easy enough to me.
Story 4: This Bill was a jerk and ge deserved this imo. Also good for OP, escaping from that toxic work environment!
Story #2: Damn 😳... That guy is a God for what he did. And I love how he payed for the young mother's groceries and helped her and her husband buy more baby stuff. How much money does this man have?! Like geez dude. The world need more people like this.
I would have gone to the police on day one, tell them you found a kid wandering about outside, if the mother gets into trouble too bad!
does karen know that leaving her child at op's house is very aggravating and i hate how she keeps leaving his son alone letting her neighbor babysit for her when she doesn't want to babysit?
but i'm glad karen's husband stepped up to do something.
@@viviennemorgan7217 IMO, he should divorce Karen and kick her to the curb ASAP, and then fight tooth and nail for full custody of their son (and with how many times she'd *abandoned* her son at OP's house even when OP had explicitly told her that she wouldn't be home, that would hopefully be a very easy thing for him to do).
@@gamester512 I know what he can do he should leave her and take their son with him.
not to mention its a crime to leave your child at someone else's house just because you're lazy, entitled and negligent
Story 2 is so beautiful definitely an inspiration for me to keep going above and beyond for my fellow humans
Story 2 what a kind person this op is.
story number 2, i can relate to the poster. I was actually one of those people who was constantly on their phone but i was also engaged in conversation with my family whenever we went out, I wasn't absent minded mind you, I was actually fully in the conversation that my family had while I was also on my phone, I guess you could say I have undiagnosed ADHD but, because I never went to the doctor's i just treat it as a quirk because doctors cost money that i don't have. Also 90% of the time now i'm on my phone because i'm talking to a co-worker about something or they're talking to me about something that happened the night before.
It's funny how no one has brought up the fact that the woman in the first story actually might be cheating on her husband hence that's where all the money is going
I love your podcasts man, keep it up
Story 2: (note that I am just liking what they said) love that they said that they were “just as tired as the little man”.😊
If you don't want your child, at least find people who do and give up custody.
first story: i would call the police the first day
What do I have to do all day? Call Child Protective Services, and the police for child abandonment.
"...I tried everything..." Nope, you haven't tried police or cps yet.
yep if you notice that the entitled mother persist, then there's not much of a choice to make anymore.
OP is a doormat
@@princessmarlena1359it's like they forgot their 1st amendment rights, if this takes place in America.
One of the best podcast
I would have called the cops and reported the mum for neglect. CPS even. THE FIRST TIME. I don't play that shit
To the mail storing! Personally, the days that I request all I make sure to put my phone into silent, do not disturb or turn it off completely so that I will not be bothered by trivial things that don't need me to be attending to at that time!
One of my best bosses that I ever had had a cell phone number that no one had because she used a voiceover IP number that she could give out instead so that she could always have her business contacts and her personal contacts. Not knowing that they didn't have the same number!
Story one: call CPS
Story 1 : I feel bad for the little boy. If it was me I would have kept him in my house until the mom/husband came to pick him up and would call the police for child abandonment if the problem didn't stop.Or I would have the little what his dad's number was and told him the situation
I would 1000% call the police and CPS on the neighbor and file abandonment charges.
I like how he just straight up says “I like babies”
Bad day or otherwise; that’s no reason to act like a complete piece of manure to another human being.
“You could’ve just said something..”
I’d be catching charged. OP has dove series restraint
Had a boss tell me once, if someone takes over your shift to inform management of the arrangement and so that if they end up bailing it’s their fault and not yours. Well, in most cases.
First story: I've heard it before in different videos on CZcams & it gets crazier each time.
OP in the first story must have have the word "Welcome" tattooed on her forehead because she let that mother treat her as a doormat.
Hey man, love your videos
i am getting a sense of deja vu i think someone had a similar am i the jerk unless this the same story
Should have called the cops or CPS on the first instance.
4:39 my god this lady i cant believe the audacity theyre not even friends just neighbors
I used to be a yes man, but the one time I needed a day off to see my newborn baby sister, no one could cover. Some even laughed when I called. So since then whenever management called I said, “No, I’ve had a drink, I am legally impaired.” Management was shocked, “it’s only 1 pm?” “Yup it sure is. I’m a little late today actually. Best of luck!”. My coworkers were pissed off that they had to cancel raves and parties with friends. Frankly I didn’t care, wasn’t being paid enough to care. And when management called me in to talk about my change in attitude I pointed out that I work the days I’m scheduled, I do a good job, and if they need me to cover all the time then I should be paid as an “on call” staff member. To which they refused. Stayed for a year after that and the. Fucked off.
I hit the bell, it won’t stop crying
Story 1: Yeah, I would have called CPS and the cops if a dumb woman keeps putting her kid on my doorstep to watch him. But talking to the husband was a better movie. If you want me to actually babysit your kid, you bet your ass I want to pay for it. Since she isn't family and being a bitch, my fees are not negotiable.
Story 2: I actually see that kind of kindness at least a few days a month on where I work. It warms my soul there is still hope for humanity. Thankfully, I haven't run into a Karon yet.
Story 3: Seriously? Talk about a control freak. Even the husband was worried about his wife's actions. I get it that you want family time at dinner but come on! At least op was calm about on how she answered that mother. I will tell you one thing, If I was tired and someone was giving me orders that aren't my family, anyone working at the place I am at or the police, I would be an angry bastard about it and a petty bitch. Not that strong of a will power as op but might be similar to her reaction. At the end, depending on who finished the meal first, I would throw some playful curse words like "Have a nice Fucking day bitch and family." then smirk after turning around knowing how much fun she'll have with her daughter learning a new word. Odds are, the boy already them anyways.
Story 4: Oh Bill is trash. I have not come across such a person that self-important and thinks that everyone would do anything for him. Good for op making a great choice on how to get his revenge. Kind of a short sighted for Bill and the postmaster not seeing op has more than one option to deal with them.
For story 4, they probably thought OP didn’t have an additional option. My friend owns a duplex in a desirable neighborhood, always has tenants and vacancies are limited. He can quit any bad job whenever he wants (lucky him). I’m glad OP had other options.
CPS police her freaking husband.
GET HER FIRED, CALL CPS OR THE COPS!!!!!!!!!!
I feel so bad for the no phones story son and husband
Karen’s don’t need a reason to spout off at unfortunately others. She doesn’t care!
Story 1: ✨Cps✨ still should have called them.. poor kid deserves better than that
for the 1st one she is the jerk, not calling the police or cps 100% put that kid in harms way and might put him in harm again even if shes not involved, remember the husband is only home on weekends.
The lady on her phone in the airport. That kid needed to mind his business, that lady was absolutely not rude. The lady wasn't sitting with anyone, nor was that her family. The other family was rude as hell.
I hope that first story got a good karma on that Karen, cause where all the money she receive from her husband?
you just showed me how to get throught the level in ghostrunner XD
That last story? I've gone to work on second shift, after hours of oral surgery, with my mouth packed wit gauze, and drooling blood.
The first story yeah sorry but I would've called CPS and wouldn't have given two fucks.
I would of called the cops straight away honestly
Story 1...call CPS. Child Protection Services
kinda off topic but I love ghostrunner and am glad ur using it for gameplay I also enjoy the stories a lot keep it up
Okay, at least once I want to give my respect to a dood, that playing in the background. Ghostrunner ain't that easy and playing it that fluently is deserve some attention :D
Didn't even pay for the food
Yeah, I was just called in and had a abandoned child report. Get evidence before doing that that way. She can't say you agreed to babysit first.
The way to make a family is not family friendly! Until we meet again!
Good vid
You should have report to the police about it cause if something happen to his kid she will put the blame on you
Story 1: After the first time, I would have firmly stated: "Do not do this again, I am not a babysitter. You try this again and I will call the police for child abandonment." I would follow through, since its not my duty to compensate for her inability to be a responsible parent.
I'm willing to bet that the husband in that story, had threating to divorce her if she doesn't stop abandoning their kid like that, which I think it worked, and I think that entitled mother was spending the money at a beauty salon or on expensive products that is otherwise needed to feed the kid in the first place, so yeah I think the husband would've divorced her if she doesn't stop treating their kid as second priority.
in other words if I were in the op's shoes, I would get cps involved anyway, likely not knowing that the whether or not the father finds out.
Last story : OSHA violations joined chat
Exactly, I would report them to OSHA and to Department Of Labor.
Story 3.
I wouldve ask waiter to move me next to karen so I can sit next to her and enjoy memes on the phone
Story 1: nope nope nope. I'd have called CPS/911 the first time. I'm not babysitting little timmiy
First story... Okay call CPS.. Seriously that's all ya gotta do.
S1: I'd've called the police.
17:22 he calls the postmaster spineless when hes also spineless, letting this go on for so long
Yeah being an artist i can confirm that we like our space being peaceful, i don't have children so i cannot relate to having to care for them while working. but still, i'll be damn pissed if my time was eaten up because someone doesn't want to take care of their kid especially if they talk to me like that
Story 1 - Nope. Not a free babysitter. Either pay me, assuming I have the free time, or I can get the police involved for child abandonment (especially when the kid waited for 3 hours outside alone).
Story 2 - oh hell no!!! You call my baby a brat you will be on the pavement.
If I was the cashier I would have told her to leave the store.
Story 3 - Cool. Time to ignore you.
Story 1: She should have just kept the child and say: you abandoned him your self and I'm happy to take care of your child. And then give him back after the weekend.
Am I evil?😅
“I like babies”……… OH HELL NAH
When the kid came the second time you could've still brought him in, but she is abandoning her child.... call the police
If I was the mother in story2 I’d be crying from that Karen stressing me the f out
I'd have called CPS the second time she did it
dont call the cops because you fear she would have been fired...
thats the whole reason why i would call them
why isn't she calling Child Service the first time that happened.
Why is it that some people just can't mind their own business and leave people alone?!!!
My goodness woman it's not your problem so leave her alone and let the woman eat
*Story 1:* Talk about crazy entitled mom, for expecting OP to babysit her child. I don't get why she persists despite being told that she was not her babysitter.
Most of these AITA? Stories seem like the OP is NTA and really just asking an easy question with an obvioue answer, but they're somehow getting gaslit either internally or by other people and just want reassurance that they haven't gone insane.
Should have just called CYS.
She wants to leave her kid running around, that's an issue.
Story 2: it’s only me and my brothers sat at the table and we are allowed our phones and iPads because our parents are sat on the sofa watching tv
Karen in grocery store-- She is just a Karen. She's not happy unless she's unhappy
I would have the first mom arrested.
