in return, they sent me a letter asking for CASH DONATIONS to their church!!

The first mistake you made was to think there were any pastors in that building. I am sorry you were deceived. I hope you and your family are well now.
Well first off, a church that size, did you really think they were going to pray for you individually in letter format unless you actually went to the church yourself and met them? Which if so, they do pray for their congregants after services. A ministry of that size not only releases so many letters now electronically, but also receives so many letters and emails, mainly prayer requests with money in them in most cases. It sounds harsh, but they can't individually pray for you the way you wanted them to.
I emailed them like 7 years ago asking if they could pray for me because I was sick. However, they never replied, not even an automated email saying that they got my email. 😂😂😂😂😂
That is one honest worker. Respect to him for reporting what he found instead of swiping it. The love of money is the root of all evil.

He is referring to Jesus, however the Him is referring to God. // He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, // He is God in this scripture as clarified in the previous verse. 1 Col 1:12
The chapter is started off with // We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, //
No where in your attempted description does it show that Jesus created anything.
ANSWER TO 7: John is not stupid, nor deceitful. If Jesus was God almighty, he simply would have stated that up front. What he said was the same as what I posted just above, that God created all things. The word of God is not only his ability to do things, but also his promise to send a helper to bring people closer to him.

Neither John, nor Jesus, nor any other follower of Christ has ever claimed that Jesus is God.
ANSWER TO 8: Jesus never said he was the first and the last. Although it is very easy to say that he was the one speaking in certain verse, it was not. God is the Alpha and Omega, and it is so stated in Revelation.

The scroll in Revelation was handed down to Jesus from God. // And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll . . . . Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
As you should be able to see by now, Jesus is not God, nor did he create anything.
According to what John said, the only reason you cannot see is because you do not have the spirit of God in you, but rather have the spirit of the Antichrist in you. Read 1 John 4:3, 2:18-22, and 2 John 1:7 a bit closer and listen to what he says.

You guys are missing the point. For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, Jesus, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus died on that cross for all our sin and in all our sin and took the wrath of God for us. That precious blood that spilt from Jesus is the blood that washes all sin away. For He is the Lamb that was slain and He is our Risen Everlasting Father. Look to Jesus and accept His precious blood for everlasting life with Him in paradise. Theory - the bathroom has floating tiles for a ceiling. The person pops the tile, drops the money in the wall, but has either forgotten to attach a string to it in order to pull it back out, or a string was not attached well enough so the money had no strings attached and he could not retrieve it.
I never felt this man to be a true man of God. Asking people to send money to them to pray for you is not what God wants his people to do.

I donated money to Osteen and I've bought some of his CD's, this past year I found out that he paid 5 million dollars for his car and I thought to myself how all of that money could have been spent to help people who needed it more. I did enjoy hearing him every Sunday and I liked the message he sent but since I researched him and found out more about him I'm done, I'll never send him anymore money.
