Thanks man. This is the first time I’ve made a profit off of death metal. By profit, I mean less than a day’s pay. Since all my gear was bought before I started this venture. I think I’m doing ok. I would rather people hear my stuff for free on CZcams. Than not at all.
As for being a tradesman. I would rather do that than be stuck in an office
Absolutely, people definitely need to hear your stuff. I've been in stationary engineering for so long I couldn't imagine doing anything else. I could never sit in an office either.

I’m a field service tech. For construction equipment. I rarely do automotive. I’m changing oil on a skid loader in this video. But I totally hear what you’re saying. It costs me a little under $30 to do the family car.

@@GhoulishDave I have been a musician since I was 14. I played in many bands that barely made it out of the jam room. As well as a few that didn’t make it more than a few months of shows. I’ve never done the music to make a living. Hell, if every one of my subscribers bought my cd. My cut would be slightly less than two weeks pay. I just want people to hear it. And hopefully they like it

@@GhoulishDave I appreciate all you just said. Thank you. Unfortunately I didn’t play live or record anything from age 36-46. At age 46 or just turned 47. I released my song Night Marchers. My entire CZcams guitar journey. Started around 2 years ago. Because some guy at work didn’t believe me. When I said I play guitar. Then it was like shit. I have recording gear. I should do something. What’s the worst thing that could happen? Someone I don’t know tells me I suck? Thankfully my wife and kids are super supportive of me. I’ve met some other people that believe in what I do. It’s awesome.

That's a real man's job , outside in all types of weather working on heavy machinery and getting dirty. Dickskinners would be all sore and mangled. I have a p---y security job in a gatehouse with air conditioning and wi-fi. We both have the option to listen to music while working though.

@@thatmediocreguitarist I’m not saying that. You could be one of the lucky. There were paths I took in life that weren’t the best for being a full time musician. For example. I was in the army from 1994-2002. That doesn’t really allow for time as a musician.
