The way ch4 is set-up is the perfect way to do it too, since there's always land masses that the zero is grabbing but not attaching to the island, why not having more small bits the same theme comming throughout of the season, making either the island bigger in certain parts or just going on top of already existing landmass lol

I miss chapter 2. This storyline has been nothing but unanswered questions
Yeah, ever since the island flipped they forgot how to make a good story
Isn't that literally how it's always been though? Chapter 1 was basically just random nonsense with little to no explanation. It wasn't till Chapter 2 when things became more clear. But there's still a lot left unanswered, usually for next season/ future seasons. The storyline being slow, vague and throwing out characters that lose their BP special privileges is nothing new.
But like everything else, Epic listens to community feedback, and what did we tell them? "I'm getting sick of the Seven and IO constantly returning, why can't we have new characters?" And your wish has been granted! All the mainline storyline characters are missing and we're left with brand new storyline characters from the BP which changes each season! You happy now?
Am dude there are still some unanswered in chapter 2 3 4 1 you have to first know the story before commenting lol that’s how Fortnite has been all over the years dude 😂😂
@@TheEpicGalaxy21 btw the seven and the io are still in the story line but in different dimensions after the new island has been formed many people have disappeared why because they are trying to stop geno and the new characters some of them now might are working for him
@@alighp6040 I know they're still technically around (or atleast, that's what we think). I just meant for the time being none of the mainline characters are ON the Island or taking an active role in the storyline at the moment. It's all just the BP characters who'll lose their special privileges by the end of the season.
Sure, maybe the Seven will return with the explanation of being captured/ corrupted by the Last Reality, or the IO coming out of hiding or something. But for the time being, they're effectively out of the story till the return and explain their absence.
Btw the Luminaries are a group of people that are currently investigating the cracks we can see there logo on tents in the new trailer

I don’t think we went back in time to rewrite history with the oathbound. I think Geno left that universe to work on the IO hence why the ageless was left in charge

My theory for how all of this is going to go is that since it seems like this chapter we're making a lot of allies (Stellan and AMIE consider us friends, and the Syndicates have our backs), eventually, all the loose ends of the storyline will eventually be tied up in the final season of the Chapter. We'll presumably see another huge threat, and we call in all our friends and favours to work together to stop it. All the "Unfinished Storylines" will also hopefully be explained. What's the deal with the Shapeless man? Maybe he's Triarch Nox, or maybe he's finally arrived and is the threat, you get the idea. So we'll likely see more random plot threads next season that'll be resolved in the future... hopefully...

I really feel like the story has kinda been lacking this chapter. Ch4 s1 was pretty cool with the rift gate and geno and stuff, but this season has just been silence besides quests. I also wish there were more live events.

I have the feeling fortnite is breaking apart with Chapter 4. My motivation to play fortnite was never so low it just makes no more fun I remember the Marvel Season with all the Super Hero Powers and all the Cups and a Live Event!!! at the end that was nuts

* It would be amazing if we had to pick a side (unlocking different styles for the characters AND depending on which side was winning the 'war' the storyline changed accordingly)
