Trains at Hull - 19/05/2022

Filmed on 19/05/2022. A revisit to East Yorkshire's busiest and main terminal stations which connects for the buses to Barton Upon Humber for Lincolnshire's popular seaside resort town of Cleethorpes. Welcome back to Hull Paragon Interchange (Season 9 Episode 13)
Since the May timetable change, Northern has re introduced their hourly services linking Bridlington to York services via Selby as well as sadly cutting back on some services. One example is their Hull to Halifax services which is now running every 2 hours due to crew shortage. But, Northern is putting on additional compacity on their trains to help ease the congestion. Even though not captured but Hull Trains service from London Kings Cross arrived into Hull 6 minutes early which lead to us missing its arrival.
There are issues for Transpennine Express though as some of their trains throughout the their rail network has been cancelled due to no train crews being available and also, a broken down track machine which was blocking the York to Leeds via Garforth line which caused big delays and short notice cancelled train services.

Yeah, I understand what you mean. There is also Hull Trains and a daily LNER services which does link Hull. The City Of Culture 2017. Thank you Daniel :-)

Thank you Arnold, happy to hear you have enjoyed it. Well, there was a Hull Trains Paragon service. But, because there were 3 class 185's on platform 5, I had to keep switching platforms. As the Northern 170 arrived, I was walking to platform 7 to see it did arrive but it arrived 5 minutes early. Not to worry as some would say, Every Cloud Does Have A Silver Lining :-)
