Exactly. He should interview some of Elvis Presley Memphis Mafia members and they would be able to tell him what Tom Parker was really like.
I've done my own research. I stand by my opinion. Col did more good than bad. Despite what bad movies want to claim.
I have SERIOUS doubts about much of what the memphis Mafia has said.. I think they say a lot for financial gain because many have proven to be inaccurate or have retracted their statements and stories. Most of them, in fact
@Daze with Jordan the Lion That is true Jordan. He had connections with people that Sam Phillips didn't. Although I believe Sam Phillips was sad to see Elvis leave Sun Records I'm sure that he knew that Tom Parker could do alot more to advice Elvis Presley career then he could. Who knows Elvis might not have ever gotten into the movies if it wasn't for Tom Parker. But I always kinda felt like Sam Phillips thought of Elvis like a son. Have you ever thought of interviewing any members of the Memphis Mafia?
If he was so bad Elvis would have ended his relationship in a flash. He may not have been the nicest guy and certainly didn't have Elvis's kindness or generosity but he arranged for Elvis to be the top paid actor in Hollywood at the time. And yes some of the mafia guys didn't like him. But he put Elvis on the map. Elvis did what he wanted to do or not do. Parker worked for him. And he did a great job. The movie "Elvis" was alot of untrue crap.

I absolutely love, Florida! When there I feel so much more closer to the creation, and the creator. (Earthy, and God because it's his creation). It has that fresh yet free and grimy feeling. And down to earth ( in the outskirts of big tourist places like Daytona. Staying in the old motels on the beach feels as about nostalgic as you can get (at least for myself).

Obviously, when you watch the Elvis movie they left out a lot of details out on how Elvis got his first start with sun records. How he went to sun records to record a song for his mother's birthday present on a single 45 record. Then the security I can't remember her name who setted up his audition with Sam Phillips. I know his movie would of been a lot longer if they would of put the details of the Sun records and the details what you shared. Interesting stuff thank you for sharing.
They not only left out details, they made up stuff, and drastically changed the real history. A horrible disgrace of a movie to his memory

True the C was dedicated to Elvis because he saw how he can use him for his financial gain.

True talent can’t be ignored, Elvis would’ve been successful with or without Col Parker. Might have taken longer, but he would have made it big.
And because Col Parker, Elvis never got to play in Europe, Australia, South America, anywhere outside the US. Can you imagine an Elvis World Tour?! Keep Rockin’ 🎸
