    Watanhor is a Cantonese dialect of meaning Cantonese style rice noodle. The kuey teow is fried with oil and light soy sauce hence it is brown in color. It is soaked in the white thick soup (which is Cantonese style of cooking). At KL we call it cantonese style noodle (yee mi, kuey teow or bihun). If mixture of two different type of noodles, it is called ying yong (sort of ying and yang).

      Yes, we are in Sabah.
      It takes some time to edit videos. So we don’t upload right away. We went to Ipoh before going to Sabah, and still have 2 more videos from there. To see us in real time, please check out our stories on Instagram😁

    11:06 Cantonese style maybe? We called it Kuey Teow Kung Fu in Malay.

    • @alexlee2765
      @alexlee2765 Před 2 lety +5

      Yes, it is Cantonese style but only found in Malaysia & Singapore, like Char Kuey Teow also created in Malaysia, inspired by some similar dishes in Hong Kong.
      I think correct Malay name should be Kuey Teow Kantonis which is quite popular in warung and halal foodcourt. Kung Fu is the actual pronunciation of "Cantonese" in Cantonese like Tionghua (in Indonesian) instead of Cina.
