Yeah, the standard procedure is, indicate your intentions and then brake. Mr "No Problem" driver, hitting the brake and the indicator at almost the same instant, is careless driving in my book. I feel that the cammer is angry with himself for not foreseeing the problem developing and avoiding it. Been there, done that myself!
If you pull in front of another car, hit the brakes and get out that should be an immediate ban. Preferably a permanent ban.

If you're in a taxi and the driver contravenes the highway code, resulting in you fearing for your life, you are within your rights to ask them to stop immediately and not pay them. They will undoubtedly call the police which at the very least will cost them time and money.

@@Andrew-mf4yh Whilst numbers plates are covered by GDPR, because its deliberately vague, they are everywhere and there is footage everywhere. Noone is going to prosecute.
This would also cover the faces of the people in the videos.
Covering them is extra effort for no gain, as I don't need to use this, or any, youtube video to find a number plate. I can walk down the road and obtain one.
Again, GDPR is vague deliberately, and a number plate cannot be used to personally identify anyone, without proper authorisation. I.E law enforcement or the Driving Licence/Standards agencies.
Those people would be in breach if they shared the info, we normal people cannot obtain that info and so it doesn't matter.
I would also like to point out, if you're going to be this anal, the internet is going to be a scary place for you :)

"Scooter head on" - if you run over one of those idiots, then please do not feel guilty - they're illegal and should not be used anywhere in public - that means roads, footpaths, cycle lanes or public parks etc. - anything that happens to the rider is 100% the rider's fault ...... I have no time for people who use the roads illegally
