  • Easter Day 2014 at The Cathedral of St. John The Divine, NYC, played on the fully restored Great Aeolian Skinner Organ Op. 150AB (as restored by Quimby Pipe Organs, Inc., 2008). The Offertory Hymn is 'Christ The Lord Is Risen Today' - Llanfair.
    The Cathedral's Associate Organist Raymond Nagem performs at the console. Director of Cathedral Music Kent Tritle conducts the Cathedral Choir.

    This is NOT an Aeolian Skinner! This is an Ernest M. Skinner original, built by the Master himself.

      @BVale I must agree that this instrument is a happy mixing of two very different styles. Another example can be found at Trinity Church, Copley Sq. Boston.

      The Bombarde and State Trumpet was added by Aeolian Skinner.
