Wonderful episode. I am living in a small seaside town on the Baltic Sea. 20 years ago most things were cheap but all the foreigners told the restaurant owners how nice and cheap the food is, much cheaper than back home. Today food is way more expensive than in the foreigners home town you can certainly see why. So pls don't talk about low prices. Just be happy and don't talk about it.

Haha almost, one night we bought our own whole watermelon and hiked back down the cliffs with it 😆

I love Greece, the people are super nice, they go out of their way to accommodate tourists, and the lands and waters are incredibly stunning. I'm glad that you liked my country and the islands ! Now , that island with the abandone monastery which is dated since 1700 , is actually private. Belongs to the Venturis family from Kimolos island and the name is St.George as the church name ! Honestly I don't know why is so underutilised !!

This was beautiful. I bet it was a great and enjoyable way to explore Greece (even a way to see more of it than most do) and even a great way to appreciate the country by sailing its waters.

Vacationing as well. They bought a boat in Australia in the pandemic. John got his licence and they spent 6 months sailing up the coast of aus. That’s how they met Chris. He also owns a boat and I was the rookie 😁

Greece has been a dream of mine for a very long time. That church you hiked up to, that had a winding path and a fabulous view, looks like the church from the movie Mamma Mia! Looks like you had a marvellous time and I’m just a little bit green with envy!
Mama mia was filmed in Skopelos island. It's also very beautiful and has much more greenery than the Cyclades. You are welcome to visit anytime.
