Same today, but they add new stuff and charge for it, wich should be logical to most of ya.
U can still play this game without spending anything with the same content.
And thanks to the new content, players will keep playing it longer.
I miss it too. Then with Ubisoft I am so worried for the future of AC with this live service model.

@@davetroll5027 we got session, skater xL skate 3 and skate coming out, THPS, etc so many skate games and to me rides is the worst and I put in time to get use to all the controls as well it’s just not worth it
I bought the skateboard pack day one but all my events are gone They're not showing up at all just live events
do you have to buy the skate plus pack that comes with the skateboard, the ritch ultimate and the hoverboard to get access to both free roam and all the event for skateboarding, or is it also a options to just buy the skateboard bundle for 2,500 Rc and u get access to all the skateboard included events, sponsors and free-roam for it that way as well?😕
You can just buy the skateboard bundle for 2,500 RC & have access to everything the skateboard sport has to offer. That’s what I did😄👍🏼
No outfits should cost money, if it was free then maybe but not when the game cost money

Yeah it’s a bummer😔 You can still play skateboard in multiplayer & rotational live events to at least experience it. If you really enjoy the skateboard then maybe you can be happy with paying $20 just for the skateboard pack🛹💚
@@TeeJay-ue9pp thanks for the book but I'm not so sure every single sport isn't free, I'm not saying I expect a good dlc not to be free but the game wants me to pay for the skate board, jet pack, jet ski, etc totalling more than 70 for a new game I want so excuse me if I'm surprised so many cool features including skateboarding are locked behind a pay wall. and other games have been releasing free expansions so its not uncommon so it's kinda stupid for u to say it's common sense to expect to pay....when u don't always have to pay...idiot

I got the game last year for $40 that was the game plus the year one pass i skipped the hoverboard and ultimate pack
The way I look at it is. If ur gonna buy the skateboard for 25$ are u going to be putting 25hours or more into using it. That’s how I justify it

I think it's better to look at it by an hourly wage figure. So say you make $12.50 a hour and only play two hours then you got you money's worth

I bought the year pass, skipped out on the ultimate, skipped out on the Hoover board but I got the skateboard but I don’t buy RC but I have bought v bucks

I wanted to buy the Skateboarding dlc, but it is way to expensive. 40 bucks for skateboarding? I got the full game with a full map, bikes,wingsuits,jetpacks,skies, and snowboards for 50 bucks. So how are they justifying 40 dollars for skateboards. I either will never buy it or will wait for a 20 dollar sale. Then i would think about it.
In the past companies needed to release the best game possible for what they imagined or gather enough material for an expansion. Which were like a whole game it itself. Now they release a picked clean game for full price and in the following year will add a bunch of stuff that should have been in the base game. The most games today if bought whole are about 100-150 bucks with all dlcs and ingame shop items.
For comparisson with that value 10 games are the equivalent of a gaming pc. A price most people claim that they cant afford that even if they wanted to.
Imo, of cause gear like skateboarding and Hoverboard is worth buying. This because it’s really fun to use and it will improve your skills using them.
However all those various outfits that may be bought using RC coins is not worth it at all...

@@NowayitsBrandyn honestly! I was so hyped for this game too, I played the beta and pre ordered and got it day 1 and then every new thing cost so much. You can’t even really get any cosmetics without paying money IRL 😞 bums me out cuz it’s such a great game!

I think I can count the amount of micro transactions I've done in my 20+ years of gaming on one hand. I might consider getting the skateboard but not at this price... sick and tired of paying a lot of money for a game only to find some of it locked behind more pay walls. Just move on to a different game folks, stop supporting them financially and vote with your wallets, it's the only thing they'll react to!
