Gladly, as a US citizen, I moved to another country already, I left the US last year in November. I feel a sense of relief 😅
where to?
Were you born and raised in US?
@@huwhitecavebeast1972 I hope it's not too soon.
How much planning did you do before you left? Did you just have a few suitcases with you like others have said?
I am trying to join you lol!
🌹Every family have that one person who break the family’s financial struggle, I hope you become the one
The answer is - put your fear away. Just buy the plane ticket and try it. The relief is amazing!
I do one month in Thailand, one in Dubai and sometimes one in Brazil. As long as you have your ticket out, Thailand will allow you to stay for 3 months in any 6 month period.
My wife and I are going to live in Portugal for 3 months this is a trial run baby step to the bigger picture livening in Portugal!❤
Thanks Andrew, I'm a four figure retiree, but I appreciate the time and information you put into these videos. Take care.
Foreigners can start business in India, and could stay in India. Recently India replaced US $ to encourage international investors/ business partners.
Many foreigners join Yoga study program and stay for many months, even years. ( 6 -12 months , 2 / 3 / 4 years depending upon the duration of the program) Tuition fee will be 1500 $ - 3000 per year and food & living costs just 3000 $ for bachelor. 😊
I do live as a western expat in a latin american country, as you see with the case of Andrew Tate it's all well and good to live in a country with a corrupt government who will ignore most laws, but not good when they turn that corruption on you, problem is most western countries are catching up in that corruption and are worse in a lot of levels.
Tate said about this, not Breaking the law will not protect you, if they want to get you.
@@whiterabit09 he broke the many times over
I absolutely LOVE that vase.
Hi Andrew thank-you . For making videos Brian D. Can't you to another video on Serbia properties sometime or properties for somebody of low-income. Starter. Couple years ago you did want on properties in Serbia for 6000 how's the landscape over there now or do you recommend Ireland now.
Good to have you back.
Andrew, have you looked into the current requirements to receiving residency to Colombia lately?
Oh Wow!!
I needed to hear this
Thank you
Glad it was helpful.
Great advice.
Have you done a video on money: credit cards, how to exchange to local currency, banking, etc
Hey Andrew, do you have a list for (the best) countries for Americans to obtain a work permit? Thank you!
Thank you
Even if you move to a clountry like Portugal and get the ten year exempt does that mean you do not have to pay any tax in the US as long as you file in Portugal? I got the ten year exempt in 2019 and file in both countries but pay in the US. This year I am concerned about paying capital gains on sold stocks. Where is it best to file?
can you make a video for nomads with young kids under 3 years of age who want live abroad and work remotely
So, how does an average American who DOES NOT make a six-figure income? How would that work? Or is it even possible?
Not worth it unless you have over 5 million
@@svensulzmann4282 Remember they never give you the same prices as locals in Vietnam they will ask 30 percent more and its similar in Eastern Europe.
Ask Andrew, call his team, and see what they say.
Perhaps not if your looking to reduce your taxes, but I’m asking in the contexts of simply living abroad for more economical and quality of life.
You do not need to be a nomad capitalist, whatever that means. You do not need a second citizenship at all costs. You can just live a normal life, take a vacation if you can afford, just to quench the Fomo and also realise that the grace isn't necessarily greener anywhere.
Money makes the world go round and makes dreams come true 😉
I like what you say but I kind of want to make one country my main base and integrate into the local culture. Taxes as long as they aren't ridiculously high or aren't used in ways I don't agree with are in after thought.
I was wondering this, if I was wanting to move to work in another country, is it better to get a work or residence visa? Thank you!😊
Planning to save over 2 years' worth of living expenses ($35K to $65K) and then move overseas to sink or swim by self-employment in Thailand, Malaysia, or Cambodia. Good or bad idea?
If you have means to recover should it go wrong I think it’s a fantastic idea, I’m on the same path currently, saving to go to Thailand and Malaysia
I would say to have separate money set aside for living expenses than business so that way should the business go belly up you’re not starving yourself immediately.
@@chiloi5875 I will resort down to Teach ESL after 2 years of assumable failure. If I succeed, however, then my story continues from there obviously.
Hey, dude, my expenses to live in Vietnam are about $7,000 a year (renting a three story mansion in the city center and vacations once a week). As long as you have a net of $10,000 a year it’s technically enough. I do recommend you avoid the main cities and try a smaller city to get better return on value … Cambodia is cheapest currently and has a very unique expat community.
@@simplyshoeless8798 Thanks for the heads-up! Could you share what you are doing for a living? Besides teaching English as an Expat?
The problem is that they are going to reduce to the point of banning flights (net zero) and also as a result of cbdc they will have control over our expenses
You don’t need citizenship to move to another country! Just a visa to stay longer term. You can visit for up to 90 days, in Europe, for example. Residence permit can come after you buy a property, if that’s your goal. You can just rent too.
Do you know if you can work with a residence permit?
First get a visa?
Regarding residence permit and descent, India has the OCI... Overseas Citizen of India. I have it in my US Passport. It is more of their equivalent of a Green Card...not quite a citizenship. You get it by your ancestry, and family ties. You can't be having ties to any of India's neighbors though... India only.
Me, I have it more as a standing multiple entry visa to go back and forth into India. My wife, originally from Vietnam, could theoretically get an OCI for India, but she has no desire, as she has a US Passport and a Vietnam Passport.
Me, I have a 5 years visa waiver for Vietnam. It is technically a residence permit. I have it because of my wife. Similar to my OCI for India.
One can get these kinds of things pretty easily. I would only use an agent when it's mandatory, or if I wanted convenience. For my case, and that of my wife, we have done this without the use of agents.
Nice info on residence permits👍🙂
Good to see you back Andrew, your team are lovely but unfortunately I identify with people who are entrepreneurs like myself.
It makes it much easier if you marry someone from the country where you wish to live, then you will be able to become a permanent resident or citizen.
How do I move to the USA? Is there a booklet with a step-by-step guide ?
Just go to the Texas Mexican border. And tell them that you love Joe Biden.
What do you think about colombia for more than six months?
Just remember to take your body armor.
@@murraymuntain3720 I went for six weeks and didn't have any problems :)
$50 million🤣🤣 average American?
Some people watch too muchTV like Beverly Hills 90210😁
Only if you're young and rich.
What if a country doesn't require a tourist visa? Is it still possible to move to another country?
Yeah, but it's dependent with your nationality and where you live
@@justreflexes4329 It'll be Serbia
@@Imhim247 - No problem there, as long as you really love Putin.
@@Phantom0fTheRouter I'm not a politic fan by any means. I just want to go there and possibly live there
Get a job, do au pair work, go to a university, go to language school, go first as a tourist to make local contacts, do an informal exchange while in high school...are a few ways I've seen work well for Americans seeking to live abroad.
😢As a female with paksitani passport ??
I already know I want to live in China... I've been learning Mandarin for 2 years, I know a lot about the culture, and I want to leave America for so many reasons, the increasing prices of everything, taxes, gas, everything is so expensive here, and I don’t feel like get paid well for how much everything costs... meanwhile the cost of living in China is a lot cheaper, plus usd is worth a lot more, so if I save up enough money, I can pay for a nice house for a while... I may want to live in Vietnam too, I know a little Vietnamese, and a lot about their culture too... I really don't want to disrespect the culture when I arrive in the country is my biggest thing
I love America, but hate living here
Learn the language, and culture If you don't, you will NOT be welcome
Learning languages in places Andrew recommends is HARD and takes years but must be done.
@@svensulzmann4282 A week ago my friend called his bank overseas and asked for english so told himthey would call him back in few minutes as usual no one called him back You really MUST learn the language.
@@svensulzmann4282 Regarding Georgian, Russian, Serbian, and Malaysian those apps don't work well and it takes many years of lessons

Millions of expats live in Spain and don't learn Spanish or participate in their culture and get along just fine.Expats are there for the sun, blue skies and cheaper living costs. They stick to themselves.
Anyone here gained citizenship by decent? Wondering how lengthy and difficult (or simple) the process is

@@nomadcapitalist amazing! Looking forward to hearing about it
Yes, my dad was from Canada, in the end researching the data needed (his parents' full names and places of birth) was the trickiest part since he didn't want to help. But it was absolutely worth it, would be easier if your family is less stubborn.

People underestimate how hard it is to move abroad and thats disaster.
