As a billings resident this map got this perfect, except for a few things, like the "billings park" is really called metra Park and it's a lot bigger than this shows, along with the fact that our home depot is on the other side of billings and not on the heights like it is here, I was shocked to see the skate park that's about maybe a mile away from my current location lmao
They missed like half of Missoula, Polson, Kalispell, and Thompson Falls I was very disappointed.
It’s small scale map to allow for reduced game size, only a small portion of places are going to be included.
Watching this right now on my 10 hour break in my Schneider truck sleeper!

I gotta agree with Jeff on the soft volume of the stock ats trucks. sometimes theur nice but the availability of mods makes it amazing, especially ones like Mortals M11 Cummins beautiful sound pack

@@brayden9060 can't speak for knight, But when I started a year ago at Schneider otr I made 300$ a week and stayed put for 14 days. Now im dedicated for 5 days home 2 take home avg 1000$ profit

We've been getting pounded with rain and snow. Up the hill in Lake Tahoe they got 13.8ft of snow in 8 days. The weather has been quite crazy here we've been taking it one storm at a time.
As someone who lives in Montana, I can say for certain it has not been that warm here. We've gotten snow for two weeks in a row where I live in the state. 😂
Yep, definitely Schneider’s older paint scheme, as I believe they now have their trucks either white or silver with the area around the entry steps and aerodynamic side skirts being a dark gray color, at least on the newer trucks in their fleet like the Freightliner Cascadia, which they’re also apparently using as a test bed for mirrorless trucks where you have 2 cameras, 1 on each side just above the door, and those feed an image to screens mounted on each A-pillar, and this is supposedly for helping with fuel efficiency and removing the blind spots caused by regular mirrors, from what I’ve read on their website.
A large majority of the newer Schneider trucks are now white or grey but there *some* trucks that are any colors. Mine in particular is green with the Schneider livery.

Pizzster’s 389 with the Timpte hopper bottom trailer are an absolutely incredible pair of mods, and combined with SerialBlack modding’s engine sounds, makes for one hell of a combination.
Hi Jeff! I was happy to see this video. I spent a LOT of time loading and unloading Schneider rigs back in the mid 1990's. Indeed Montana does look Fantastic in the sim. Looking forward to seeing you flying in MSFS here. Would you consider taking an Airwolf Mod and taking a trip or an F-4U Corsair and doing a flight? Thanks and Keep making these terrific videos!
That oil refinery u passed is currently owned by CHS. plus that refinery is a good way to know u r nearing Billings.

Trust me Montana summers are miserable. But I lived in billings for a while before I headed to a smaller town in northeast Montana but it’s a beautiful city.

As a former Schneider driver myself, I do enjoy your videos, but maybe next time use a Freightliner Cascadia, their Orange color is mainly used for training when I drove for them back in ‘18-‘19
We've had snow here in Redding California at the north end of the Sacramento Valley elevation is a little over 500ft but we got some snow recently it's melted since then

It's a good video. Just a few technical details like Schneider not using volvos and they stopped using orange tractors because they were difficult to resell. If you want a Schneider hat let me know. Recruiter dropped off a bunch

@Jeff Favignano, wow what a great setup with that sim equipment, I didn't even know such advanced equipment was even out! I remember riding in a big rig as a kid, one of my brother's friends. That thing was so loud tho and I felt like I needed a spinal decompression after the trip, lol. I enjoyed the video! I've often wondered how much $$ is lost tho in time/property damage from trying to maneuver certain spaces and backing up. It's crazy how many videos there are of truckers causing damage to street lights/signs etc., as well as other trucks at truck stops. We have backup cameras on pretty much all passenger vehicles these days, why not have cameras/LED's on trailers to aid with views along with LED lights to illuminate surroundings. As for the engine sound, I ♥it! The rumble and turbo spooling sounds so authentic!

I worked for Schneider for a little bit. They don't run Volvo's anymore that I know of. I was given an old asf Freightshaker with no APU and I couldn't keep the thing running at night to stay warm. Kind of sucked tbh. I think they run all Modern Frieghtliners and Internationals. Some of their backup trucks are T680's. I was MUCH happier working for Variant/U.S Xpress.

@@jfavignano I too enjoy the Volvo. I wish more companies IRL ran them. The are luxurious, especially compared to a freightshaker.
My whole fleet drive a Volvo and the DAF in ETS2 but the DAF Transmission seems have an issue with the RPMs. I tried using the standard transmission, but the Logitech H-Shifter is not easy. I keep hitting the wrong key to go to the next 6 gears or back. 🙂

Hoping SCS might update the Volvo at some point, it’s an ugly duckling but such a good truck.
I heard that they are going to add a new updated VNL in the future (I Don't Know When) as well as the Peterbilt 389X which is Peterbilt's last classic style truck before they Discontinue that model and just focus on the newer trucks.
