Yes, Tried but it’s either clamped on postition 4 which would be ok for 2010 on or well to far for position 5 as the base of the Emergancy is slanted which allows it to lock into the remote. Tried cutting a xhorse blade first and copying that but still no joy. Might have to purchase the m2 clamp for these.
Has anyone had any luck cutting older single sided automotive keys with the dolphin? Mine does not seem to like the late 80's style gm keys at all and was just wondering if it needed a different clamp perhaps 🤔
Wooo good job
Thanks
I just upgraded my Dolphin 1 about a week ago and really like the M5 clamp so far.
I’ve had the dolphin 2 for about a year. The m5 clamp is definitely the way to go
good to know thanks!
You’re welcome
GREAT, I just ordered me one.
I’ve gotta order another too. I took the one from my dolphin 2 to try it
Can you cut house keys with the m5 clamp. The normal standard keys please
I don’t know
How do u know what number position for each key ? Like honda ? Lexus or a normal cut ?
Not sure I know what you’re asking
Did you have to calibrate the clamp or cutter when using the m5 clamp?
Nope
How do we do hu64 Emergancy blades for before 2010? It says go to line 5 but Emergancy blade can’t slide down that far. Anyone else came across this?
Did you try sliding it as far at it would go and see if the machine figured it out?
Yes,

Does the xhorse blade work?
On the M5 Do you still have to change between the 1.5 and 2.0 cutters when cutting outside or inside cut keys?
I have never used anything but the 1.5mm no matter which clamp or keys I’m cutting.
@@BoredLockpicker thank you 👍
do you know if i am able to purchase the cover shield from the dolphin 2? it looks like it would go right on the 1...
I have no idea. Check Ali express. They have the clamps and stuff
thank you but is it worth it ?
I have a dolphin two. If if I’m doing a lot of keys in one place it’s nice to not have to swap clamps
@@BoredLockpicker Has it been confirmed that this dolphin model will cut single sided blanks such as KW1 and SC1 etc?
I haven’t heard that. Right now you can universal duplicate or use user created profiles that sort of work to code cut. I just use my blitz

I cut those with my blitz. I’ve never tried on the dolphin
