Why not get a duvet instead? 😅
@Amar Syed duvet doesn't help. I had a duvet and a blanket. Tried duvet only in Chicago didn't help I had to put on the blanket and duvet combined still didn't help great
This is soo true !!
😂😂
You have to be born and raised in the north to be able to handle the bone shaking cold
That alarm will never get old 😂😂
How can i download the alarm sound ?
@@btas8417 not sure maybe iTunes but idk what ring tone that is
has to be the worst alarm i've ever heard in a good way
I found the alarm btw just search it on google

@@OryanMcLean Mate you should see the state of the Roads my dad used to get to work
@@OryanMcLeanbuddy in Aus truckers have to watch out for a lot of things like road animals human and the weather I would like to see u drive a truck for at least 12 hours. Remember if trucks stop Australia stops
@@VexdOnPC literally everything you just said also applies to America truck driving
@@OryanMcLean you dont know anything about it, i worked in logistics office and our drivers who drive to germany used to get extra safety measures because their cabins used to get robbed etc thieves even use some kinds of stun gas to rob the truck cabins and stuff like that its not safe bro
Truckers are the backbone of every company and country, because of truckers we are able to get food and items so quickly.
Thank you, Alex.
The sleeping bag def saved me a few times years ago when I had a truck with a non working bunk heater. Woke up many mornings with most of the stuff inside the truck frozen due to the temps but at least I was warm.
props to you man👍 give you props for that🫡
For how long have you been on the road Dion
But why are you a dumbass for not taking more blankets and sleeping bags with you when you're f****** traveling in the cold weather
Why not a blanket since he was in walmart? Maybe even a heated blanket
Gets too cold it wont start, company needs to install a heater like a proheat, an APU or idle it.
I just want to say thank you for the work you do to keep this country running. I feel like it can't be said enough.
As soon as I saw that those winds were causing trucks to lose control I began to think about all the warning signs about high winds (and experiencing them) while driving from Texas to Nogales and from Nogales to Utah. Pretty neat to see that it actually was along some of the same routes I was thinking of.
Nothing like a nice shower and a cup of hot coffee to start the day.

Ya'll truckers are a different breed. Much respect! Be safe out there!
I like how you keep yourself and ur truck clean, tidy and organized.
this guy is not only a responsible truck driver, but also a W dad
W dad for sure, and pretty responsible driver - but it was extremely hypocritical of him to talk about road safety in ice when he's driving one handed with a palm whilst on the phone. One slide and he's fucked.
@@toffeelatte6042 Yea, probably. But trucking in America is just different with all the assists the trucks have and the pure straight line roads
I thought I was the only one who sometimes shake my legs when I wake up...😂😂😂
Aren't we all?

I swear😂😂
Why? I just stretch
My husband and I team drive from Cali to PA and back. Best decision I ever made getting my CDL. I love going cross country. It takes 5-6 days each trip. Love your channel bro. Keep it up.
You're what good dads are made of. Respect my friend. 👍
What an amazing dude sacrificing your time with family so they can have a good life and still thinking about your children on the road you should be proud of yourself Alex
The crazy miles your Tio has hauled man is crazy. All that we have came from a truck! Props to ya both. Keep truckin!! 💪🏽💪🏽
New Mexico!! Thank you for putting a shout out !!! Love your videos man!! Am not a trucker but a diesel mechanic!!! Watching you from Los Lunas NM. Stay safe my friend 🙏🙏👍
Being from Florida. I will take that kind of weather. I absolutely cannot sleep in the heat/humidity etc.. I camped in North Georgia last year and it was about 20° and I had a 0° sleeping bag from Coleman. Worked great.
You aint lying sleeping in that humididity in miami. Tried it in a car holy shit! Finding shade in the summer was like finding gold!
I love how real this feels. Like, no over the top energy, no bringing your kids to Florida eveey 2 weeks, no giant mansion. Just a dude who is a trucker talking to himself with a healthy dose of comedy sprinkled in. So wonderful, i love it.
Jfc Tone it down a little.
Being a driver here in Amarillo it was super cool to see you start your day here in the city I call home , be safe !
I went on a road trip through the west last week. We went through 8 states and the weather was crazy. We saw so many accidents in just a few days. Im working my CDL so my eyes were opened for sure. It really was a good experience to see. I fell in love with that coffee you had. I had it every stop at the gas station. Love you videos. Be carful and Good Bless you and your family.
Find an electric mat that you put on top of the mattress. Plug it in to the cigarette lighter and it will keep you toasty.
New Mexico thanks you for bringing us our needs.
Flagstaff AZ gets lots of snow! Awesome when Arizona gets so much dry heat. You are having fun now? You are a good dad! Kids always like presents!
Thank you for the video. You and your Uncle stay safe out there.
Hey Alex that alarm never gets old
I camp a lot with my family in a tent for my kids' motocross racing up here in Canada. I highly recommend Gobi Heat battery powered blankets. On low setting it can last 6 hours and it's plenty warm, especially with a sleeping bag. We're able to get through nights close to freezing 0 celcius in a breezy tent.
Barefoot in a public restroom is wild 😷
It’s 👉🏻 FOOLISH
Should grab two plastic bags for your feet 😂
dude's telling us to have crocs with us whenever goes into a truck stop shower. like every video
Bruh no wonder I was like wtf this is some dejavu 😂
Excellent! High respect to you. Keep up the great work.
I appreciate you and all truckers as we depend on you.
Thank you for everything you do for us.
I thought I was the only one that shakes my legs like that when I wake up lmao 🤣
Coldest I've experienced was -20 degrees Fahrenheit in Ely Nevada 3 months ago. I didn't sleep that night, just a little eye closure here and there.
I remember those good old days OTR, I miss it !!! Keep Driving bro!
My brother and sister in law were in the biz so I have respect for what you guys do. I would have liked to try but am partially blind so that made it a no go for me. Stay safe out there.
I’d be so cozy sleeping in that cold weather I can’t wait to go otr
Just my input for cold-weather camping.
1. Make sure you have a bag that's rated for the temps you are sleeping in. (Note the rating is for safety/survival, not necessarily comfort.)
2. Get yourself some nice thermal socks or sleep booties to keep your toes warm and a good fleece cap.
I keep all of that as my extreme cold weather car kit for emergencies. If you get a modular sleeping bag like they use in the military you are set for pretty much any temp even if you have no heat in the truck.
Yup my bunk heater went out in Chicago in December it was a rough 3 days.out 8 weeks and home for 5 days, did that for two years.
Thank you sir for everything you do. Truly appreciate you…
As someone who works 6 12.5 hour shifts in a row and video times my daughter as much as i can during shifts, it makes me feel better knowing someone else is doing the hard yards as well.
respect man fr
Love those truck campers. Look so cozy and comfortable.
It's a sleeper.not a truck camper. A camper go's on the bed of a pickup. Daaaaaa
Keep making ur videos man ❤ur a hard working man that u take care of your family
Not a truck driver myself, but I travel all over the southeast for work. Those Pilot showers are amazing after a long day's work and a long drive. Stopped at one to clean up one night and I just didn't want to leave it was so nice and clean in there. Back then it was like 12 dollars a shower, I think they're a lot more expensive now, but it was wayyy worth it.
Those showers are $17 now.
@dzmitrysmelav3010 They were $7 or $10 when I left trucking in 2007!
LIFE ON THE ROAD BABY! I LOVE IT! 😍
You have an amazing family Alex. I’m sure traveling like this is really tough at times but you have a strong bond with your son and wife. Keep up the good work man. Making me want to become a trucker 😂
Stand up guy man!

Dang man . That sleeping bag must me real comfy
The coldest night of sleeping in my truck was at -41F in Butte, Montana. Cab and sleeper were toasty warm and I slept like a baby!
I had a -15 in Montana just turned on my bunk heater and slept awesome
Good family man I see too. That’s a great start, enjoy!
That’s a real nice truck you have! It’s good you take care of it so well. Be careful this world is crazy ✌️
Great set up! I have the same sleeping bag! Keeps me very warm in my truck too. But I haven’t tested it in freezing weather yet. PS, your alarm is maddening lol 💪
i think its hilarious that you must have gotten up, set up the camera, made sure your giggity alarm is set, then get back in your sleeping bag, just so you can get that shot for us and wake up again.... dedication!!
Yo bro thank you so much for everything you do to make sure goods are delivered. You are awesome 💯. Taquerias FTW! 🤙🏼
The leg shake never gets old I do it every morning 0:21
It's illegal not to do it
Alex! Because of you I made my alarm the ‘Giggity’ one you have 😂
20° weather sounds amazing.
I salute you bro for what you do . Real legend
Have you considered using a ratchet strap to connect your two doors together so you can tighten it so the doors hold each other shut. That way no mater how hard someone pulls the opposite door stops the one their pulling on keeps the door from moving. That way your seat belts won’t get damaged or worn out.
u r such a great dad thinking about ur son even when ur not with him ❤

Dude! No freaking way! That’s my home town! Flagstaff Az. I miss that place so much. Beautiful town. Wow. 🤯 great video.
Bro you work super hard you deserve all them snacks and more haha 😂
I love watching your video sm, because it reminds of my father who recently passed away. You two have very very similar jobs, although he doesnt exports things, he sells so he's a salesman and he uses a truck too but not that big and luxurious. If I remember correctly its called a panel, and I would just sleep in the back when it gets too boring😂. And whenever I watch a video with your kids in it, I just see myself as that kid years ago. My father returns home every 8 months, but that depends honestly. And he would come back with toys and oversized cargo shorts😂. And he's the one thing I wait for because he sometimes misses christmas and new year, and rarely my birthday. Although he makes up for it by coming home❤. I just know that your kids memories with you on the truck will forever be a precious memories in their life.
I’m sorry for your lost bro he sound like a very good man he is in a good place now always keep your head up I don’t worry about what the mean people say
@@Mizo2 Thank you man❤️
You welcome bro
16 years 48 state from 86 - 2002 out of Vancouver Wa . Good sleeping bag at least a minus 20° and a large good quality wool blanket. You can always open up to adjust the heat if you get to hot. I run Montana and Wyoming alot going to east coast so spent a lot of time in some really cold places. Any place north of I 70 you need to be able to survive the cold during winter months. If you fold the blanket in half and put the sleeping bag berween the top and bottom you never get cold especially in places that don't let you idle your truck. I have a wool blanket from Cabelas thats been used since the early 90s in trucking, RVing, Camping. A wool blanket will keep you warm even when wet.
Nothing worse then being sick on the road under a Refrigerated freight produce load with that tight schedule.
That morning stretch hits hard 😅
Hope you feel better soon be safe stay alert and God bless 😊❤
Hope you feel better, big bro. ❤ I'm always saying it's this weirdo weather man. How it goes from hot to cold, cold to hot, etc. Our bodies just go wtf? Lol.
The leg stretch hits hard
Hahah your alarm clock sound thanks for the chuckle 😅😅😅
Alex, I'm making a video driving from North Carolina to Deerfield Mass to pick up a couple loads and get contracts renewed for my company. I'm taking my partner's 10 speed Peterbilt it's actually fun driving a manual to me. I'm still trying to find someone to do this run for me because I'm so far from the office, I'm also having my rookie following me. This run allows me to relaxe though. You got a new truck and I was like cool for you. Make alot of money with it bro. Keep safe amigo!
Hope you feel better bro

The glamorous life of trucking!
Your alarm to wake up lol its the best man
I've got a sleeping bag rated for 0 degrees, the apu on my truck went out so I can't use the heater. It's been about 20 degrees lately on average, I've been fine. I was in Wyoming and it was -20 and the heat went out, that was a problem.
Hey Alex, like your videos. However, please use your engine brake more, will save on wear and tear on your actual brakes. Engine brake is on the shifter column. You pull that column down for your levels of jake brake.
God bless you and ur family mate keep it up !
Lol look at all that snow. 44” in 24 hours two years ago for me. Upstate New York here. Got to get a good Coleman sleeping bag. I go winter camping, in what’s called a hot tent. I have a small wood stove for the hot tent. It’s a lot of fun. Safe driving Bro.
