I liked the pre 2023 dash a lot.
You can get the Pure model. Old dash, lower price. No quickshifter wiring, though.
It looked like a $10 kids watch from 2010
so what it worked really well at what it did. @@tomtemple69
@@superleggenda so its literally 2022 model
@@c0ndu exactly. Which is what OP wanted.
I'm 37 and a stocky guy and just done my cbt (again) for my 125 gilera runner that I've just rebuild after sitting behind my shed for 6 years after being hit by a car. The instructor was a d.a.s instructor and asked if I had any big bike experience which I said yes from riding my brothers r1 big bang and he said I might let you ride this later which I thought he was joking so I just laughed it off. After half a day riding the 125 and finished doing the emergency stop he said to jump on his bike which was an mt07 700 and let me ride it for the rest of the day and straight away I fell in love with it. I felt far more comfortable on it then the 125 I'd been riding. I really want one now! Beautiful machine
I had the suspension, front and rear, professionally upgraded, what a huge difference its made. Now this thing can corner and handle the bumps a 1000% better. Now it's a real bike.
Thanks for the comment!
how much it costed you to fix it?
@@JustRitschie $2000NZ, worth every penny considering the roads we ride on here.
So what exactly did they change? ツ
@@XDNZ666 replaced the front fork springs added valves and heavier oil. Replaced the rear shock and adjusted for my weight
To this day, the FZ/MF-07 is by far the best bay for your bike motorcycle you can get.
They’re just that good and surprisingly fun. Stunt bike. Commuter bike. Beginner bike. Touring bike, kinda. Off road bike with some mods. They can be set up to do anything.
The only other bike I’ve had that much fun on for the money, is a WR250R.
Great review Alex, but that key is still the wrong side of the dash. Move the key towards the rider and the dash back and you would be able to see it better when riding without looking so far down.
Still want to buy one of these after many years and haven't got around to. Seems like it might be the time with this new tft screen
Great video. I had a f7-07 a while back. Best bike i ever have. I rode it every day for work in Florida, rain or shine. Highly recomend.
Cheers - certainly is a hugely popular motorcycle.
@@BikeMattersHello friend, are you American? My second question is what is the price of MT07 and how many liters does it burn per 100 kilometers?
Does anyone know if you can replace the dash with an older model? I really don't like the look, maybe 2022 dash on th 2023 MT??
That mt07 has wind visor and comfort seat that u tested?
Fucking hell you look different 😂😂😂 keep going 👍🏾👍🏾
That Tracer GT 9 ❤

I would have expected more info about the engine specs, the type of clutch, gearbox, sensors…
The new dash shape and the way it sits so high off the bars is unfortunate.
I have one and the new dash is perfect.
I agree the dash is really nice, with a windscreen that angle of the dash is gone.
If I get one it will be the older model I can’t stand the new dash it looks so cheap.
Needs a windscreen to cover it
Why do all the dashes have these huge bezels?
Yeah, it's so retarded, you don't need that much room for warning lights
Does this version have abs?
Yes
Dude as per law current gen bike anything above 300 cc must have abs

Did it get hot around legs, or did you ride long enough to experience?
Didn't notice any significant heat, but I would imagine after hours of riding it'll get warm.
I have a 2016 version since new here in California, and haven't noticed any heat issues. I never ride in jeans, only textile riding gear and boots.
2:39 whys the camera man hiding in the bush lol
Haha, anything to get that shot!
The new dash looks so out of place.
Motor HP is 73.4, not 72.
The mt09 with that tiny 3 inch dash is looking very out of place now
Take the iPad off.
