- @EarthsMightiestHeroes.
Following two failed attempts at conquering Earth, Darkseid and his armies continue conquering other worlds. The Justice League devise a plan to defeat Darkseid by infiltrating Apokolips while leaving the Teen Titans on Earth to defend it. Unbeknownst to them, Darkseid spies on the League through Cyborg. The League are overwhelmed and defeated by Paradooms and a majority of the heroes from both the League and the Titans are killed, while those who survive are placed into Darkseid's slavery.
Two years later, Darkseid has placed devices known as "Reapers" which mine the planet's core. The surviving heroes blame Clark Kent / Superman for leading them into failure. Superman has been forcibly depowered after Darkseid tattooed his chest with liquid kryptonite. He and Raven, who has been struggling to maintain her father Trigon's imprisonment seek John Constantine for a location spell to track Damian Wayne. Although reluctant to help at first, considering himself a coward for fleeing during the initial attack on Darkseid and leaving his lover Zatanna to die, Constantine locates Damian at a League of Assassins outpost. Clark explains to Damian they need him to help free his father Batman from Darkseid's mind control. Damian reluctantly agrees to join the group.
The group travel to Stryker's Island in Metropolis and meet with Clark's wife Lois Lane who has recruited the Suicide Squad to their cause, now led by Harley Quinn. Clark and Lois reveal their plan to infiltrate LexCorp and use a boom tube to return to Apokolips and kill Darkseid. Meanwhile, the remaining heroes launch an attack on the Reapers but are slowly killed battling the Paradooms. At the building, they are confronted by Lex Luthor, who reveals he was working with Lois to gain intel on Darkseid. The group splits into two with Clark, Raven, Constantine, and Etrigan the Demon going to Apokolips and Lois, Luthor, and the Squad remaining at the building to defend the boom tube. Batman informs Darkseid of Luthor's betrayal, prompting Batman to send Paradooms and the newly converted mechanical Furies after the heroes.
Upon arrival, Clark's group is attacked by the Furies, consisting of cybernetic versions of Wonder Woman, Mera, Hawkman, Starfire, and Martian Manhunter. Etrigan is killed by Wonder Woman, but Constantine manages to break her free using her Lasso of Truth. She decides to stay behind to fend off the other Furies as the group head on. They next rescue Flash from a treadmill powering Apokolips; Constantine learns that Flash had altered the timeline in the past. Shortly thereafter, they are confronted by Cyborg, who has been integrated into the planet's network. Constantine frees Cyborg from Darkseid's control, which also frees the remaining Furies as they are about to overpower Wonder Woman. Darkseid orders Batman to kill Damian but he hesitates when he is reminded of his parents' death, which breaks him free of Darkseid's mind control. In a fit of rage, Darkseid tries to kill Batman but is intercepted by Damian, who dies in Batman's arms. His death overwhelms Raven, her sudden emotional instability setting Trigon free. Constantine offers his body as a vessel for Trigon, but he refuses and takes Clark's body instead, purging the kryptonite from his body, restoring his powers, and killing Constantine. Trigon attacks Darkseid. Constantine is briefly visited by Zatanna in the afterlife, who reveals she used a spell to manipulate Constantine to flee back to Earth as part of a contingency plan prepared by Batman. Simultaneously, Raven and Zatanna revive Damian and Constantine.
Back at LexCorp, Lois's team is surrounded by Paradooms, prompting them to initiate a self-destruct. Lois transmits a goodbye message to Apokolips with Cyborg's assistance. Her death shocks Clark back to his senses and frees him from Trigon's possession. Constantine and Raven agree to combine their magic to give Trigon a physical body so he can continue fighting Darkseid. Cyborg reveals his plan to teleport the Paradooms back to Apokolips while dragging the planet into a boom tube with no exit. Cyborg teleports the heroes back to Earth and commences his plan. Relishing the battle, Trigon prevents Darkseid's escape as they are dragged into oblivion.
Despite their victory, Batman reveals one-third of Earth's magma has been drained by the Reapers, the planet's rotation was compromised, and that people will continue to die by the millions before the League can potentially find a solution. As a result, Constantine convinces Flash to run back in time and reset the timeline again despite knowing that the world will not be the same as before. Flash eventually agrees. Damian and Raven share a kiss as they and the remaining heroes watch as the timeline resets as a bright light covers the entire world, leaving their ultimate fate unknown.

My man Barry 'The Saddest man alive" God knows how many flashpoint he created to save the universe and his friends, Bro saw his friends , family, Iris die again and again and still running. Barry the true Hero of DC. Someone give this man a therapist.
He needs his own Daredevil to give him a hug
Controversial thought, but I don't feel sorry for Barry. He created multiple Flashpoints rather than accept the way things were. I would be pissed too, knowing my universe got screwed because of someone else's mistake.
@Killgore-ip2yq I ask myself, if I were Barry, would I have done any different in the same situation.
That's why he's worthy of the Ring of Hope. He, along with Superman never stop fighting for a better future.

Damien and Raven having one last kiss goodbye before the flashpoint, not knowing if they'll find each other again in the new timeline. All the feels.
The relationship between these two was something very beautiful, and I hope to see this relationship in other works
Unfortunately, I don't think either exist anymore, which really makes me sad because their relationship was so unexpected, but it worked beautifully, becoming my favourite in this franchise.
Anyway, the subsequent Tomorrowverse has Batman, but so early in his career that he hasn't even met Dick Grayson yet.
Flash doesn't remember anything, so I suppose at least he doesn't carry trauma again. The only person who remembers the old reality is Constantine and the Spectre is torturing the hell out of him for cosmic "interference."

I think what makes this so impactful to me is how the universe began with Barry realising how destructive a Flashpoint was at the beginning of the series before ending with a Flashpoint to end it all
And his first Flashpoint was for a selfish reason although not a bad one, meanwhile this Flashpoint was completely selfless. Realizing that you alone will bare the burden of knowing what happened in the worst reality thus far, but still committing to a Flashpoint so that your friends don't is just.. 😭

Well in retrospect, is that a timeline worth living in? Constantine understood what needed to be done. Like he said it may not be perfect but it's better that what was of that world they inhabited with in.
Had it been thoroughly developed over a few movies, it would have been an amazing ending. Even better than Endgame if you ask me. Like they won and lost at the same time.

If you ask me. This is what the injustice series needed. Flash going back in time to undo all the destruction caused by the joker and keeping Superman and the justice league from going rogue. Hopefully, we might see something like that in the future
I'll be honest, all the time line resets and multi verse stories just cheapen the main story. It's hard to get invested when you know you can just reset the timeline and try again. What does any individuals backstory matter if it can be changed when some character feels like it?
Doing so in Injustice just ruins the point of the story.
@@TheDirtysouthfanthe injustice story is too dark and depressing. Superman has always been a symbol of heroism. Injustice ruins the reputations of both him and the justice league.
Going back in time and change everything is not always the only way, you just going to depend on it if you always try to use it if you make some kind of mistake
If i remember right, the Joker kills Flash so that they cant do a time reset and Wally isn't fast enough yet. This is from the movie. I thought that killing flash was a clever move that prevented them from clearing the board.
@@loopin269 It's in the movie, but Flash is alive in the comics and the games.
The story continues in Constatine House of Mystery
Constantine is punished for convincing Flash to "rewrite reality" by the Specter, who locks him in the House of Mystery that was once Constantine's headquarters, guess the house must have rebuilt itself after Orchid piloted it to try and kamikaze one of Darkseid's magma reaping machines
Constantine is constantly tormented by apparitions of his friends (most of whom he had lost to "demon deals gone bad" at one point or another) and of Zatanna, whom he had considered having kids with at a certain point in their "doomed relationship"
but all those apparitions turned demonic in the end and Constantine got killed by them only to wake up alive and okay a few minutes later
he realized the house was playing a trick on him and keeping him trapped in a loop
he eventually escapes by taking advantage of three demons he sold his soul to
the Specter then reveals that his intention was not to imprison Constantine, but to keep him safe while the "multiverse reset itself" after the events of Apokolips War, but now that Constantine had broken himself out, he would have to go deal with what happens next in person without any help
Constantine is then sent barreling towards the "reset multiverse"

From The Flashpoint to this movie, the whole thing was very well written. This is how I imagined the fight with a universal threat should go. With a great personal cost.
Shoutout to Barry for being the most mentally strong superhero out there. Man's saw his friends and family die twice, remembered both timelines, and still chose to create a new Flashpoint
This one event caused the crisis of infinite earths. Even though Flash never realized it and nor did Constatine, they were both the root cause and are now facing the consequences of Flash being stuck in the speed force and Constatine witnessing the fate of every earth being destroyed.
Wait you mean the new movie is liked to this one?! Sick
Temper your expectations, the movie it’s not the best. It’s no where near as gory or graphic or violent as this one. Hell the narrative switches from the past to future to present constantly through the movie. More than half the movie are people just talking about the anti matter wave and a completely irrelevant sun plot regarding Amazo.
This stings more if the flash museum scene was after infinite crisis where Batman shot Darkseid meaning things weren’t perfect and Barry trying to make them perfect kickstarted this

This scene basically proves that Flash should be the face of the Justice League, the trio can do whatever but Flash can undo everything. Like how is that less op than Supes? As for leadership and decision making, yes, the trio would do better. If anything i'd replace Wonder Woman with The Flash as part of the trio of the JL, because he's much more influential than WW will ever be.
literally the first person ive EVER seen to talk about this and i completely agree.
@@_eternxl_Also WW's powers don't make much sense. At least in how tf she can deflect bullets with her bracelets. How does she have the reflex and the speed to move her arms FASTER than the speed of bullets? (Especially rapid-fire guns like SMGs) Do her bracelets have a strong magnetism that attracts the bullets? If so then why aren't her bracelets attracting every kind of metal to her? Is it magic stuff?
Such a lame character imo. And i neither like her revealing outfit. Supes, Batman and Flash all hide their most relevant features (they don't look like your generic MMORPG Barbarian) but Diana just shows meat like np.
Doesn't she care about her secret identity for her personal life?
Maybe it's just me being ignorant about her, but i never read a single comic about her. Yet despite all the time i see her on movies and other medium outside of comics, i always asks these questions to myself.
Why not boot Batman out of the trio? His main power is being able to pay for everything. Oh right, because it's Batman, so we have to pretend like a baseline human wouldn't be completely useless in the truly dire universe ending situations.

Time travel and multiverses are such cop-outs in modern writing. The "stakes" don't amount to anything when you can just reset it all or hop to another universe.
Well I mean there was a big consequence for what Barry did here this causes crisis on infinite earths
Except with flash, it always has consequences
Yeah, writers only use alternative realities to make their fan fictions a reality and brutally maim and kill characters without consequences. So much horrible shit happened in this movie and it's undone like that. Meanwhile you have Elseworld and What If stories where people's favorite characters get cannibalized or tortured or sexually assaulted or worse.
Alternative realities should just be used to show an interesting direction the story could have taken if things went differently, instead it's used to resurrect characters, make 'diverse' versions of existing characters and allow writers to tell their torture porn fanfiction without hurting the real versions (unless it's Spider-Man, he gets fucked up in continuity).
There may be consequences for the Flash but time travel and multiverse concepts have been used so much (and not just by DC) that they’ve practically reached the “it was all a dream” level cringe now
