I'm glad Jeremy and Kat found their lost son. Now they have 5 lovely children and I'm so happy for them.
Omg the ending made me laugh so hard, then made me cry. Hope Jeremy and Kat sees this video it's such a great story
There was an additional twist in that story in that Dan kept the postcard of Scooter on his fridge because he found the name Scooter so charming. So he had a reference pic of Scooter on his fridge all that time and that’s how suspected he had seen Scooter nearby.
There's a legitimate possibility that Scooter wouldn't have been found if his name had been anything else, bc the guy could've thrown out the post card. Who knew the most important decision made in this cats life was when Jeremy gave him his name. So glad he was found! (Especially since Jeremy said that distance wise of the 1,000 or so post cards this dude was probably in the 900's, so Scooter made it a ways out from his home)
I was worried because he seemed legit heartbroken when scooter ran away
So I've been out of the loop on AH and everyone in it since the whole RH thing, and so I hadn't heard about this happening at all. So this video legit made me cry, I'm so sad that Kat and Jeremy had to suffer for 6 whole months, but so glad that it eventually ended happily

I was so overjoyed when I heard they found scooter, he lost him a few days after I had to put my cat down, I had my baby for 18 years so it really hit home seeing Jeremy lose scooter
I hear-by declare that if any of us have sons we name them Dan in honor of the hero of this story.
Jeremy and I went through the stages of grief at the same time. My dog died around the time Scooter went missing. I didn’t know Scooter came home. I’m glad one of us got our best friend back.
Edit: Harley was terminally ill, but I wasn’t emotionally or mentally prepared for it when it happened. It was a devastating shock. We also slept together like J and Scoot. That’s her in my profile pic.

When my GF lost her cat for a single night she had an entire breakdown and I had to try and calm her down telling her that the cat was an outside cat that used to live in the streets and to trust that he'll come back. Can't imagine what 6 month would do to her.

Also, at the vet clinic, they were told that it might be a long wait but when the person found out what they needed, they took them back a lot sooner. They also didn't charge them for it because its so rare to find your cat again after 7 months. Scooter has the most gorgeous green eyes ive seen and the way he and Jeremy interact is absolutely adorable
I never knew this happened till it was talked about on offtopic I think. Glad they got their fur baby back!
My cat holly ran away a long time ago, my family tried everything we could to get her back and we didn’t know where she was for like 4 months. We knew she was alive because we heard her every once in a while in our backyard. One day when I was doing drugs(please don’t do drugs, my experience it just makes you feel like shit) I found her dead in the road. I blamed myself for so so so long, so Jeremy losing his cat broke my heart in the same exact way
I actually had to pause the video at 5:38 and take a few minutes to cry. It was instantaneous from happy to broken as I am going through a similar situation at the moment. I am soooooooo happy that in the end, Scooter eventually came home.

I lost my cat this year for 2 months & I know exactly how Jeremy & Kat must have felt. Except when someone sent me a picture of a cat that matched my missing post online, I knew the moment I saw the picture that it was my son. And it was! He's back home & safe, but what a Rollercoaster of emotions for the 2months he was gone, & the 1 month after he returned.
Great work, I laughed and I cried.

I'm so glad I found this video, I didn't fully keep up with this story and I just remembered Jeremy giving up on ever finding his cat again. It was very sad. Knowing that they eventually reunited and all is well makes me so happy! Good for the entire family.

Kind of hits close to home for me. I lost two out of the three cats I had because my family decided to let them be outside cats like freaking morons, and kept letting them go outside no matter how much I tried to keep them inside. I repeatedly told them to not let them outside, because our house was surrounded by forest and I knew that they could get lost at anytime. Turns out that I was right and they're still missing not knowing if they're alive or dead. What's even worse is that they then got rid of our third cat and gave her to someone else like she was nothing.

This had me in tears of joy. I remembered I lost my cat he came back a month later. Now he doesn’t like going outside. He was at my old house when I moved to the new one. The way he saw me and my mom he ran and jumped and we took him to the vet and it was him. I was 16 now I’m 25 now and he’s still living his life.

Bruh Scooter is fuckin strong. My cat also went missing but for a shorter time (a month and a half) and when I found her randomly while I was on a walk, she was all skin and bones and had to be confined cause it turned out she was sick

I understand the feeling of not being able to find my pet.
I have a cat we nicknamed Bag who frequently escapes. However, his escapes are short loved because I guess what happens normally is cats get scared and panic, so they run away. But Bag just gives 0 F's and goes like 10 feet out the door to chew on the nearest grass (No he's not eating it, no he doesn't have an upset tummy (he has special food for his old man tummy), he's putting his scent on it to claim more turf). We'll see him, scoop his little orange butt up and bring him inside. Once he snuck out and we didn't see him and was out there for an hour before my dad came home and saw him sitting on the front step (like "hey I wanna go back in now"). Really the biggest danger is something else eating him, which is why we don't take him being outside lightly and bring him back in as soon as we see he escaped. But he makes a run for it at least a few times a month and makes an attempt almost every day. We joke he's in the negatives of his 9 lives. I'm so glad Scooter was found, and couldn't imagine Bag being gone for more than a few minutes. Every time even though I know he doesn't go far I still panic.

I swear, if you ever get a Tabby, put a GPS tracker or get their name tattooed on them. That's the only way you'll ever sort them out from their 100 million twin brothers and sisters when you're looking for them.
I'll start this off with i'm very great full for the information she provided because i was really sad when they lost scoot and i'm glad he's home... but i really hate that there was such a dramatic emphasis on pretty much everything, for me it's not my thing to find enjoyment in other peoples sad stories (even with a happy ending) but i do have to emphasize thank you for making a video since i do not have twitter to find out the story on there
