@@mattk8810 Fr. Feels like no one bothered to listen and they’re all hung up on the juice part. It’s just that juice and sherbet with a teaspoon of fruit shouldn’t be advertised as healthy, lol.
I work at Jamba Juice. We HAVE to use the juice. They don’t seem to understand smoothies don’t work without juice, so of course it’s mostly lemonade. There isn’t added sugars, it all natural sugars.
Shadow Productions ikr they act like you can just blend just the fruits to get a smoothie. You can’t easily ask to have almond milk or water instead of the juice
Coming from a manager at Jamba Juice I can promise you there is no added sugar in our drinks. Just natural fruit & the juices because smoothies of course have to have a liquid to become a smoothie! We do have smoothies with sherbet but just ask and we can always let you know which ones do and which ones don’t. There is a all fruit / veggie option on every menu! & you can always switch out the sherbet for fruit so it is an all fruit smoothie for the smoothies that DO have added sherbet ! Every jamba juice has a menu in their lobby! It is a customers bestfriend when you want to know what’s 100% in the smoothie or just ask your local jamba team member & they should know!♥️ much love, a fellow jamba manager !
I know I commented months ago when I first started working but lemme also add GREENS & GINGER: for a small size: 9 oz lemonade 2 oz of freshly ginger (juiced in our store no longer than 3 hours prior to use) 2 MEDIUM SIZED SCOOPER scoops of frozen kale 2 small sized scoops of frozen mangoes 2 small sized scoops of frozen peaches when it's ready to blend, what I PERSONALLY see is mostly kale and fruits with some ginger and lemonade and I wonder how its even gonna blend well because we usually put 5 scoops of solids per smoothie So GMA picked the wrong drink to make false claims about. that's a smoothie that's on the healthier side. the 9oz of lemonade might not be the best, but everything else outweighs it. ESPECIALLY the kale and ginger. if you wanna talk about a misleading "healthy" drink, go for the acai super anti-oxidant. small size: 6 oz of sweetened soymilk 3 oz of acai concentrate 1 scoop of raspberry sherbet 2 scoops of frozen strawberries 1 scoop of frozen blueberries 1 scoop (about a tablespoon size) of daily vitamin + Zinc powder (which is actually what makes the smoothie a "healthy selection") That, and the Orance C-Booster/Coldbuster would be misleading everything else on the menu is exactly what it says, and there are so many healthy selections to choose from, and youre just reaching (Can you tell I had some time on my hands? lol)
If you've ever tasted one them you'd never suspect it to be healthy. Lol anything that says "juice blend" in the ingredients, typically has already been pulverized to death. No smoothie is good for fiber but if you're sensitive about ingredients then *make it yourself* lol slow news day??
Once upon a time, I was addicted to this. I had them almost everyday at work. I usually got them with both fruits and vegetables. Those were the days! I miss this so much!
my sister works here and makes these smoothies and she knows exactly whats going in there and she tells me that it is very good and they put what they say they put in there. Of course now she works now when they stopped putting bad stuff in their drinks.
I just recently started drinking Jamba Juice, in fact I just had one this morning and this pops up in my feed. Wow! Will just start blending my own at home to ensure I’m getting the most healthiest from my smoothies
DONT WORRY! i work at jamba juice you can chooose our healthy juice smoothies too, this is misleading, there are smoothies with a mixture of sherbert and real fruits, and smoothies that are just real fruits! haha i feel like im going all over the comments telling people this we have a full menu of 100% juices that we squeeze right there and you can also ask us to substitute a scoop of sherbert for a scoop of fruits (for free) for any smoothie, and substitute the juices for water or whatever youd do at home. but ya :)
[in regards to the smoothies only] The store I worked in was a small nook inside a college food court and a juicer would not fit in the store, thus we didnt sell their freshly squeezed juices (which are in fact 100% and pretty good but smoothies on the other hand….) Really didnt address their claim across since Green N Ginger is in fact prob one of the healthiest options you can get there. Ive worked at Jamba because I loved their products so much. Until I found out the recipes to all their drinks and they all follow the same pattern. How they market their products as “healthy” and how they try to upsell a customer without really telling you which “Small” you want. You have to say 16 oz or theyll charge for a Medium (22 oz). Yes they do deliver on their whole fruits and their juices are made from concentrate but the label says 100% juice. Im still confused by that but i just work there too. For sure, they taste delicious because of their high sugar and carb content. Personally, I would not prefer to drink Jamba anymore cause I actually gained weight in the goal of losing. I agree it can be seen as an option for a healthier dessert or “snack” option once in a while. All their classic smoothies contain fruit & sherbert. Misleading. Their specialty drinks such as the açaí antioxidants, matcha blast, orange c booster, chocolate mood are the worst to order as they consist mainly sherbet (4 scoops + 1-2 fruits) Their secret menu recipes are majority 4 scoops of sherbet and a scoop of fruit (5 sliced pieces) such as the white/blue/red gummi or the pink starburt. The flavor mainly comes from the juice/milk base and the sherbet for its sugar content. Thats why it taste so good. If you switch a peach or banana in a same base juice. It will not change the flavor nearly or at all. Dont tell me about marketing… so Surf Rider at my store advertised the lemonade as lemons (as a whole food when its actually just lemonade) the sherbet as an actual lime (actually lime sherbet), fresh peach and strawberry (frozen). For the carribean passion, advertised as passion fruit (picture of a guava), oranges, (did not mention its a sherbet) with strawberry and peaches. And top off with 3 scoops of ice to fill up your cup (like starbucks). If news reporters ATLEAST mentioned something like this then maybe it wouldve been a decent story but they didnt. After jamba, I never fully believe what they sell but I wouldnt want to ruin someones view on jamba unless they really wanted that healthier option. I still go there once a year for a treat but I would rather support smaller mom and pop businesses that are more transparent and truthful about their local ingredients and their employees than a money hungry corporate business. (My owner of our franchise was cheap enough to charge people straws and wouldnt let us go to the bathroom unless if it was during a 10 min break. Their focus is more on fast production & profit > quality as any other corporate business. Hope this helped someone.
I used to work at Jamba Juice and have been trying to go back. When I worked there I was SO healthy because of the nutrients I was consuming. It was all made fresh.
It doesn’t have mango or orange, but it has frozen banana and strawberry, two big scoops of each. It has a pango liquid base and two scoops of orange sorbet

there are juices that are freshly squeezed/naturally sweetened, but most of the juices are from concentrate, so juices that you'd find in stores (not 100% juice, more like a flavored drink) but that's what we use as the base of the smoothie- the rest is whatever the customer decides to put in there, whether it's all fruits, or sherbet + fruit etc. possibilities are endless. ~prices may vary~ lol i sound like an ad. i need a raise

I am here because of Travis and Drake…
0:39 dislike the video. My guy is wearing a Scottish rugby top. I’m done
It really is good tho
There’s a shit ton of sugar in every smoothie they have, this really isn’t that surprising lmao. Even the green “healthy” smoothie has like 30 grams of sugar for a small, which in itself puts you over the recommended sugar limit for a whole day.
Blue sky is the best one
So I did some math legit a milkshake no ice cream can easily beat these fruit smoothies instead of ice cream use fruited and honey with cold milk
Holy shit, I have drank a couple of Jamba Juices recently....:.am I going to fucking die now?????? This isn’t good...my kids are so young!
🤣😂🤣
compared to everything else they’re selling ? compared to all the other sugary drinks like a naked drink and ice teas processed foods. n MILK that they constantly advertise is good for you do not listen, go get Jamba Juice❕ at least you can get vitamins
I want jamba jamba eat now!!
my hobby is jamba juice
Ahem..
Its called Jamba JUICE not Jamba fruits. So yes they are gonna have juice. If the smoothies where just fruit, it would be to thick to serve.
Jamba means Fart in Swahili :)
WHAT ABOUT MC DONALS, STARBUCKS ?
Holy cow it full of sugar
