- What3words uses a grid of the world made up of 57 Trillion 10ft by 10ft squares. Each square has been given an address composed of three words. In this video we look at the Pro's and Cons of this app.

I've been digging this app. I've been playing with it for the last couple days and I'm really starting to like it. Seems to be available offline, which is huge.
The only way it would be useful is if it catches on, otherwise there's no point.

How does one use it to find a location/destination?

You don't demonstrate HOW to use the app. Mechanics of the app.
Interesting but I don't see the advantage over regular UTM coordinates.
They claim it reduces the ability for error and if someone does not know how to give a grid reference it is much easier to share a location.
Our local Bc, Canada news had search & rescue on saying they located a skier in back country that didn’t know exactly where they were - they were found quickly b/c of this app. Do need cell service though...
I tried this app and got bombed by adds i almost trashed my phone , get a compass and map !

Turn off the GPS and you know how useless this APP is!
