Bonners Ferry is Idaho's gateway community near the Canadian border.
An award-winning Visitor Center welcomes you to the always friendly Bonners Ferry, and the Boundary County Museum is a great place to learn something about the area's colorful past.
Just a few minutes from downtown Bonners Ferry, you'll find a spectacular place called the Kootenia National Wildlife Refuge. It's a 2700 hundred acre habitat for a variety of wildlife including bald eagles, elk, deer, moose and migratory waterfowl.

Mike and Mary Mackey along with his brother Bill owned the store, cabins and roller rink until the late 40's, they moved to Boswell on Kootenay Lake and fished their days out.

I love moving to this place but if you not white you not welcome I just come back from Bonner ferry yesterday I go there twice a year sometime 3 times but people don't always treat you right like they say
