- This video shows some of the locations of Trio Mandili’s CZcams videos. At the moment the Trio has released more than 200 videos, so this here is only a small selection. Georgia is well worth a visit and so are the locations of the Trio Mandili videos.
Corrections:
- According to CZcams, the release date of the song "Apareka" is September 4, 2014 and not August 23, 2014 as stated in my film.
- The song title is “Ertma bichma”, not “Ertma bicha”.

Fascinating, I was always wondering about the locations and the background of the delightful Trio.

Thank you very much for your kind comment. I actually struggled a bit with the creation of the video. I had the idea 1.5 years ago. I then filmed it on location in Georgia. But the editing of the film didn't progress at first and was then interrupted by my stay in France with the Trio Mandili concert. After that I finally finished the video. I think it turned out well for Trio Mandili too. Trio Mandili certainly don't particularly like the look behind the scenes, but it also shows how much thought and work the Trio puts into creating their CZcams videos. Enjoy the Mimino movie.
Following in the footsteps of Trio Mandili last year, I visited most of the locations in the video, and next time I will try to go to the others that are more difficult to access..
In the first part of the video, we meet Shorena, Tatuli and Ani, who start Trio Mandili with the song Apareka 04.09.214 (wrongly claimed for August).
at one of their first concerts in Tianeti, they found a manager who offered them to release an album with their songs, and they began a career as singers.
A big jump to 2016 follows. - you fail to mention Elene Nareshelashvili, who plays panduri and is a member of Trio Mandili (important to know)
Tako and Irina join the Mandili Trio (shots of Tako and her classmates are from Mount Elia 41.442052, 46.108729)
Erti Nakhvit - Winter version of Apareka was filmed in Stepantsminda=Kazbegi (Mandili trio sometimes make 2/3 clips in one day and share their clothes with each other)
Chito-Gvrito - twice I passed around the airport, but the first time it was dark and the second time there was police and I didn't stop :( in Tbilisi I took a picture with the Mimino monument :)
Osuri - I ate at the restaurant you mentioned..
Ertma bicha - I had bookmarked this place, but didn't get to see it
Enguro - they usually sing about the place the song is about, but they probably got the river wrong.. (the name of the second album is Enguro)
Salaghobo(Daukarit) - patriotic songs are my favorite, Tako sings this style amazingly..
Dariali - I walked from Gudauri to the monument, there was snow up to my knees and it was cold (10 kilometers)
Karo & Vajau - I haven't been there :( is Tako's name 100% Tamari? she is also called Tamriko, Takunia, Tak'una)
Kakhuri & Gautsine! - I took a selfie with Madona, she had a new little donkey; (3 songs were filmed there)
Tolia - I found the location on Google before watching this clip.
Deli, Dela, Dalasa - I did not see boat; I'll take a good look next time..
Mariam is the fourth to play pandoors in Trio Mandili (Irina and Elene are ignored in this clip)
Iruli chkimda - one of the songs in which relatives have a part in the background..
Alublebi - I hope it is not Winter in Ushiguli in September
Shatilis Asulo - Taco is from Shatili neighboring region - Khevsureti, but she prefers Kakheti
the song Iseti kali was also shot in Svaneti i wanted to see it on the map
Sadghats shors - Ani Chincharauli also went skiing in Bakuriani this year

Thanks for the nice comment. And of course, this video does not claim to be exhaustive in terms of where the videos were shot. I have omitted all the band members other than those listed due to time constraints, as it is necessary to present the history of the Trio correctly in two minutes. As far as the criticized timing of the release of the video "Apareka" is concerned, I am probably right. I used a fairly unknown original Georgian interview, dated 20.09.2014, from the Trio Mandili as my source.
Correction: According to CZcams, the release date of the song "Apareka" is September 4, 2014 and not August 23, 2014 as stated in my film. Maybe you are right. I’m still looking for my source of information. I think I found the date in an interview ... Tamari is Tako's birth name. I found it in an official document from the manager.

With your reference to the incorrect publication date of "Apareka", you have brought me to an interesting point. I have since found out that I have this date from a self-created file of lyrics from Trio Mandili, which I created from the year 2021 onwards. At the time in 2021, I identified the release date on CZcams as August 23, 2014. That would also match the interview from September 20, 2014, which was conducted about four weeks after the release. Yesterday, CZcams stated September 4, 2014. Now, as far as I know, the release date can still be changed retrospectively, both by CZcams and by the uploader. Either I made a mistake in 2021 or the date was changed later. I have now given a hint in the video description. Editing the video again and leaving out or changing the date does not make sense. It took more than 9 hours to upload the 22 gigabyte file. Re-uploading a modified version would require at least the same effort. You don't go to this effort for such a small thing.
@@rubengopro for Trio Mandili 04.09 is a fateful date, for me it is also special because it mirrors my birthday (09.04). Аnd for the reason that I intend to go to Sakartvelo for the second time then to celebrate the 10th anniversary🥳
